    Breakfast sandwich

The atmosphere here is really nice. It is in a cute inn and has nice seating and is clean. The people were very friendly. I was, however, disappointed with the food. We ordered a breakfast sandwich. The bread was very hard and dense and did not taste like bread that I was accustomed to for a breakfast sandwich. The chicken in the chicken has was large pieces of chicken with okra, potatoes and onions. It did not resemble a hash in my opinion. It was more like a chicken stir fry. The food did not taste bad, but it was not something that I would tell others to try.

Super cute spot to grab some breakfast or brunch. It is a little confusing to find at first but you just walk all the way straight down once you walk into the building until you can't and then make a right. You order at the counter and they give you a number you take with you and sit wherever, either indoors or outdoors. Everything is very aesthetic.Staff were very nice as well. I got an avocado toast and added their grilled steak on top. The steak was cooked perfectly but was a bit chewy. The menu is pretty simple but I would come back for the vibes and the mimosas.

Our party of 10 had a wonderful Sunday Brunch experience in the exquisitely charming back room (more like a welcoming sun room actually) today. The ambiance was bright and cheerful with light filled windows and plants throughout. We were warmly greeted by Sarah and also welcomed by Erica. Both expertly took our orders at the counter, professionally noting added options and preferences. Service was quick and we appreciated the regular check-ins by both staff. We all loved our food and drinks: The Cafe Burger Avocado Toast Grilled Steak Salad Tuna Melt Breakfast Potatoes Pomegranite Margarita Lavender Mimosa Some of our lightest eaters noticeably finished their generous portions of Avocado Toast, surprising everyone including themselves! The Grilled Steak Salad was exceptional with exquisitely fresh greens and nice portions of grilled steak. Such a wonderful family Sunday experience for food, drink, service and ambiance. Well done. Highly recommended!

I had no idea this adorable café was tucked away here, and I'm so glad I finally got to try it. I stopped in on a gloomy Sunday morning for a coffee and a pastry, and it was exactly what I needed. They were playing Christmas music and the cozy seating area created the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. I'm already looking forward to coming back with my daughter to enjoy some food and maybe a mimosa or two!

What an incredible find in my nearby city of Vallejo - in Benicia! I met up with some long time friends from elementary school with one person coming from Fairfield and the other from Oakland, so this was a great location for meeting in the middle! First off, the place is just lovely - a restored Victorian B&B tucked off the main drag and in quiet neighborhood with plentiful street parking. The option to eat outdoors in the garden on a warm winter day was lovely, but we decided on a cozy spot indoors for more privacy. It's the kind of place where you have to place your order at the counter then take your seat with your number, yet the young ladies at the cashier and coffee service were incredibly warm, welcoming, and gave enthusiastic suggestions for what was best on the menu that day, and their specials in general. I had the Farmer's hash with bacon - which was perfection - and we shared a lovely serving of delicious deviled eggs. Everyone was very pleased with the entire experience, and I can't wait to visit again - perhaps spending the night for a B&B staycation with the hubby!? If so, I'll report back!

Stepping foot into the restaurant, it gives you that old time home inn experience. Front the front door, you walk into the home and eventually find the restaurant. I really liked the decor inside. There are plenty of rooms you can choose from and also outdoor dinning. The staff was friendly. This isn't your typical restaurant. After getting our meal, there was no follow up with staff to see if I need anything refilled or just to check up on us. The food was ok, but it didn't help the prices seemed a little high for the place. This would be a nice place to hold a small wedding, but don't really plan to go back here unless prices change or the food gets better.

Very cute cafe tucked away off the main downtown street. The GPS likely will take you to the street where the inn entrance is. You can go in "backwards" through the patio seating. We were walking down 1st and followed a sign directing us 0.5 miles down a side street. This brings you to the front of the cafe. The decor is farmhouse. Lots of plants! It's warm and welcoming. This morning we ordered the breakfast plate and the farmers market hash. The price is a little steep for a casual order at the counter and take a number type of restaurant. Breakfast for two came out to about $47 after tax and tip. But the food is very tasty and fresh! I left feeling quite full. The presentation is beautiful! For example take a look at the bacon on the breakfast plate. That's quality bacon. It's not 85% fat. All the other ingredients were high quality as well. I really enjoyed the seasonal hash. It had a slight kick to it. They did not skimp on the smoked chicken. I did feel it would be worth about $20 with how loaded it was. The okra and corn gave it a nice freshness to balance out the heaviness of potatoes. Good balance of flavors and textures. For water there is a self service station with glasses and straws. You have your choice of still or sparkling water. The Cafe is a fun treat to myself when I'm feeling like a breakfast or brunch that's a little more.

