Yum city! The menu is large-and-in-charge with many options and specialty beverages and various teas. Thankfully they also offered decaf since our event started at 1pm and some people work early mornings. I was sniffing the iced lavender latte and ICED HONEY LATTE and opted for the latter since they were using real honey vs. coffee syrups for that flavor. Ample and appropriate balance of honey was stirred in properly with the espresso shots and then poured over whole milk (various options available). I did not see wooden stir sticks anywhere, so I did the swirl on our desktop to get the color balance right. The java is quality as is the finished product. It was a very popular event with tenants of the building. I would definitely recommend them. If they do it again next year hopefully there will be some cookie options from a separate vendor to top off a great holiday event.

I'm very big on customer service for things like this, when there are many companies providing the same service and your guest experience is the most important thing to you. A poor customer experience when you are inquiring or booking, usually translates to a poor experience with your guests on the day of the event, which is the last thing I want to think about when hosting a party and spending $500-$1500 on coffee. I host 2-3 parties a year and hire vendors like this on repeat. Unfortunately, they told me they were booked "all week next week" without even asking when my event was. When I told him I'd still love to get a quote for future reference and he proceeded to call me "ma'am" and tell me "he's not going to quote an event several months in advance. He's not playing the hypothetical game and call back closer to the event." Unappreciated. Very unfortunate. To be clear, I can't say he was extremely rude, however, he was short, petty and a bit passive aggressive in response to my questions...I believe he was busy, since he told me he was in the middle of something, but I just don't think it was warranted. I've called a dozen places for other services and haven't had one experience like this to drive me to Yelp! Not sure if Karla is outsourcing the admin part of this business, but the gentleman I spoke with rushed me off the phone and did not seem to want my business. So I'll take that business with me and also share my experience with friends. I really like supporting local, woman-owned businesses, but I can't shake the sour taste in my mouth from this interaction. People like this will quickly tank your success. Good luck to you.
