Really enjoyed our first visit to baby's. The exterior is one of the coolest in all of Indy. We came on a beautiful today and was able to sit on their spacious screened in patio. I've been to Baby's before but it's been a minute since I've been in. Since I've been in they have done a little bit of remodeling and reworked the way the restaurant runs. There is now a counter where you place your order and they will bring it to your table. I thought this worked really well! When I dined this time, I had the Strut burger with fries and the bar queen cocktail. They were both very good! The cocktail was very refreshing. The burger was really filling and I wasn't even able to finish it all. I was with my friend who is vegan, and she was so pleased with with the options. Pink and boozy and cool oh my! Had a great first experience at Baby's tonight and I can't wait to hang in their outdoor space when it's warm out. First things first they have a great covid protocol in place. Tables are spaced out, masks are a must and they even take your temperature upon arrival. The outdoor patio has been converted with tables and heaters to create more space! I created my own burger tonight and it was a hit! If you aren't a CYO type there's plenty of sandwiches, Mac and cheese and salads you can pick from. Tonight I had the veggie patty with a side of onion rings. My significant other also did a CYO with French fries. The food was so good and reasonably priced. While you may come here for the food it's even better for drinks. Not only does Baby's have a beautiful full bar they specialize in boozy shakes and milkshakes. Plenty of parking and such pleasant staff. First time visiting Baby's and we are already planning what to order next time we go! First off, upon arriving they check your temperature before seating you. Tables were spaced out with enough space between each other and everyone was wearing masks. We started with a drink, I had the Bye Felicia, it was refreshing and hit the spot. I love the names of all the drinks! My husband had a barrel pick bourbon that you can only find at Baby's. The burgers were to die for! My husband got the specialty burger and loved it. What a cool place!!! My mom, brother and I try new restaurants once a month and this place is one of our favorites!! The cocktail list has the best bands for their drinks. All 3 of our drinks were different alcohol based and we loved them all. We had to try as much food as possible. The best part of it all is that they have their own parking lot (free) which is so convenient and such a relief considering parking downtown can sometimes be a tricky! As soon as you walk in the host will take your temperature and take you to a table! They do have outdoor seating and it's heated which works perfect with this chilly weather! We came in on a Friday afternoon for lunch. It was moderate busy. We sat outside on the covered patio. We were immediately greeted by our server. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. She came back a few minutes later, we placed our order. About 30 minutes later, she informed us our food was next up to be cooked. Someone called off in the kitchen so it was taking a little longer. About another 15 minutes goes by and our food comes out hot and fresh. It was really good. I got the baked potato fries and add a crispy chicken breast. Would definitely recommend. It was a lot of food tho! I couldn't even finish half of it. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about this joint. My expectations were high and I am so happy that my experience with Baby's was all that I had hoped for. This environment is definitely picturesque and sooo trendy and cute. I found myself taking pictures of so many little details (like the bathroom wallpaper lol) because the overall branding is just immaculate. This was a great meal! My wife and I brought our niece and she was so excited to come back as she had been here before. She got the single smash burger and fries and it was perfect size for her to eat it in two meals. My wife and I tend to each get something and split it so we can try two items. We decided on the Swiss this way burger and added bacon to it and then the buffao chicken sandwich. They both were great! The Buffalo sauce was spicy but not too spicy and the sauce, cheese and bun just melded together and it was scrumptious. The burger had great flavor too and it was not overly greasy. Highly recommended by my Chiropractor who is plant based most of the time. This place must be amaze balls. I showed up with high expectations, Baby's did not disappoint. The Smash Burger is thicker than I anticipated, winning!! The burger was flavorful, tender, and juicy. I love that they have multiple cheese options, not everyone likes American Cheese. I appreciated the choice of bun too, it withstood the weight of the patties and moisture from the meat and condiments. I also had Talbots Street Fries..they made me happy dance. The fries were crispy on the outside and creamy inside..that's how all fries should be IMO. The addition of bacon, cheese, and pickled jalapeños are a great addition. I did have the white BBQ on the side, it was interesting. I also enjoyed the outdoor interactive art installment. With the pandemic going on it was nice to enjoy being outside and enjoy tasty food. Like my chiropractor, I think this place is great. Great burgers, fries, and wonderful staff. They were very helpful in answering our questions (called), let us know we could sit outside if we wanted to, and brought us water to go with our sodas. *I hear they also make amazing shakes. Great little restaurant in the Old Northside! Milkshakes are delicious, we ordered the chocolate and strawberry. They're just the right size so you still have room for your meal, but if that's all you're getting I'd definitely order 2! We had the single burger and Mac n cheese. Both really tasty! Great portion sizes and the Mac n cheese had really good flavor! We sat outside on the patio, there's a curtain hanging on the west side to protect you from the wind. COVID Update: Our temperatures were taken at the door, all the wait staff was wearing masks. We