My husband and I came here excited to try some authentic Tennessee BBQ and everything was honestly so good. I got the brisket with baked beans and mac & cheese, while my husband got the chicken with green beans and baked beans. First off... the brisket was SO tender and juicy. It paired perfectly with the BBQ sauce and those baked beans? OH MY GOD. The baked beans were seriously the star of the meal for me.. sweet, smoky, flavorful, and completely addicting. I could've eaten a whole bowl by myself The mac & cheese was also creamy and delicious, just solid comfort food all around. My husband loved his chicken too. Super juicy, flavorful, and not dry at all which is always a win with BBQ chicken. I also tried the Tennessee Sour and let me just say... they do not play around with drinks out here It was really good, but one more and I probably would've been done for the night lol. The hospitality here was amazing. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and helpful which made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we'd come back to anytime we're in Nashville again. Thank you for such a great first BBQ experience in Tennessee! :)

What a disappointment!!!! Brisket was moist but had no flavor, the hoe cakes were bland, the hush puppies were dry. The rib were good as long as you put sauce on them . We also got pecan pie and fudge pie. The pecan was ok, but the fudge pie was gritty and pastie. We also got a root beer which was flat. We asked the guy who brought our food if we could get it replaced and he just stood there like he didn't understand. Then said I don't know and walked away. Terrible experience. So sad.

Baked beans - solid Potato salad - I'd get it again Coleslaw - mid Pork rinds - I'd get them again, kids loved them. Pimento cheese - decent but not super special. Great spot for bbq but was expecting really amazing as the "best bbq in Nashville " and it was just "pretty solid" spot, I'll still give it a 5 stars though. If I came back I'd buy a full rack of ribs with baked beans, potato salad and Mac.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find out they don't serve brisket at all, and since I arrived at 4:00 PM, they were completely sold out of ribs until 5:00 PM. Not wanting to wait around for an hour, I pivoted and ordered the smoked chicken, baked beans, and french fries. Here is how the meal stacked up: * The Smoked Chicken: This was the star of the show. It was incredibly good, and I'm pretty sure they gave me a generous half-chicken. Not sure what type of seasoning they use but it's a pretty good dry rub. For a total of $20 for the whole meal, I think the portion made it worth the price. * The Sauces: I paired the chicken with their hot barbecue sauce, and it definitely has a real kick to it! I absolutely loved it, but if you aren't big on heat, they do have a mild option available. * The Baked Beans: Very flavorful and loaded with real chunks of bacon. Word of warning: they serve them piping hot. They were probably boiling when they went into the Styrofoam cup, and I almost burnt my tongue lol. I had to let them cool down for at least 10 minutes before diving in, but they were worth the wait. * The French Fries: The weakest link of the meal. You can definitely tell they aren't homemade - they seem like standard frozen fries that are just deep-fried and tossed with some salt. The Takeaway: If you're looking for a traditional BBQ joint with a massive variety of sides, sausage, and brisket, you might find the menu a bit limited. The variety isn't massive, but what they do do, they do well.

I had the brisket tacos, which were flavorful, though a little dry. I am giving grace here because it was takeout and possibly was much more moist prior to transport. I did like how the toppings brightened things up: cheese, slaw, pico de Gallo, bean salad, and fried jalapeños. I also had the Nashville hot link, a smoked sausage with house made spicy pimento cheese and pickled jalapeños. It was indeed pleasantly spicy. We shared some fries, which were hot, crisp, and well seasoned. They also have ribs, wings, bbq nachos and fries, fried pickles, bbq chicken and turkey, various sandwiches and platters. They also offer Nashville's staple hot chicken in platter, sandwich, and taco form. Catfish is another option, in all the same varieties. Sides: cornbread, Mac & cheese, baked beans, green beans (in bone broth and bacon). Cold sides such as bean salad, potato salad, Cole slaw. They also have a couple desserts and salads available, as well as a kids menu. Very affordable, as we got meals for 15 people for only 230 dollars.

The sides were kind of meh. The green beans tasted like they were from a can and I think the noodles for my Mac and cheese were too firm. But it was still good. I'd go again just get different sides. Oh and the banana pudding was great!

Absolutely the Best BBQ in Nashville - Honey Fire BBQ on Sawyer Brown Rd is a Must-Try!…read more I recently visited Honey Fire BBQ in the Bellevue area and left completely impressed. From the moment you walk in, the place feels welcoming with its clean, modern vibe and that cozy wrap-around covered porch--perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The star of the show is their slow-smoked meats paired with that signature sweet heat sauce. The brisket was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, the ribs had the perfect bark and fall-off-the-bone texture, and the pulled pork was juicy and delicious. Their house-made sauces (especially the honey-based ones with just the right touch of tangy sweetness and a little kick) elevate everything--I've never tasted BBQ quite like this Nashville twist on tradition. Sides were equally outstanding: the baked beans had a great depth of flavor, the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, and the sweet corn pudding was a standout. Everything felt fresh, generous, and made with care. Service was friendly and efficient--true Southern hospitality that made us feel like family. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, this spot delivers every time. If you're in Nashville (or driving through Bellevue), do yourself a favor and head to Honey Fire BBQ on Sawyer Brown Rd. It's become my new go-to for outstanding barbecue. Highly recommend. I will definitely return and bring friends. From our family to yours--thank you, Honey Fire!

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

I've been to…read moreall of the Edley's locations around Nashville, but this one is by far the best for families, mostly because of the outdoor play area. Parking was super easy, and the woman at the counter was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, and the restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of tables and room to spread out, which is always appreciated when dining with little kids. My kids played outside while we waited for our food, but the food came out quickly. The kids' meals are some of the best values in town. One tip: the bun on the kids' cheeseburger is huge compared to the patty. I asked if they could add an extra patty, and they did for just $1. After removing some of the bun, it made for a much better burger and still kept the meal incredibly affordable. The spicy chicken tacos are also some of the best tacos in town. Our family of five ate for about $50. We usually buy Edley's gift cards at Costco, so our actual cost was closer to $40. It's refreshing to have a restaurant in Nashville that truly welcomes families while still serving great food. Highly recommend for anyone dining with kids.

The nachos were super MID. I got the Country Salad with the brisket. This was by far the worst "brisket" I've ever had. It was super dry and extremely tough. It really seemed like a horrible chuck roast more than anything. The cut was so bad, that I'm convinced that somebody gave it to me like that on purpose, as some kind of cruel joke. Any real brisket person would be ashamed to serve such a thing. I did not send it back because I don't complain about food, and then trust the people to prepare something else without tampering with it. I just take the L. But If I can keep somebody else from having this happen to them, I'll take that instead. I left ALL that food in there. Money gone. I'm poor, so do you know how bad food has to be for me not to eat it? Especially food I PAID for. I wish I had taken pics of it, because my description here can't do it justice because I want to cuss really bad, and probably talk about the cook's mama. But I'm classy, so I won't. I'll put it like this... I wish I had more hands so I could give Edley's FOUR thumbs down.