My girls and I came on a Wednesday around 11 am and were able to get a seat right away! We were a large party of 10! You pay first at the counter and then find a table! We got bottomless mimosas but not everyone needs to order it! We tried the grape flavor, and it was amazing!! There's a limit of 1.5 hours for bottomless and the refill time for the drinks are slightly slow since they make the mimosas as you go, but everything else is perfect! We tried the tuna sandwich, Brussels sprouts, and avocado toast . It was all delicious and the portions were quite large! This place is super cute and the service was great! I would definitely come back again.

We had a wonderful Valentine's lunch at the café and was created by Miss S with super awesome hospitality. The rest of the staff were friendly. The food was perfectly delicious. The place was super cute. This will definitely be one of our to go places when in town.

Food was perfect. Breakfast with lemonade lavender mimosas on point! Sarah had perfect timing filling our mimosa glasses (bottomless) They gave us blankets for patio seating. Beautiful yellow patio umbrellas outside seating.

Pictures and videos don't do this place justice. It is so beautiful- you can go to Paula and have her show you the available rooms if you're thinking about staying here in the future. Believe me, you will want to, even if you're a local to spend a weekend here! All of the rooms are so beautifully designed, and there's a very relaxing patio area where you can have meals and listen to the fountain. Inside the place, you can order breakfast / brunch/ dinner. There's so many photographable areas, as each room is uniquely designed and has so much attention to detail! We tried breakfast items and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted so fresh. They hand make all of their items with homemade ingredients. Their servers are so kind and polite. You really do feel like you're home away from home here. I couldn't recommend this place enough!

Another Review from Tom and Mimi... Cannot give this place enough praise. Absolutely delicious food, well presented and good service! Mimi had a great dish of latkes with cream cheese, avocado, smoke salmon and house made pickled onions - she loved it and ate every bite. "It changed my feeling about how to eat Lox... absolutely delicious and the exact right amount too," said Mimi. I had the Breakfast plate with great bacon, potatoes, two eggs over easy and great toast and homemade strawberry jam. It was such a good plate of food,. I had a side of sausages patties, but really didn't need them. Overall, the experience was great, and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Greetings and welcome to Walt's Adventures. This is Walt and I am currently adventuring in Benicia, California. The Cafe at the Inn is the cafe linked to the Bed and Breakfast inn here in the village next to the ocean. The cafe has spacious indoor and covered outdoor dining. We were immediately directed to our table and selected our meals. All of the plates looked amazing. Their individual tastes were very good and satisfied our desires. Regrettably, minus 1 rating for the non refillable beverages and for the slightly longer arrival time. The Cafe at the Inn was a joyful eating experience and one that I recommend to anyone who desires a pause in their daily lives.

Just along the main strip of town, this place is busy. We stopped by early morning just a little after they were opened. Even mid week and there was a massive line already forming. They must be good. There's two entrance, first being the main where the front door is. Patio seating available along the sidewalk. And then the back entrance where the majority of the seating is outside. It's like a secret garden with all the trees and plants. Somewhat a treehouse feel as well. They have 2 levels with tables. Beautiful spot sitting there under the tree having a nice cup of joes and a beautiful pastries. Indoor also has some seating along the front and I believe there's a second floor right above the entrance. There's mainly one line for everything. You wait to place your order if you wanted pastries and food. I think you could just order drinks at counter if you're not getting food but don't quote me on that. Everyone was waiting together. Once you reach the top, there's the counter of fresh baked pastries that's made daily. Things do sell out pretty fast. We literally arrived not long after they open and the ham and cheese croissant was already sold out. Besides pastries, there's fresh baked bread. Coffee drinks were pretty good too. After you pick what you want, the cashier is at the end and that's where you pay. There's a counter at the back where drinks are picked up. The whole place has an open kitchen feel where you could actually see all the workers preparing the sweets. In the back kitchen, you could walk by and see the pastries chef preparing and putting together the fresh sweets. It's like you're part of the kitchen. It's a cute place and it does get busy. The locals know about this place so it a hot spot. The holiday makers know which their names is getting out there and making a big splash for them. We've been a few times while in town and each time, alway busy and great. Amazing pastries and good drink. It is on the pricer side but that's pretty much everywhere you go these days.

The corner by Huckleberry's is often full. Ive been a couple times and the quality and service have been consistently good. Of the foods I'd recommend the fried green tomatoes and fried okra for starters. They're also one of few places offering beignets. For entrees the crab cake Benedict is good. The portions are filling. Ambiance is very casual. The utensils come in a little paper pouch and the napkins are paper towels on a dowel at each table. This particular location can look a bit dim. I think it's because of the direction of the windows. It's tasty and if you've been to Huckleberry's before you won't be disappointed by this one either.

We ordered around 11:30a, there were two other parties present. We were able to order based on our dietary needs/wants as the menu offered quite a diverse array.