scanned a QR code to see the menus on our phones. What's a birthday without a drag brunch?! We brought in my little sister's birthday with a lot fun. Baby's hosts a drag brunch on the second Sunday of each month and it's a lot of fun. Tickets are $5 and sell out very fast. When we first arrived we were seated at a huge table to accommodate our large party. The space is so pretty. We started with a few cocktails and mimosas before the show starts. During the drag brunch there's a preselected menu. This time we got loaded fries, chicken sandwich served with a salad and a shake for dessert. The food was really good. Now about the drag show!!!!! I absolutely loved these queens. They were so entertaining and I loved the music selection. The host was so fun and very engaging. The show is family friendly so you can bring the kids! Baby's is such a fun atmosphere. The decor is so bright and the draft cocktails have clever names such as Bye Felicia and Dat Booty Tho. I tried the Festivus cocktail, which was super refreshing. We stopped in around 5:30 on a Wednesday evening and sat on the covered patio. To our surprise, the restaurant quickly filled up and since there is little noise dampening on the covered patio, it got VERY loud. This is a family-friendly restaurant so be prepared for kids who may be unaware they're not using their "indoor voices". We started with the vegan mushrooms with ranch dressing on the side. These were a disappointment - some were ice cold in the middle and some of the breading was not thoroughly cooked. Our server was slammed, and I imagine the kitchen was too, so we only ate the smaller shrooms which we found were hot and cooked all the way through. For my entrée I ordered the Bam! Burger with an Impossible patty and fries. These were both winners. The bun and burger complemented each other perfectly, and the cheeses and Bam! sauce tied it all together. I would recommend getting a side of one of Baby's sauces if you order fries instead of boring ol' ketchup. The white BBQ sauce is a creamy horseradish pepper sauce and was great with my fries. I would definitely come back to Baby's, but would opt to sit inside the main dining room next time (or at the VERY adorable bar). read more

It's been a while since I have had a great burger and a boozy milkshake, but Baby's was a wonderful experience with the most terrific burgers and milkshakes. The baby's strut burger was very good and the onion rings were to die for. The boozy milkshake I chose was a chocolate shake with peanut butter whiskey. It was excellent and the best milkshake I have ever had in a long time. The customer service was the best service I have had from a restaurant in a long time. The outdoor patio was very nice and given the pandemic we are going through right now, the restaurant still made the experience very enjoyable. My daughter's fried chicken sandwich looked overcooked and she did not eat it. Mac n cheese was ok. My wife had boneless buffalo wings, they were on par with BW3, sadly. What a neat spot! It's right by Herron High School. Stopped in for dinner before a meeting. Service was super fast! The decor was, different. Bright colors everywhere, the staff was super attentive. I got the Baby Strut burger. Very tasty sauce, bacon and jelly, yummy. Plus I got to have lettuce with tomatoes on my burgers. The onion rings were golden! I was full before I ever started on the burger. I could see they had an expansive list of alcoholic beverages and shakes but since I was headed to a meeting I had to refrain. Living in Herron Morton, Baby's was easily one of the best things to come to the neighborhood while I lived there. Honestly, such a bummer that I moved away from the delicious broasted chicken. As someone that cooks often and strives for healthy meals... Baby's chicken just can't be beaten. I am also a sucker for their strut burger. Definitely a calorie splurge but it is worth every bite. Before Covid, I also loved to bring guests there because the atmosphere is so fun! What a fun joint! So cute and inviting from the outside. Baby's has an outdoor park for kids and pets, twinkle lights, the whole package. I can tell it'll be a hit this summer with that nice outdoor space and indoor/outdoor area. I had heard lots of great things about Baby's so decided to give it a try this weekend and it did not disappoint! It's very much a modern day diner, with a bright neon sign, booths and a gorgeous bar top. Upon entering, the staff were incredibly friendly. Since we were newbies, they were very informative of their concept, favorites, etc. I immediately noticed their patio, which is covered with heaters for the winter, and cannot wait to go back in the warmer months. The menu really offers something for everyone, with burgers, chicken, and veggie options. There are lots of alcohol options as well, from seasonal cocktails to boozy milkshakes. I decided on the grilled chicken sans bread and it was amazing. My husband said the burger was great as well. We shared fries, which were cooked perfectly. Baby's is bumpin'! With a mini outdoor playground for kids in the front, a neon pink sign in the window, and a big patio with heat lamps, you'll be sure to notice it if you're driving by. This restaurant was highly-anticipated for two big reasons: the owners were the same ones who opened the swanky Ball & Biscuit bar on Mass Ave. It's also in an area of town that's starting to become developed and get more attention for incredible, local businesses. Love it! I was immediately impressed by how friendly both our hostess and server were. They knew their stuff, had smiles on their faces and were incredibly helpful. Bonus points! The interior was gorgeous too. With sparkly pink seats, neon signs and an old-fashioned-diner atmosphere, we felt good just being there. I ordered a single smashburger with lettuce, onion and tomato, and a side of fries. I also got the white BBQ sauce for the fries and that was the star of the show!! The burger was pretty good (next time I want to try the double smashburger for more meat) and while thicker fries are more my jam, they were great to dip into our yummy chocolate milkshake.
