Overall: WOW. I honestly want to hide this place away from everyone, but it is SO SO SO good. I never had a Texas BBQ x Thai curry fusion before here. I love their signature curry -- super great portion too, really filling and just delicious. I feel very lucky to have a location here in TN! Service: Wonderful staff, and they bring the food out hot and ready! Ambiance: I love the pink house! It's so cute inside and I like their patio area too where they're literally slow smoking the BBQ.

I have visited Curry Boy BBQ multiple times and have always left very very full. It is so cute outside which makes it a fun and unique spot for me to take friends when they visit. I mean I haven't heard of many places that fuse Thai curry and Texas BBQ.. Staff is very helpful and even worked with my sister to find something else when everything we ordered was too spicy for her (she is a real wimp so don't stress). Serving sizes are huge so you can definitely share. I wouldn't miss out on the green curry potato salad! Also one time they had a rib special and I still dream of it..

Thai Indian bbq fusion. Super unique combo and cool vibe / staff I liked the pork sausage curry best- had a curry queso which was rly creamy and unique. Magic mushroom lacked mushroom flavor but curry flavor was very good. Creamed corn was so unique and flavorful. Cold noodles had an amazing homemade chili sauce. Overall super comforting and a very wintery/ comfort food/ under the weather type of meal

this place has to be top 3 for me here in Nashville. Omg it is so good, it combines the best of texas bbq and Thai food. two very rich cuisines that i wouldn't expect to work well together but holy crap they doooo!!! the meat was tender (a bit fatty for me but that's okay) and the curry was spicy and savory. it is so yummy and flavorful and literally just comforting. I got their brisket green curry that was market price and SO WORTH IT. i need to come back and get another curry dish because they do it so right here. although im not sure i can go and not get the brisket green curry... If you're reading this, this is your sign to go!!!

Curry Boys... I can't say enough good things about this place! The food, service, and vibes are always top-notch. It's easy to find in East Nashville...just look for the bright pink house! I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon recently, and it was packed. We ordered at the bar and had our food in less than five minutes! Everything I've tried here has been incredible. They smoke all the meats in-house (YUM), and everything on the menu is unique and packed with flavor. You can't go wrong with the Pulled Pork Nachos, Brisket Smoke Show, or the Tony Porker. The rich curry paired with the tender smoked brisket is mind-blowing. The sides are just as good, and don't skip the Ube Cheesecake! There's a small parking lot beside the building and another free lot a short walk down the street. Parking can be a little tricky during busy times, but it's worth it. Seating inside is limited but comfortable. I love the cozy, homey feel, friendly staff, and unique menu!

The best little pink house in the neighborhood with super solid eats! Went for lunch, had the burger. Very tasty burger. Loved the pickles! Great potato salad. Loved the pulled pork curry with noodles. Beware it's got some heat. Shared the queso. Go check them out! Parking can be a challenge in this area. They do have about 6-7 complimentary spots in their lot. Big perk!!

Curry Boys has been on my list for a while now, and it completely lived up to the hype! The staff here is SO nice and helpful, answering my many questions. I went with two friends and none of us have much experience with curry, so we all followed the employee's rec and got the chicken dish with yellow curry. My two friends got it with noodles and really enjoyed that. I got it with rice and ate about half, and the leftovers the next day were even better! It's also in the coolest little pink house, with a lovely covered patio in the back. I can't wait to come back and try more.

This is one of the best fusion restaurants I've ever been to. Texas-style BBQ and Thai curry just makes so much sense together. I've eaten Curry Boys twice in the last month, and I'm still scheming on a way to get back over here for lunch once more before the end of the year! You can order for delivery or pickup UberEats, BUT here's a hot tip. They have a weekday lunch menu that's only available in-store at the moment. If you stop in right as they open, you shouldn't have much of a wait at all for a to-go order! The cashier was so friendly - and the atmosphere inside really feels like you're in someone's home. I had to get my hands on their pulled pork sandwich for lunch, and it did not disappoint. I also ordered the Tony Porker Bowl, which is a green Thai curry paired with their signature smoky pulled pork. Yum! All of the sides are incredible, but I especially love the potato salad. I didn't get the Ube Cheesecake this time around, but it's one of my favorite desserts in town.

Unbelievable! Spectacular flavor profile - truly a creative culinary masterpiece. Who would have thought Texas BBQ and Thai food would be the greatest duo! I've been dying to try Curry Boys since they opened and great things come to those who wait. I can't think of a better way to end my Monday! We ordered the Curry Queso Chips, Brisket Smoke Show, Curry Creamed Corn and the Ube Cheesecake we split this and it was PERFECT! The Brisket Smoke Show was definitely shareable! The brisket was giving a stew vibe the curry flavor was warming during the cool weather days, it was very hearty in the best way without making you frel too stuffed. The curry creamed corn was delicious I put it on everything - the chips and queso and the Brisket curry! The Ube Cheesecake was the cherry on top! As an Ube fan I was in love! Standing ovation for the kitchen and the chef who created our meal!! Thank you for bringing flavor and comfort to East Nashville, only love for this place! Notes: There are outdoor heaters if you sit on the patio and it's covered (it was raining when we came and the we sat outside and we were warm!), parking can be a bit tricky but stay patient because you might get lucky like we did!

The pork belly curry bowl was incredible as was the pulled pork curry. Highly recommend for something unique!

