Bab's Delta Diner is the ultimate fusion brunch in Vallejo, California. They have a massive menu where classic American diner comfort food meets bold Korean cuisine. The Corned Beef Hash Eggs Benedict with fried rice was delicious. The Chicken Fried Steak is always a hit. The Chicken and Waffles strikes the perfect sweet-savory balance. The place is clean, aesthetically pleasing. Pro tip: because the food is spectacular, they get incredibly busy during peak hours. Be patient, their kitchen is well oiled, and your food will come out timely, fresh, and hot. The staff here is friendly, thorough, and highly professional, making sure you are well taken care of from start to finish. Go show the team at Babs Delta Diner some well-deserved love.

Review flagged and removed but unsure how when it's MY personal information that got out. Tsk tsk.

Very disappointing experience at a restaurant l've enjoyed in the past. The food quality has clearly declined the meal was overly salty and served lukewarm, making it seem like it had been sitting out rather than made fresh. To make matters worse, they gave my credit card to another customer, creating serious concern about my personal information. Their response was poorly handled and now going to the lengths of reporting my review.

First time here. No wait on a Sunday morning. The server was friendly. The vibe when I went seemed warm and inviting. The place was decorated for Easter. It went really well with their yellow wall. I like how the wall has charlie brown characters. The place appeared very well kept/clean. The food came out quickly. My daughter is a picky eater but she liked their oatmeal which means I will be back. I ordered spam and eggs which is always kind of comforting. It tasted as expected which is good. I'm surprised I haven't tried this place sooner. I would go back.

They're so busy. when we finally got our table, it took maybe 10 minutes to take our orders. But the service was very friendly, and the place was very colorful and clean. Food was good. I had eggs Benedict with fried rice next time. I just get the potato wedges instead of fried rice. Hubby got the special blueberry waffles, w/fruits, and my son has just a regular eggs and bacon and pancake. So, I decided to give them 4 stars, for the long wait for our orders.

First time at this location. It's located in the Glen Cove Plaza. We've eaten at the Suisun location a few times throughout the yrs so it's nice that they opened up one in Vallejo since it's closer. The ambience is definitely a total opposite from the Suisun location which has a waterfront location, outside and inside seating but limited seating inside. This location has no outside seating but it is much bigger inside and the decor is super cute and cozy. I love the Snoopy and Peanuts mural and snoopy screensaver on the TV. The service was fine. Not the best or worse. Our order was taken quickly and got our food quickly. As far as the food. It was okay. There was too much fat on my steak but I liked the fried rice and eggs. Might come back when we are in the area and we'll definitely try something else.

I've been here a couple times when it was purely Von's and also been to Babs in Suisun. I think your experience will greatly depend on what you order. I got the Korean fried chicken. I really enjoyed the flavor! It was about $20 for a half order. But I could only finished 7/10 pieces. Next time I may go for the drumsticks instead. I felt the pieces of thigh were a little dry maybe because of the size. I went with a large group and they were very accommodating! Ken was fantastic! They take reservations. He split the orders up so the kitchen wouldn't be overwhelmed. He took care of our drinks. Our food all came out relatively close together and this was almost noon lunch rush. The people that were happy with their food got the Korean fried chicken or breakfast items. Someone said the pancake was very good. The people that weren't as impressed with the food got burgers (no option to customize the patty doneness) or sandwiches. I think if you stick with what they're better known for you'll have a good experience.

The second location for Bab's Delta Diner is located in the Glen Cove Plaza in Vallejo, along with a Von's Chicken. This review is for the Diner. And yes. Solid work! To clarify, I have not been to the first location either, so this is as unbiased as you can get. Breakfast is often known as the go-to meal, the one that doesn't change. We all know what an overeasy egg should taste like, right? Babs delivers there; the corned beef hash with crispy potatoes and over medium egg tastes just as it should. No frill necessary, until you see the option to have fried rice. Fantastic fried rice for breakfast, tastes just like takeout. We also had the Mickey pancake for our son, super fluffy and not. TOO. SWEET. Playful enough to get a kid to finish his meal! Speaking of playful, the murals on the walls are adorable! I grew up with Peanuts characters as well, clipping newspaper comics and saving them for later. Wide open seating area, very different from the last restaurant that occupied this space (RIP Js garden) Service was quick, server was super friendly, no notes! This is a solid addition to anyone's breakfast rotation. If you're keen on the breakfast staples, come on thru. What I will try next are the other indulgent options, like the short rib loco moco and the stuffed French toast!

This is my first time visit and I didn't expect a busy weekday lunch with so many customers. We were seated right away, the server I don't know her name, was pleasant, courteous and made sure met our needs despite the busyness. This diner is located in a plaza with plenty of parking space. The area inside looked packed to me probably because that same time there's like a big group company lunch that was seated near us. I agree seats are close next to each other. Amazing menu options of American and Korean food. At 7am-3pm= American breakfast and lunch 11am-2:30pm= Korean dishes 4:30pm-8:30pm= Voms chicken, Korean chicken The place has a cute decor and wall art, clean place even the table condiments are nice neat and clean. Waited 15-20mins before food arrived. The korean bbq short ribs was so delicious! Pricey compared to other short ribs meal (others has white rice & mac) but it is so delectably good with their eggs and fried rice! There's kimchi and toast on the side as well, so hungry that it is worth the price. I also had the Chicken n Waffle, the chickens are huge and tastes like my mom's home cooked fried chicken. The waffles are thick and big and crispy. The left overs were out to-go for later. Overall this is a very good place to eat, reasonably priced, not the cheap or affordable choice for me but the experience and the good food and customer service hope stays the same.

