I ordered the fried chicken with fried rice. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and super crunchy just how I like it! The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. I was a little worried the dream toast would be too sweet for me, but it was actually perfect not overly sweet at all, yet still satisfying enough to hit that sweet tooth. Adding more pics from our latest breakfast...I'm branching out and actually trying something new (to me) which is now part of my top 3 in no particular order: Luis' Special, Loco Moco & Chilaquiles w/chicken. All with fried rice of course. Delicious! The chilaquiles I had this morning had the right amount of spice and the chicken pieces were cooked perfectly. Our server Kenji (I hope I got his name right?) was also very attentive and friendly! He warmly welcomed us back when we sat down. Pretty decent spot. I'm a long-time Vallejo resident, and it's always nice to see a bustling breakfast place in town. Walking in even brought back some fond memories of J's Garden. The food itself was good... especially after adding a generous amount of salt, pepper, and hot sauce. Unfortunately, while we were packing up our leftovers, my friend found a hair in her food. That was definitely disappointing. Overall, it's a good place with a nice atmosphere, but it's worth giving your food a quick look before digging in. read more

First off, what a cute diner! With one of my favorite breakfast places being closed, I've been looking for a go to in Vallejo. Babs Delta Diner definitely lives up to the hype. I've gone twice so far and the one thing imma get every time is the fried rice! It's garlicky and buttery and by far one of the best I've tasted in the area. I'm only giving 4/5 stars because the biscuit was gross. It tasted freezer burned and crumbled immediately. The gravy couldn't even save it. Went with my family, including elderly parents. Made reservations since there were 8 of us (had to put down a deposit for the reservation). Good thing we did since the place was packed! The staff was super friendly and the food was really good. I had the chicken and waffles which was delicious. My sister got the potatoes instead of the fried rice with her meal. Took my dad to this restaurant with my sister for his birthday. The service was nice and the staff were friendly. The place was so cute and gave a Peanuts like theme, which I enjoyed. It was colorful and cute, definitely a place to brighten your spirit when entering the place. The food was good. The portion sizes were small. I got the French toast-half portion, which was fine. Nothing bad but nothing memorable, but decent French toast. I also got the beef bulgogi, it also was good. Nothing wrong, but nothing really memorable. The portion size was a little small. Breakfast Fusion! So nice to have so many different options. We had the loco moco and the 2 egg breakfast with chicken apple sausage. The fried rice was absolutely deliocios, the hamburger patty was fresh and cooked perfectly. The breakfast potatoes that came with the egg breakfast were crispy and seasoned well. Came here by recommendation of a foodie influencer friend after seeing their post and man did it not disappoint. My first visit was on Friday and it was so good I had to spin the block on Sunday! My bf purchased just this morning 11/29/25 for online take out. I opened the to go container and a fishy smell wafted the air. The corn beef is overly dry. Took one bite and it's like beef jerky. The flavor is completely off. I wouldn't be surprised if this had been leftover from before the Thanksgiving holiday. Thrown on the flat top in the attempt to make it look edible again. I really wanted to love this place because I love Babs in Suisun and Vons Korean food but I have to be honest I was a little disappointed. We Ordered to go and were told we would receive a text. I never received a text so 30 minutes later I came back in to wait on the bench. Staff walked by and we let them know we were waiting on our to go order. Nobody ever check on it and after a while I asked them if we would receive a text or if they would call our name. They went back to check and my order was sitting on the counter the whole time I was waiting. We received our food cold and it was very bland. I got so excited seeing a Babs Delta Diner near me!! I've always loved Babs in Suisun. It's a breakfast spot with tons of items to choose from. It seems to be half Vons and half Babs, I'm guessing Vons opens in the afternoon after Babs closes. The service is quick and friendly. I love how it looks the same, but with plenty of seating. It was great to be met by our waitress Cynthia who used to work at Bambino's in Vallejo . They use bright colorful Fiesta-ware for serving coffee and tea in and the tables had fresh flowers . My wife had the corned beef hash and potatoes crispy. I had the all meat burrito and also had potatoes crispy . My burrito was full of meat but lacked any mouthfeel. ( The bacon inside was limp. The burrito maybe could use some more seasoning. The potatoes were not as crispy as we would have liked. My wife's over medium egg was cooked perfectly and her corned beef hash was good . I was disappointed they did not have baked goods like Susuian but they apparently are adding items like Korean Fried Chicken to the menu . All in all an enjoyable experience. read more