Finally checked out Curry Boys BBQ in East Nashville, and I'm so glad I did. It's tucked inside this adorable pink house with a fun, vibrant vibe and a big patio. The menu mixes Thai flavors with Texas-style BBQ, and it somehow works. We started with the smoked edamame. For mains, the Brisket Smoke Show was a standout and the Good Luck Cluck had super flavorful smoked chicken with creamy yellow curry. Drinks are solid too. They had some creative cocktails and even Thai staples like Singha beer. And the ube cheesecake? Don't skip it. Between the food, the fun atmosphere, and the friendly service, this spot is a total win. Definitely adding Curry Boys BBQ to my East Nashville favorites list.

The food slapped, the setting was sick, and the service was sweet. What a cool concept to combine Thai curry with American BBQ. The brisket was my fav meat, and I preferred the egg noodles to the rice. The pulled pork with panang curry was my husband's favorite. We couldn't leave without trying the ube cheesecake which reminded me of the marshmallows from a box of lucky charms cereal (in a good way). Super cool!

I dined at Curry Boys BBQ on Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 1 pm. Curry Boys accomplishes a perfect marriage between Southeast Asian-style curries with Southern BBQ. I ordered the missing link, which comes with a pork sausage and a creamy Penang curry. The smokiness of the sausage paired well with the creaminess of the curry. The curry itself had a decent amount of spices. The restaurant looked like a restaurant took over someone's house. It had a nice homey feel to it. There is limited parking that may pose some inconvenience if folks do decide to dine here on a busier time. Staff was friendly and very nice.

For the longest time, Bringle's was my absolute favorite in town, but Edley's may have just managed to take the crown. I almost feel like I'm cheating on Mr. Bringle by saying that, but as he famously put it, "You don't have to hate somebody else's barbecue to like mine." My default order at any top-tier joint is either a brisket plate or a multi-meat combo platter with brisket as the anchor. Edley's plates come properly equipped with two sides and a slice of cornbread. Where they really set themselves apart, though, is the menu flexibility: -The Add-Ons: You can throw on a $5 upcharge to add an extra 3 oz of meat or a jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage. -Burnt Ends: Edley's offers burnt ends, which is a bit of a rarity in town and something you don't easily find over at Jack's or Bringle's. If they're available when you order, grab them. Price-wise, Edley's isn't cheap, but it's far from overly expensive. It sits at fair market value, costing roughly what you'd pay for a comparable meal at any of the other major players in Nashville. The meats are high quality, wonderfully smoked, and packed with deep flavor. Beyond the rare burnt ends, the sauces here are what truly elevate the meal. Across the board, Edley's house sauces--from their classic red to their white sauce--are probably my personal favorites in the city. Between Jack's, Bringle's Smokin' Oasis, and Edley's, you genuinely cannot go wrong--Nashville barbecue is in great hands. But right now? Edley's holds my top spot. I also had the Nashville hot link, a smoked sausage with house made spicy pimento cheese and pickled jalapeños. It was indeed pleasantly spicy. We shared some fries, which were hot, crisp, and well seasoned. They also have ribs, wings, bbq nachos and fries, fried pickles, bbq chicken and turkey, various sandwiches and platters. They also offer Nashville's staple hot chicken in platter, sandwich, and taco form. Catfish is another option, in all the same varieties. Sides: cornbread, Mac & cheese, baked beans, green beans (in bone broth and bacon). Cold sides such as bean salad, potato salad, Cole slaw. They also have a couple desserts and salads available, as well as a kids menu. Very affordable, as we got meals for 15 people for only 230 dollars.

I found myself over at Bellevue for dinner, 2 hours before my hockey game. I wanted quality food…read morebut not super carb heavy but also not something that could potentially wreck my stomach. After all, can you imagine having digestive problems while playing hockey? I love barbecue so I thought I'd try this place. I walked in and it wasn't at all busy at 5:32. However when I finished my order, the line was out the door. I asked the cashier what was good and the manager (maybe owner) walked over and I asked him. I wanted ribs or brisket, but needed a 2nd opinion. He said he would choose brisket because theirs is USDA Prime and he would put it against any other barbecue restaurant in Tennessee. Those are some bold words. So I ordered the brisket platter (fatty portion) with green beans and cinnamon baked apples. What I received was 3 good sized portions (1/2 pound) of fatty brisket. The meat was tender, melt in your mouth without an overbearing amount of fat clumped together. The bark was salty and very peppery. It was actually good enough to eat without a sauce. Speaking of, there was only one sauce on the table, so I used that. It was a sweet sauce, definitely honey-based but not overly sweet like other honey-based sauces I've had in the past. The thing is I love everything honey-related, so I would definitely buy this to take home. It was so good, I was scavenging for brisket fibers on my plate. So I praised the brisket but I think the shocker was the green beans. These were hands down, the best green beans I've ever had...ever. Salty, tender, peppery, with chunks of meat and fat, sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. Who would have thought that a side could be that good? Last but not least, the Cinnamon Baked Apples. I love baked/fried apples. Something about the tart and sweetness brings me back every time. The apples were soft, but not mushy. I would have liked them to be a little more tender and more slices of apples. I think there was more sauce than apples but nevertheless, they were great. Overall I'm glad I visited Honeyfire for the first time. I'm here often (near Bellevue) so I'll definitely be coming back again and again.

Parking was super easy, and the woman at the counter was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, and the restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of tables and room to spread out, which is always appreciated when dining with little kids. My kids played outside while we waited for our food, but the food came out quickly. The kids' meals are some of the best values in town. Our family of five ate for about $50. We usually buy Edley's gift cards at Costco, so our actual cost was closer to $40. It's refreshing to have a restaurant in Nashville that truly welcomes families while still serving great food. Highly recommend for anyone dining with kids.
