Very busy evening in Baci but everything was great. Restaurant was full and me and my friend had to wait a bit for a table which was absolutely fine as it was Saturday and 4 of July weekend. Our server ( couldn't get his name as was kind of loud in the restaurant- Brad / Brian) was amazing , prompt professional and friendly service. Food was outstanding, I had a spinach salad with strawberries- great dressing-good balance between ingredients, cold Peroni in a icy signature glass and white pizza with arugula- absolute delight in every bite. I went to Baci with my brother and Dad while I was in town visiting. The shop doesn't look like too much from the outside, but it is super cute on the inside! It is a classic Italian restaurant, with wine decor, and photos of old gangsters. We had mozzarella sticks which were very very good - and I am a tough judge! Definitely get those! We also had Caesar salads, which were pretty good - the dressing was good, but the lettuce was very white. Finally the Pizza.... we tried a meat lovers pizza and it was excellent! The crust is pretty thin, but they cooked it perfectly. The cheese, toppings and seasonings were all great! I would return next time I am in town! read more

Was uncrowded when I went for lunch, we had two pastas, a white pizza and salad. The pizza and pasta is the way to go here. My uncle raves about their bolognese sauce and my husband loves the white large pizza. The portions are giant so we had enough for leftovers the next day. Let me tell you this, we lived in NSB for over a year and had never been here. MISTAKE on our part. As my wife is from New Jersey and we eat a lot of homemade Italian I can tell you that this is THE REAL DEAL. In my humble opinion it's the best pizza in FLORIDA. Seriously , when I tell you you won't be disappointed , but mean it. Thin crust, spot on sauce , a lot of toppings , comes out in a bang ( no 30 min wait), in love with cheese and cooked right! Good consistent food with a nice ambiance. Service can be hit or miss depending on the server, but overall decent. Be sure to read the menu and ask questions as the servers may not take the time to give guidance. Fair value for the pizzas and dinners. You may ask yourself how can one go from "Unfortunately very disappointing food experience can't recommend...." Yes that's my first tip posted several months ago all the way to a four star review. I don't think my tip was reactive I feel I gave a very fair evaluation based on our first experience here. Whether you attribute that opinion to the newness of the restaurant, the unorganized service, experimenting of the menu by the owner, or bad choices by me I stand by it that was a snap shot at the time. But in a attempt to validate my opinion and in the name of fairness we chose to return in part because I know it's not unusual for a new start-up to struggle and after driving by many times it was apparent by the number of customers in the off season this place had gathered itself up and is winning over the locals which is no easy task in NSB. We arrived around 8:00 PM the parking lot was mostly full but once inside it was "seat yourself" and no waiting and there were several tables open along the front window. We were immediately greeted by our server Chris he was very inviting and has a great personality and proved to be very attentive. The menu is filled with a wide selection of Italian fare so the choice is not an easy one. We decided to start with 10 wings with teriyaki sauce on the side, done crispy, they arrive perfectly cook crispy, crunchy and still moist inside they were nothing less than amazing and I feel they stand up against any in the area. As an entree we chose a 12" "wood-fired" pizza, it came out piping hot topped with plenty of our favorite toppings sitting on a perfectly executed thin crust. Table side you'll find a great selection of seasonings including - red pepper flakes, garlic powder, Italian dried seasoning - salt / pepper and dried Parmesan cheese in a shaker. Needless to say it was more food than we could consume so we had it boxed up to enjoy later. I feel with all the Italian restaurants and pizza restaurants in the area this place has joined the ranks closer to the top than most, of course we will return.....often read more

Best pizza I've had in Florida. Everything on the menu is delicious. At this point it is my favorite restaurant in central Florida.