Visited a few weekends ago at 9:30 on a Saturday and boy was it busy (a great sign for longevity). My friend was able to get a table fairly quickly for us and two kids. The place is small but cozy and had really cute decor for the fall season. It was quickly apparent that they sat too many tables at once and were a newer combination of team members because the wait staff were overwhelmed. Our server was very pleasant but was running all over the place so had minimal attention for each table. Our food took over 35 minutes which would have been fine had the delay been communicated and my dish, eggs Benedict, not come out fully cold while we waiting for half of the other food to arrive. Eggs Benedict was good despite the temperature and my friend loved her chicken and waffles so this place has quality, just needs more staff to support how popular it is or a bit more time for servers/kitchen to get coordinated. Will absolutely visit again but will wait a few weeks for the kitchen and staff to get more into a groove.

Super Bomb brunch & lunch spot in Vallejo!! Hubby and I per usual came on a Thursday at 11am and we were seated right away. The service from our server was decent and the service of our food was decent as well. Now ...the best part!!! My husband said his fajita omlette was the best omelette he's ever had!! My Chilaquiles was fair...BUT the fresh squeezed orange juice made up for it definitely! We will be back to try additional items on the menu!!

I will say that this review is post-3rd visit. 1st time- came with hubby to checked it out. Was surprised at how huge it was inside but pretty empty. I'm pretty sure we came in the middle of the day when everyone was at school or work. I remember I thought the Korean fried chicken was delicious- specifically the Padak flavor. I have had Korean fried chicken only in LA prior to this and I thought it was delicious. The bathroom didn't like me however! (Sorry- I'm a nurse and bodily functions does not phase me... also maybe this comment will help somebody some day!) Nevertheless, really good! 2nd time- came with coworkers for brunch. I had the chicken and waffles. They told me that I couldn't change it to dark meat. I was sad but powered on. So, since becoming a connoisseur of sorts when it comes to all things chicken and waffles, I resolved to see how I liked it. Ok, I must admit I never would have tried this place again after I found the chicken and waffles to be way overcooked and tough all the way through. Kinda like day old fried chicken, refried. This last time- Gordon Ramsey must have come down and got everyone in shape because customer service was on point. We were greeted by this beautiful woman (ugh I forgot her name but beautiful lady with lots of gold jewelry and updo. I feel like her name was Bobby- I'm sorry if you're reading this gf and I don't remember!) and quickly sat to our table. Very friendly, and let me tell you, very accommodating. So I again wanted to see if I was mistaken the first time I had the chicken and waffles, and I was!!! This was it, people.. delicious! Nice and juicy. Gave me huge leg quarter pieces. When she took our order and I again asked for dark meat, she told me that they already portion out each plate so it would be mixed. I told her about the reason why I asked and my last experience. Sister came through because my plate was delicious and dark. Tender, perfectly crunchy on the outside but juicy and moist on the inside. The waffle was heaven as well. They had specials on the menu that I don't get to try (picture shown). My husband had the chilaquiles and he gave it a 10. But the fried rice that he had chosen as a side, he didn't care for much. You get a choice of what the side would be for that specific item, that day (he's had their fried rice previously) wasn't the best. But I also wanted to mention the cute decor upon entrance. Easter themed. I wish I had remembered if there were themes during the other times we've come. All in all! Would come back again if the chicken and waffles will still be on the menu, and if it is again, all dark meat lol

Meat lovers Skillet with Chorizo w a piece of Sourdough toast.
    Julique L.

Ah. If I was told I could only have one more breakfast on this earth, I'm choosing the Meat Lover Skillet from Vons Babs Delta Diner -- and I'm adding chorizo, because that's where "really good" goes to "hecka crazy deliciousness." This dish is hands‑down my favorite breakfast anywhere. The skillet comes out sizzling, stacked with perfectly seasoned meats, crispy potatoes, and then those two over‑easy eggs on top that break just right. Dayum. It's rich, savory, comforting, and after a few splashes of Cholula, becomes bright and balanced. Every bite feels like a reward for good deeds I've yet to perform. LOL The diner itself has that warm, neighborhood energy -- the kind of place where you instantly relax because you know you're about to be fed well. Service is friendly, portions are generous, and the food is consistently excellent. If you're in Glen Cove and you love a hearty breakfast, do yourself a favor and get the skillet. Add the chorizo. TRUST ME!!

There is a dedicated parking lot, tight but can hold a decent amount of cars. There is street parking as well, not metered - that is where I parked. The hostess was extremely friendly and attentive, checking in on us several times after ordering to notify of the food's ETA as well as refilling drinks and seeing if we needed anything. The dining area has approximately ten booths in total and became quite crowded around 12:30p. Our meals arrived at different times, items to eat meal arrived sparsely as well. We ordered around 11:30a, there were two other parties present. We were able to order based on our dietary needs/wants as the menu offered quite a diverse array. The crab omelette (known as The California Omelette on the menu) is 1/4 lb of fresh crab served either hot or cold enclosed in three eggs along with avocado and Monterey Jack cheese. For $26.35 the omelette left much to be desired, especially in flavor and seasoning. Nothing complimented or even enhanced the presence of the crab in any way. The remaining party at the table said they enjoy their meal - including a blueberry waffle, toast and eggs with bacon and a double cheeseburger with fries. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to gather, this cafe is certainly an option to consider. It was easy to speak and hear each other with ample privacy and not a lot of traffic - if any.

It came with 2 perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs, hash browns, and a good sized chicken fried steak that was topped with gravy that at first bite just gives you that home cooked/ soul filling feel!
