I stumbled upon this gem on weekday morning, I stopped in with no reservations. You walk through the gate and can enter through the garden or the front entrance of the inn. The garden is so beautiful with ample amounts of shade on a sunny day. While you won't see any water views it is absolutely stunning. You order and take a number and your food is brought to you. I had a bloody Maria, likely one of the best I've had in a long time. I ordered a fried open sandwich with everything bagel seasoning.. perfection!! The staff was friendly and I can't wait to come back.

What a lovely spot! Food: 5/5. Sarah had recommended the omelette with bacon and cheddar cheese and it was delicious! I'm not usually one for salad for breakfast, but the salad was great and the perfect pairing with the omelette. I also had the perfect lavender latte! Service: 5/5. Sarah was such a delight and so friendly! My drink and food also came quickly. Amazing service! Atmosphere: 5/5. Not only is the food and service amazing, but the atmosphere is absolute perfection as well. This is the cutest little cafe at a bed and breakfast with bright yellow accents, beautiful decor, and a cozy setting. What a delightful experience and I can't wait to go back!

The atmosphere here is really nice. It is in a cute inn and has nice seating and is clean. The people were very friendly. I was, however, disappointed with the food. We ordered a breakfast sandwich. The bread was very hard and dense and did not taste like bread that I was accustomed to for a breakfast sandwich. The chicken in the chicken has was large pieces of chicken with okra, potatoes and onions. It did not resemble a hash in my opinion. It was more like a chicken stir fry. The food did not taste bad, but it was not something that I would tell others to try.

My hubby and I were there for a Celebration of Life. Everything was very nice and the food was good. We've also eaten lunch there. Amazing Avacado toast and my hubby had Fish and Chips. Tuna sandwiches are good. Limited menu but everything is very good.

Super cute spot to grab some breakfast or brunch. It is a little confusing to find at first but you just walk all the way straight down once you walk into the building until you can't and then make a right. You order at the counter and they give you a number you take with you and sit wherever, either indoors or outdoors. Everything is very aesthetic.Staff were very nice as well. I got an avocado toast and added their grilled steak on top. The steak was cooked perfectly but was a bit chewy. The menu is pretty simple but I would come back for the vibes and the mimosas.

Our party of 10 had a wonderful Sunday Brunch experience in the exquisitely charming back room (more like a welcoming sun room actually) today. The ambiance was bright and cheerful with light filled windows and plants throughout. We were warmly greeted by Sarah and also welcomed by Erica. Both expertly took our orders at the counter, professionally noting added options and preferences. Service was quick and we appreciated the regular check-ins by both staff. We all loved our food and drinks: The Cafe Burger Avocado Toast Grilled Steak Salad Tuna Melt Breakfast Potatoes Pomegranite Margarita Lavender Mimosa Some of our lightest eaters noticeably finished their generous portions of Avocado Toast, surprising everyone including themselves! The Grilled Steak Salad was exceptional with exquisitely fresh greens and nice portions of grilled steak. Such a wonderful family Sunday experience for food, drink, service and ambiance. Well done. Highly recommended!

My wife's meal was bare on the plate she enjoyed what she got but it lacked presentation. My quiche was flavored very well, the custard was too wet and separated from the delicious veg combo zucchini and asparagus. Great taste but the crust was leathery. I needed a steak knife but I just picked it up with my hands like a savage and ate it. The green salad on the side was very good. Light dressing very simple. The coffee was ok. The service was very friendly one of the best parts of the experience. They could use one more staffer on the busy times I can tell. They were cheery. The biggest complaint was the blaring hay ride country music that over produced tight jeans wet TShirt contest kinda hobby lobby vibe. It almost made the experience unbearable. The space is beautiful and the choices of art celebrates famous chefs. The interior design says class and care for the customer. The music tore through the thoughtful design to leave me with a headache and a very overwhelming sense of dread like a scene from deliverance. Would I go again? Yeah if I found out the fired the DJ. Overall this place has the most potential if they fire the music programming person. My taste buds were delighted, my head was assaulted. Please keep looking to improve what you have, this place has so much and is beautiful. Thanks for check in.

I had no idea this adorable café was tucked away here, and I'm so glad I finally got to try it. I stopped in on a gloomy Sunday morning for a coffee and a pastry, and it was exactly what I needed. They were playing Christmas music and the cozy seating area created the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. I'm already looking forward to coming back with my daughter to enjoy some food and maybe a mimosa or two!

What an incredible find in my nearby city of Vallejo - in Benicia! I met up with some long time friends from elementary school with one person coming from Fairfield and the other from Oakland, so this was a great location for meeting in the middle! First off, the place is just lovely - a restored Victorian B&B tucked off the main drag and in quiet neighborhood with plentiful street parking. The option to eat outdoors in the garden on a warm winter day was lovely, but we decided on a cozy spot indoors for more privacy. It's the kind of place where you have to place your order at the counter then take your seat with your number, yet the young ladies at the cashier and coffee service were incredibly warm, welcoming, and gave enthusiastic suggestions for what was best on the menu that day, and their specials in general. I had the Farmer's hash with bacon - which was perfection - and we shared a lovely serving of delicious deviled eggs. Everyone was very pleased with the entire experience, and I can't wait to visit again - perhaps spending the night for a B&B staycation with the hubby!? If so, I'll report back!