Used to be great place for breakfast. Latest visit was a disappointment. Over 40 min wait, then another hour for food. Came for popular biscuits. They cannot be Bab's recipe any longer. They were crumbly, salty lumps. The entree portions were still huge but the prices equaled the portion. Would be nice to get half orders. Worst was the wait process. Babs Delta Dinner in Vallejo is where Vons Chicken is in the Glen Cove Safeway Plaza. It's breakfast menu is served until 2:30pm with some Korean and chicken items but your all American breakfast and even alcohol! I love their breakfast, I was a bit hungry and I opted for the Korean bbq short ribs with an over easy/medium eggs and sour bread toast which pairs well with jam. My friend got a hot cake (pancake), side of hot links, and a Philly cheesesteak with seasoned fries. They also serve Korean food and their chicken during lunch too. They painted cute snoopy murals and it was super busy with no wait on Saturday for lunch. The workers are super friendly and nice and make great recommendations. Parking is easy since it's in a shopping center. I can't wait to go back! There are so many options on the menu! read more

Hubby and I came here a few days ago just before the downpour hit town. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated immediately. The place is huge, open and spacious with lots of colors and tables an I love how you can see to the back into the kitchen. Our server took our drink orders and gave us some time to look at the menu. When she came back with my coffee and hubby's soda. I placed my order of the corned beef hash with eggs over medium and fried rice along with sourdough toast. Hubby got the four bacon, scrambled eggs with fried rice and substituted his toast for a pancake. Our food came out hot and served on huge plates like we could have just shared one plate alone!! Back to the food, I loved my food. I ended up eating most of the egg and had tons of rice and hash to take home and I tried hubby's pancake and liked that too. Hubby enjoyed his dish as well and had tons to take home with me. Finally tried Bab's here in Glen Cove. Usually go to the one in Suisun, but so glad they're in our neighborhood now! Went a little after 8 AM on a Friday morning so was seated right away, but more people were starting to arrive. I had DJ's omelette & my husband had his usual the David's Special. Just like in Suisun, the food was great tasting! Service was very good & the wait staff were polite and friendly. The interior is really cute with its homage to the Peanuts gang! Bright cheery colors & clean too! All in all it was just like visiting Bab's in Suisun without having to drive that far. My mom and I had breakfast here this Sunday morning, and unfortunately our experience was disappointing from start to finish. I ordered the Rod's Special and my mom ordered the Simply Spam Special with white rice, but after we ordered, our server didn't acknowledge us for a while, and people who sat down after us were already getting their food. When our food finally came out, mine was really salty and cold, and they completely messed up my mom's order by giving her the Spam Loco Moco with fried rice instead of the Simply Spam Special with white rice. She sent it back, but it still didn't come out correctly. On top of that, she ordered kimchi that never arrived, yet they still charged us for the incorrect dish. The layout didn't help either because the tables are super close together and the tables themselves are tiny. All of our plates and drinks could barely fit, which made the whole meal feel cramped and uncomfortable. The Snoopy theme is super cute, and I really wanted to like this place since it's so close to home, but for the price and the wait, the quality and service just weren't worth it. I've been going to Babs in Suisun for over 20 years and it never disappoints. My friend invited me to try the Babs in Vallejo. This Monday 6 April 26. The food was just ok. The portions was much smaller than the diner in Suisun. The reason I'm giving them a one star is our server stole from my friend. Our bill was $47.52 my friend put it on her card. I left an $8.00 cash tip. My friend looked at her bank transaction and was charged $56.21. A tip was added to the bill. When she called management excuse the. Server was was new. That's no excuse. The server name on the bill is Bibi. Beware!!! Check your receipts to make sure it matches your bank statement. This is unacceptable! read more
