    Our Anniversary dessert
    Pat O.

Late review from April 29, 2026 We ate here for the 1st for our wedding anniversary. We were seated immediately in the beautiful patio. Great seating design. No one was sitting next to another party. We shared the bruschetta, which was delicious, even though the toasted bread was soggy. My husband got the gnocchi with pesto and loved it. I had the raw baby artichoke salad, with lemon vinegarette, and capellini with marinara. I loved the salad and enjoyed the pasta, as well. Service was perfect, even with 4 parties of over 20 people. For dessert I ordered a lemon meringue tart with raspberries and the waiter also brought us a Happy Anniversary dessert. A very nice dining experience for our special day.

Ca' Del Sole in Toluca Lake has been serving Italian cuisine since 1994. I have been here several times over the years and it has never disappointed me. We just had a Sunday night dinner here with my son, and yet again it was a great experience. The service here is always good. We were greeted and seated by their manager Ever, and Oscar was our server. We got our bread basket and it came with two different breads (both delicious) along with some olive tapenade that was equally delicious. I ordered the Osso Bucco (48.75) which was a braised veal shank served with saffron risotto. I hadn't had veal in a very long time and it really hit the spot. It was juicy, tender, and succulent. The risotto was also delicious. My son had the Arugula Salad with Salmon ($23.95) and he said he liked it and that the portion was enough. It came with mango, onion, tomato, goat cheese, lemon dressing and balsamic reduction. For dessert we had their Panna Cotta and I honestly have to say this is the BEST Panna Cotta EVER! So smooth, silky, decadent and light at the same time. It's truly DIVINE!!! One of their most popular desserts. We LICKED the plate. They were playing some lovely Latin guitar music over the speakers as we enjoyed our dinner on their beautiful patio. There is also a bar available with TVs and they have a Happy Hour. Restaurant is very clean along with their bathrooms. They offer valet parking for $7 or you can find metered/residential parking nearby. Definitely check out this lovely restaurant if you've never been here before. It's a great place for date night, birthdays, or simply a nice dinner!

Location 4 stars: On the east side of Cahuenga Blvd in Toluca Lake, south of the 134 Freeway and Moorpark Street, just North of the Los Angeles River. Paid Valet parking only. There are some metered spots nearby also. Venue 4 stars: Full indoor bar area, indoor tables and booths and outdoor tables in a quaint rustic patio. The patio is covered with nets (I suppose to keep leaves and birds out) but not rain proof. Service 4 stars: Polite and attentive. Food 4 stars: Nice menu of mostly Italian fare. We had the Tuna Tartare, the Fritto Misto (Calamari) and the Crescione Salad as appetizers. All were very good. As our main plates we had the Osso Bucco, the Filet Mignon, the Lamb Chops, the Pan Roasted Salmon, the Branzino, the Meat Ravioli, and the Rigatoni Alla Buttera (yes, we were a large group :D). All were very good and highly recommended. For dessert we shared the Tiramisu which was also very good. Prices are reasonable. Drinks 4 stars: Large list of delicious specialty cocktails and mocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks. We had the Rye Old Fashioned and the Passion Flower and both were very good. Drink prices were reasonable also. The Bottom Line 4 stars: A solid, all around 4 star experience. Highly recommended!

Took my clients here for lunch and everyone was pleased with the food, service and ambiance. High-end without being stuffy. Quality Italian food and excellent service. Will visit again!

Our waiter Jose started us off with drinks and appetizers. It was a chill vibe in a comfortable booth, and we were encouraged to take our time. We started off with the squash, blossom special and the tuna tartare. Next, I had a delicious bowl of pasta with clams and white sauce, my friend had the gnocchi. We were very pleased with everything and will definitely be back.