Very cute cafe tucked away off the main downtown street. The GPS likely will take you to the street where the inn entrance is. You can go in "backwards" through the patio seating. We were walking down 1st and followed a sign directing us 0.5 miles down a side street. This brings you to the front of the cafe. The decor is farmhouse. Lots of plants! It's warm and welcoming. This morning we ordered the breakfast plate and the farmers market hash. The price is a little steep for a casual order at the counter and take a number type of restaurant. Breakfast for two came out to about $47 after tax and tip. But the food is very tasty and fresh! I left feeling quite full. The presentation is beautiful! For example take a look at the bacon on the breakfast plate. That's quality bacon. It's not 85% fat. All the other ingredients were high quality as well. I really enjoyed the seasonal hash. It had a slight kick to it. They did not skimp on the smoked chicken. I did feel it would be worth about $20 with how loaded it was. The okra and corn gave it a nice freshness to balance out the heaviness of potatoes. Good balance of flavors and textures. For water there is a self service station with glasses and straws. You have your choice of still or sparkling water. The Cafe is a fun treat to myself when I'm feeling like a breakfast or brunch that's a little more.

My girls and I came on a Wednesday around 11 am and were able to get a seat right away! We were a large party of 10! You pay first at the counter and then find a table! We got bottomless mimosas but not everyone needs to order it! We tried the grape flavor, and it was amazing!! There's a limit of 1.5 hours for bottomless and the refill time for the drinks are slightly slow since they make the mimosas as you go, but everything else is perfect! We tried the tuna sandwich, Brussels sprouts, and avocado toast . It was all delicious and the portions were quite large! This place is super cute and the service was great! I would definitely come back again.

Stepping foot into the restaurant, it gives you that old time home inn experience. Front the front door, you walk into the home and eventually find the restaurant. I really liked the decor inside. There are plenty of rooms you can choose from and also outdoor dinning. The staff was friendly. This isn't your typical restaurant. After getting our meal, there was no follow up with staff to see if I need anything refilled or just to check up on us. The food was ok, but it didn't help the prices seemed a little high for the place. This would be a nice place to hold a small wedding, but don't really plan to go back here unless prices change or the food gets better.

We had a wonderful Valentine's lunch at the café and was created by Miss S with super awesome hospitality. The rest of the staff were friendly. The food was perfectly delicious. The place was super cute. This will definitely be one of our to go places when in town.

Of the foods I'd recommend the fried green tomatoes and fried okra for starters. They're also one of few places offering beignets. For entrees the crab cake Benedict is good. The portions are filling. Ambiance is very casual. The utensils come in a little paper pouch and the napkins are paper towels on a dowel at each table. This particular location can look a bit dim. I think it's because of the direction of the windows. It's tasty and if you've been to Huckleberry's before you won't be disappointed by this one either.

I ordered the tomato prawns with linguine and toasted French bread. My partner had the prawn cocktail with a side garden salad. We also ordered iced tea, which turned out to be Brisk literally Brisk, not fresh brewed tea. For a waterfront restaurant overlooking the Carquinez Bridge, with entrées running around $29, I expected a little more attention to quality. My linguine tasted like what I can only describe as an upscale cafeteria meal. The tomato sauce had a noticeable heat to it that I don't remember seeing described on the menu, and the overall flavor lacked depth. I ended up needing plenty of lemon, Parmesan cheese, and butter just to bring some life into the dish. The prawn cocktail was extremely spicy and also missed the mark. Between both meals, the food simply lacked luster. There was also an odd metallic aftertaste that made me wonder whether some of the food had been sitting or prepared in industrial metal pans. I can't say for certain what caused it, but it was noticeable enough to affect the experience. The bright spots were the strawberry lemonade and the warm bread, both of which I actually enjoyed. What disappointed me most was that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy on this Saturday afternoon, so I expected the kitchen to have a little more room to put care into the plates. Instead, the food felt like it lacked love, effort, and the kind of detail that makes you feel good about spending nearly $30 per entrée. Sailor Jack's has one of those settings that should make the meal memorable. Unfortunately, this time the view carried the experience more than the food did. Would I return? Maybe but probably just to try a burger, enjoy the scenery, and keep my expectations much lower. Overall: beautiful location, underwhelming food, and definitely a meal that lacked luster.

Best of all, she keeps that coffee cup FULL--it never runs dry! Her warm, friendly service makes every visit feel personal and appreciated. Now, let's talk about the food. Joy of Eating serves some of the BEST country potatoes in town. I've tried plenty of breakfast spots throughout Vallejo, and these potatoes stand out: hot, flavorful, and perfectly satisfying. The omelets are beautifully prepared, the pancakes are delicious, and the coffee is always fresh and enjoyable. On my latest visit, I customized the Garden Omelet, which comes with spinach, tomatoes, onions, and mushrooms. I added turkey sausage and cheddar cheese, and the combination was excellent. I paired it with those incredible country potatoes and the homemade toast and that toast is absolutely OFF THE CHAIN! Add a little mixed berry jelly, and you have a breakfast worth coming back for.