After all the rave reviews, I was expecting the food to taste better. We had super large portions, but for the price, we thought you'd at least get a salad or garlic bread or bread sticks with your meal! My eggplant parm was soggy and the sauce lacked any tang or zip to it. The eggplant had a very bitter taste to it. I love eggplant parm and this just didn't meet my expectations. The lack of any other side besides the pasta was disappointing! However, the staff was very attentive and pleasant. Had egglant and veal parm. With tip, over $50. I doubt we'll return! read more

What an absolutely delicious place! Greeted promptly and seated quickly, we enjoyed our visit from the very beginning! The place is not the same since Covid took over. This used to be a regular go-to restaurant for us, but portions on the veal are half what they used to be and the new manager is lost with what he needs to do as a manager and to make customers happy. We supported them before the whole covid thing, was there the day they reopened. My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful evening dining at Baci. The service provided by Cheyanne was wonderful, and she offered great suggestions for appetizer choices. We enjoyed the AMAZING Italian Style Nachos which were crispy and perfectly topped pasta chips (who knew!), Fried Zucchini, and an Italian Meatball topped with Vodka sauce. Drove by this place several times and the parking lot was always packed. So we decided to go see what was so good, and we were not disappointed. We had an awesome server, Magen. She did everything you would expect and more to make the visit worth it. there were 2 huge tables 1 had 12 people and the other one had 15. This is a relatively small restaurant with maybe 50 seats and it was packed. The menu was huge. Sat at the bar waiting for a table and had a conversation with a local, and he said he's there 3-4 times a week and has never had a bad meal. We had a large all meat pizza with a thin crust, which I guess is the only way it comes because we were not asked "thin or pan". If you go and have to wait it will be worth the wait. Read a number of reviews and noticed that Baci's was almost a 5 star place and was hoping to add to that number. Unfortunately no can do. First the place was almost freezing. We were sat at a table near the windows that had a register that blew directly on us. That created a situation where the food became cold as soon as it arrived which was within a pretty quick timeframe. Baci's does not have a kids menu and according to their menu they charge extra if you want to share your food. Unlike other Italian places you don't get bread, salads or other items while you wait for your entrees. Our server was good, however, she asked if we wanted to order at the same time as she took our drink orders and when we asked for some time she seemed much too busy to come back to our table for quite some time. She was friendly, but I think she was trying to cover too many customers that day. The owner or manager passed by the table to ask if every thing was good but as he asked he continued to walk giving me the indication he was just punching the ticket. Pizza was good, pasta was below average so this will not be a repeat as there are many more options in New Symrna Beach. Thank you Entire Baci Staff! A few days ago I ordered take-out at Baci's for the family. 4 meals, salads, a sandwich, tiramisu, they also gave us focaccia along with their delicious dipping sauce. It was a large take out order. They said it would be ready in 25 minutes. We arrived 25 minutes later and it was just being packaged. They have their front door open and set up with a table to pass you your food and where you pay with as little contact as possible. The food was hot when we got it home, the portions where as large as Baci is known for and more importantly just as delicious as when we eat at the restaurant! I am in the high risk group and I felt very safe and comfortable with the whole process and with the food. We will be doing this again and again, etc. Please consider the Staff and their families and tip generously as if you had a sit down waited on meal, because behind the scenes I know they all waited on me for this take-out. read more

This was my first attempt at a more pricey pizza joint in New Smyrna and I'm not sure that I would be back considering all of the options in the area. The atmosphere was nice when I walked in. It had a lot of wood that gave an intimate vibe and gave me the urge to drink some wine. :-) I picked up my pizza from the bar and it was a bit confusing as to who was helping me cash out. Once it all was settled, I tried my pizza the second I got in the car. I'm not sure if I'm biased because I'm from a larger city with a lot of great pizza places, but it was just bland. I will add that I got a plain pizza but I do that all the time in Atlanta and have had some great stuff. It was a thin crust, which I love, but it did not taste like anything but dough to me. We visited Baci for the third time. I really wish that we could give separate stars for the food and separate stars for the service and atmosphere. First the atmosphere. It's a quaint little restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. My only complaint is inside the restaurant was very cold. So cold, it was hard to enjoy a meal. We waited several minutes after being seated for our server Bree to greet us. Our server never offered a wine list, nor asked if we wanted any appetizers. Once she took our order, she didn't come back to our table until the food was served. I had to get her attention to refill our drinks. We had Stromboli and shrimp Alfredo. Each dish was fresh and delicious. We were almost finished with our meal by the time she came back to our table to ask how our food was. She didn't offer dessert, nor did she bring us a check when we asked for a to go box. I believe this is just the individual server. Last time, our service was wonderful.
