Where do I start. I've been consistently coming here for the past few years. This time around, I sat at the bar where I met Cesar and Matthew. They were the perfect bartenders. I went to for the 90 minute beer and wine. The drinks were exceptional. The service and conversation was stimulating and fun. I brought one of my best friends for her first time and she is now obsessed. She wants to be a regular. I am not thrilled to soon become a biweekly/monthly regular due to there service. read more

I went out with my girlfriend and her sister to this place on a weekend evening in which they both have said amazing things about this place. We ordered a margarita pizza, Bacari fries, and the bacari Mac and cheese for the table while we also had our own separate dishes, they both had a burger and I had the flat iron steak. They gave us the pizza, Mac and cheese, and fries first which is awesome. However, I was pretty disappointed. Firstly, I don't know if it's supposed to be this way because I'm not a pizza expert but the pizza was a thin crust pizza but had a lot of flop. So much so that when it flops all of the pizza just spills onto the plate. But when I did eat a whole slice of pizza the taste didn't really blow me away. It's just a regular pizza. The Mac and cheese wasn't really good. You might assume a thick creamy and cheesy Mac and cheese when you think of Mac and cheese but when we consumed it none these elements were present. We got a huge mouthful of a smokiness flavor. We didn't really finish it after we each had two spoon fulls or so. The fries were good thank god. But also it's a bit difficult to mess up with fries. The fries had gravy and an egg on it with some garlic seasoning on it. Also the fries were way bigger last time my girlfriend and her sister went but inflation probably. Now when we received the dishes that we ordered for ourselves we got them at completely different times. My girlfriend got her burger first then 5 minutes later her sister got her burger. Then about 15ish minutes or so later I finally received my steak. My steak when I saw it I was pretty disappointed. I had about 7 maybe 8 small cuts of steak. But it did have 4 thin slices of zucchini to come with it. The steak was good because they have it on top of some sauce they use. But that's really it. I guess inflation is hitting them pretty hard if they can't even give me thicker slices of zucchini or maybe a bit more zucchini. I don't know but the whole point is $17 or so dollars for a "flat iron steak" with maybe like 2 ounces of steak is highway robbery. TLDR: This place is low key a disappointment read more

Visited Bacari with a friend and had one of the best dining experiences I've probably ever had in LA! We stumbled across this establishment while we were exploring the Americana, since we wanted to give the restaurants here a try. We spoke to the hosts who said that it'd be a 25 minute wait and they'd text us when a table was available. We strolled around the Americana awhile and viewed the menu since we had some time. Not even 10 minutes had passed when we got a notification saying our table was ready! Our first impression coming in was that Bacari is so trendy, modern, and lively! Almost every table in the place was filled and they had tons of patio seating -- but a limited number of tables within the restaurant itself. (it's also super dark inside, but was definitely a vibe) We got seated outside and it was decorated beautifully! There were twinkle lights and greenery (garland?) strung all around, along with candles on each table. It was definitely giving a romantic vibe! But after seeing the variety of people -- I found it's also the perfect spot for either an intimate group setting or for catching up with a friend. We got right to ordering the Margherita Pizza, Tripoline Pasta, and Noa's Cauliflower! It's important to note that Bacari is tapas style, so the portions will be small and everything is meant to be shared. The service here is a 10/10, everyone was so sweet and helpful! They came back to check on us numerous times and had made sure that my friend who has a food allergy was well taken care of. Now for the food itself.....delicious! My friend and I loved each item and we were already pretty stuffed after sharing our plates, though we only ordered a few dishes! It's definitely more on the pricey side for the small portions of food they offer, but I'd say it's definitely worth a try! Always had good experience at Bacari except for today. We got an older gentleman as our server. The food was good as normal but the service was not on point. Our street corn that was supposed to be served as an appetizer was served towards the end. The server was hard to get a hold of, he was being way more attentive to other tables than us. and the cup of ice that I got for my bottled coke was half melted. On top of it all they claimed to validate my parking and it turns out that they didn't. read more

I made reservations for party of 4 and I had to change my reservation due to an emergency and they were able to accommodate my request. The food is tapas style, smaller portions but it was nice that we were able to share several dishes. We ordered Bacari burger with bacon and top bun, pork belly, shawarma, brussel sprouts, pesto dip - I forgot the actual name, best cake, and bread pudding. All the food was delicious. The Bacari burger is open burger so it doesn't have a top bun unless you ask for it. Pork belly was grilled with sweet soy sauce like sauce and a squeeze of lemon - the combination was delicious. The shawarma wasn't over powering with sauce and it complimented the other dishes. Overall, I think this place is great and I enjoyed the variety they had. read more

If you're looking for a good, upscale restaurant with a large selection of food, good drinks & a nice outdoor seating area... this is it! It is perfect for happy hour as a group can split lots of Tapas style dishes. Our server recommended the Stuffed Mushrooms, Glazed Pork Belly and Burrata Caprese. They were all great but the STUFFED MUSHROOMS were absolutely AMAZING! I'm not even a huge mushroom fan, but the pesto-like sauce was insane. While I'm familiar with other Bacari locations, I tried the Glendale location for the the first time recently and had a great experience! What stood out the most was the excellent service; as soon as we were seated, our server was friendly and provided prompt attention. Throughout the meal, she checked in repeatedly and left us feeling very welcomed. The outside seating was comfortable and provided a lot of opportunities for people watching on the sidewalk. My friend and I shared a variety of dishes including the rainbow beets, Brussels sprouts, and the shawarma tacos. The beets were a colorful combo of roasted slices, and the tacos were well-seasoned with tender chicken. read more

Disappointing experience. We decided to celebrate my birthday at this location since we've never been there. It was an hour drive for us. We visited both the Sherman Oaks and Silverlake locations in the past and enjoyed the food and hospitality. They offered free dessert for my daughter's birthday with a smile! We mentioned that we were celebrating my birthday after they asked however, they didn't care to offer us a dessert or to comp the one we ordered ($13). Why ask if your guests are celebrating anything? What's the point? They even had "Mom Birthday" printed on the receipt/check. We were 3 adults. The bill was $216 before tips. The staff/our waiter were great. The food was below average compared to the other two locations. So, a scoop of ice cream with a candle, on the house, would have been a kind gesture. Last night we celebrated my birthday. We weren't quite sure what to order so we asked our lovely waitress Olivia for suggestions. She asked if we had allergies and then gave us recommendations. I love the bacari franchise and this location did not disappoint! Came here to grab a drink and a quick bite. Literally outside of Americana, there is a bunch of things to do. Seating inside is quite small but there's plenty of seats outside which was perfect for the weather and just people watching lol. The hostess and server was amazing and went over and beyond to make the experience even better. Anyways, I had to get my espresso martini fix and had to pair it with some shawarma taco and bacon and double brie pizza. The best pizza on the menu if you ask me! Big fan of this spot! I've been here with a small group for a mini-reunion, on a girls date following pedis, and even wandered in here solo one day (something I NEVER do!) Each time was fantastic! The tapas are really reasonably priced, delicious, and are super fun to share! The drinks and food are all sooo yummy!! When I came here solo, I sat at the bar, and enjoyed a solo outing, while gabbing with a girlfriend on the phone. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I haven't tried the outside seating yet, but the bar seating and inside spots are very nice, despite being small and quaint. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a good drink, or a quick bite. Highly recommend if you're in the area, but worth the drive even if you aren't! And just a heads up to my single ladies: I've seen some handsome men every time I've been here.