My lovely wife reserved this restaurant for us to celebrate our anniversary, although quite the long drive, when we arrived, we were greeted by valet parking as I couldn't find any street parking (Valet is $7) When inside, the front desk receptionist took our reservation and immediately sat us by a comfy sofa table, which to my surprise is very spacious. Interior is very well maintained, very spacious, and perfect for big groups of parties as well. I noticed that plenty of people were also dining outside which is perfect for a non windy/hot day. Our server asked us if we would like some bread (with olive oil spread) which turned out to be complimentary as I found out when the check was received. Our server was beyond great, walked around plenty of times to each table was checked up on us, another staff was also refilling water which is a nice gesture. Our order was taken fairly quickly & food came out faster than expected. (10-15 minute wait) Complimentary Bread: A nice surprise, two types of bread. One with soft bites, and one with hard crust, both are savory & not too salty. Goes really well with the olive oil spread and of course, this is the standard appetizer for many restaurants around. BRUSCHETTA: (4PCS) On the toasted bread comes with fresh tomatoes, garlic, and basil. This is one of the most fulfilling appetizers around. Very nice medium size bites which my wife and I enjoyed. Very fresh and nice crunch to the bread. Great balance between the sweetness of the tomatoes and the savory bread. RIGATONI ALLA BUTTERA: One of my favorite pastas around, pork sausage, peas, and shredded cheese along with the rigatoni is the perfect entree. Easily shareable between two people, super savory, flavorful, and easy to bite. Portions are not too big but not too small either. This is my favorite dish from the evening meal. Highly recommend this fulfilling dish for anyone who loves pastas. COSTOLETTE D' AGNELLO ALL' ACETO (Lamb Chops): To my surprise, this was very easily cut. The dish comes with 4 moderate size lamb chops (Medium Rare) that's mixed in vinaigrette & garlic sauce, some spinach on the side, and potatoes. One of the most juicy lamb chops I've ever eaten. Although a shareable dish, can get messy but if eaten properly, no mess is added. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, our server brought out a lovely ice cream dessert for us with writing on it + candle. It was a very well made pleasant surprise by my wife & staff to celebrate this special day. Our server also helped us took many couple photos that came out perfect! Love everything about this restaurant, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would. This restaurant is perfect for any special occasion and even without any special occasion, you will have a great time at this restaurant as the food is top quality and has impeccable & friendly service.

Came here for the amazing $5 happy hour Ordered almost everything on the menu Each item was fantastic! We came as a party of three girls and were sat down fairly quickly with no reservation. We sat outside where there was a covering and heat lamps. The food was delicious and i ordered a lasagna to go to eat later. their pasta is so good!! will have to come back to try other menu items

This was my third visit to Ca'Del Sole -- I've been here twice with big groups before, but this time came with a small group and finally ordered from the menu. The food was mostly great (the carpaccio was my favorite! ), and the cozy indoor/outdoor atmosphere made it even better. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was the octopus dish -- I was really looking forward to it, but it didn't have that grilled texture I expected. It tasted more like it was boiled than grilled, so it lacked that nice smoky flavor. Still, the rest of the food and their $5 after 5pm Happy Hour were amazing. Definitely a beautiful spot in Toluca Lake for good Italian food and wine!

Twice the fun of M&m's due to the fact that this will truly melt in your mouth, and M&M do melt in your hands (demonstrably false advertising) North of the Hollywood Hills and Universal Studios in a land known for aspiring actors, fake careers (no sir you are not a movie director) you will find some authentic Italian cuisine. If you are trying to impress upon someone that you know good Italian food, then you will be very pleased to bring them here. The servers here know how to garnish and how to apply the compliments your plate needs. You will definitely get that European feeling at this place as though you are being transported to Italy itself within these walls. Check it out Also had the Panna cotta, but I forgot to take a picture of it. Very creamy

Ca Del Sole is consistently excellent, from the inviting ambiance to the food and outstanding service. We've been coming here for over five years and appreciate how the menu and décor have evolved while the quality has remained exceptional. Porfirio is a big reason we return. His service is truly first class, attentive, friendly, and personal. He remembers the details about us and our preferences, which makes every visit feel special. We always ask to sit in his section because his hospitality is unmatched. Highly recommend!

Came here with my boyfriend for date night because I was craving Italian and this place delivered!! Our server, Jose, was attentive and took care of us very well. Food was amazing - from their complimentary bread + olive tapenade to the apps, entrees, and of course dessert. Loved their pumpkin butter ravioli. Soooo delicious and a must get if you like pumpkin ravioli. My bf got the lasagna and this was also delicious and hearty. We got their tiramisu and pistachio semifreddo for dessert and let me tell you, this was the cherry on top of a perfect dinner! Valet parking is $7 or there's also street parking available if youre lucky.

This was my first time here and it was a lovely experience. Edwin took care of me and he was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and attentive, but not overly attentive. I came in for lunch one day after an appointment and sat in the bar area and started with a lovely skinny jalapeño margarita which Edward made, and it was perfect. Nice and tart with the right amount of heat. I started with the bruschetta and I must say, the flavors of basil, garlic, and tomato and olive oil were just fabulous! I do like my toasted bread more crunchy though and with all the juicy tomatoes on top it soaked it up so maybe next time I'll order the bruschetta in a bowl and the toast on the side. Then I have the salmon affimicato Ruffano on a bed of garlic spinach with a side of horseradish sauce and micro greens. The brown sugar was nice and caramelized, and it was a nice thick piece of meat, but one side was a little overdone and the other was a tiny bit underdone. Spinach was lovely and the micro greens were a nice touch with a squeeze of lemon on it. I must say though I could not taste any heat or any horseradish in the actual horseradish sauce. Atmosphere and ambience are absolutely lovely. Beautiful large outdoor patio with cozy little cabana type table seating along the side as well. Nice bar area with TVs and cozy booth seating and then a lovely interior of the restaurant. Valet parking in front. Prices are not too shabby for what you get. Will definitely be back!

Once we arrived the interior had a relaxed, easygoing vibe, modern but cozy, with stylish design touches that made the whole space feel welcoming and unhurried. Even the waiting area with it's low lit seating surrounded by book cases was really cool. My wife, my sister and I had a wonderful table near the fireplace in the center of the dining area. Nearby were draped booths that would be perfect for a more romantic evening. Our server was, Haley...she was incredible. Very personable, helpful and extremely professional. You'll be in good hands if you're lucky enough to get her! Then the food...Wow. My wife and my sister got the filet migons, watching my wife's euphoric reaction of taking her fist bite made my evening! Omg...thankfully, my wife let me try garlic fries that came with the filets, and they were the best I ever had! I got the Langostino Fettuccine...outstanding. You have to dig a little spicy, which I do...but the vodka cream sauce is the real highlight of this dish. For deserts we got the apple cobbler, the creme brulee and sticky toffee cake. All three were fantastic. But I preferred the cobbler and the toffee cake the most. We didn't get the Le Petit Gateau, their chocolate cake...but we decided to get one to go! HA...it's unbelievably rich and pretty tall and big. It's topped with candied wild cheries...it's two days later and we're still eating this yummy treat. All in all...I would recommend this for any occasion...wether you're looking for just a night out with solid service and great food, to a romantic evening. We got there around 6...but later on there was live music with these two gentlemen on guitars that really played perfect atmosphere music. You can't go wrong with a night out at Firefly!

From my first call to restaurateur Eric to make a reservation earlier in the week, the experience was as warm and personable as can be. Within minutes of our arrival, we were greeted by co-restaurateur Antonio, and we instantly felt like family at the beautiful, private table they had thoughtfully reserved for us by the window. Our wonderful server, Jessica, made the night even brighter. We started with some Peach Puree Bellini Prosecco that was crisp, refreshing, and beyond amazing. The food arrived with impressive speed, but the quality was truly second to none. My wife absolutely loved the special of the night--a Tiger Shrimp and Asparagus Linguini--and my Angus Beef Bolognese with savory short rib ragu was easily the best I've ever had. Antonio and Jessica checked on us frequently, chatting about the day and the amazing history of the restaurant. This was NOT just a night out at a "restaurant." This was quite literally getting together with family and having the time of our lives. Prosecco Trattoria is not "just another place to eat"--it is now our favorite home away from home for artfully prepared food and drinks. To Eric, Antonio, and Jessica: thank you for welcoming us into your family for such a special milestone!

The hubby wanted to eat out Italian for a cozy Sunday, holiday evening. And have never ventured here in Toluca Lake; and what an elegant, delight! Jessica was our server. She made our experience delectable, truly! Noticed every detail, and with warm humor. She recommended my husband read the desert menu aloud, for the romance of it all. And it works and that's true! Hehe I ordered the 4-cheese Ravioli in tomatoe sauce, and it's unlike any I've EVER had. It's about 5 inches in diameter, round+ mostly flat, and not too salty. Absolutely delicious! Jessica offered to sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, the service! Unmatched. The Italian seasoning added to the tomatoe sauce, makes it sweeter, aromatic. If you're familiar with my reviews, I'm always searching for vegetarian options. For desert we had the Panna Cotta with wild berries. Excellent, yummy! And we kept it cozy, with mint hot tea. Which is always a go-to around the Xmas holidays. The decor is northern Italian elegance: hand painted art, crystal chandeliers, and white linens abound. Reminds me of when we hiked the hills of Tuscany. With the holiday touch of twinkle lights and fresh winter floral bouquets. It seems most locals frequent here: Are known by name, and had the front door held open for them if elderly. What sweet, kindness and local vibes. We'll be back, to try perhaps the chicken the hubby says. :) Thank you all for an exceptional, romantic Sunday night dinner with my Hubby, during the holidays.
