A new hidden gem in Rancho! Nestled into the "homecoming" apartments is this fresh, clean, and cute tea house. I loved the name of this place to begin with; it sparked my curiosity. When I saw that it was located in a roundabout that felt reminiscent to downtown Disney for its high walkability, I felt excited to open the door. On a 100 degree day, the AC was blasting and it felt great. It smelled yummy like fries and every corner looked clean and new. They were playing r&b hits from the 90s and I felt right at home. I ordered a "creamy jasmine" with honey boba and who I believe to be the owner helped me make it less sweet upon ordering. Both her and another employee were very kind and welcoming. I felt cared for which can be rare in a typical fast paced boba spot. The tea at 50% sweet with the honey boba was perfect for me. I enjoyed tasting the actual green tea flavor and the consistency of the honey boba felt soft and fresh. They also have board games which would be so fun to do with some friends. As an avid milk tea fan I'm always out seeking new places. Let me start with the aesthetics, cafe is tucked in a roundabout and surrounded by modern apartments. There's 30 min guests parking in front of the store. Cafe is cute and clean, menu is clear. Upon walking in, it smelled of fried grease. I ordered the Black sugar assam, with additional topping. Highly recommend Teaspoon RC for delicious boba drinks! I first discovered this gem when I went to support a fundraiser there. (Bought a couple of boba drinks and a portion of the proceeds went to the organization.) I had the opportunity to speak with the Filipina owners, who encourage collab opportunities! Since then, I have returned numerous times because the drinks are delicious! The boba is prepared to perfection. The soft, chewy consistency made my beverages even that much more enjoyable. These are the kind of drinks that make your soul happy! They do have some snacky-snack food offerings, and more recently added ice cream to the menu. Got to try the ube ice cream. Definitely coming back for that deliciousness! The interior is clean and super-cute. There are a few games to play. There is 1 large community table and 4 smaller tables inside. stopped by Teaspoon in Rancho Cucamonga and decided to try one of their seasonal summer drinks with pineapple, mango, and hibiscus. It was so refreshing and had a great balance of fruity flavors without being overly sweet. My husband got the strawberry ice cream, and he really enjoyed it as well. The only downside was the customer service. I was helped by a lady with dyed red hair, and unfortunately she didn't make the experience very pleasant. It wasn't the warmest interaction, which took away from the visit she looked annoyed that I was asking questions about the drinks. The shop is tucked away in a community with a bunch of condos, so if you don't know it's there or aren't actively looking for it, it's really easy to miss. It was my first time visiting this Teaspoon location! I was very amazed with where it was located; it's the epicenter of the Homecoming apartments. I'm envious of the residents who can just walk and grab boba when they want it. We packed ourselves in spots that allotted 30 minutes for parking, and we walked towards the entrance. There are plenty of seating areas for you to do work. They also have board games for you to play with when you're with good company. Upon walking in, you're swayed by the smell of popcorn chicken and fries. There is a kiosk to order with on the right side or you can go up to the counter to order. Andrew was our lovely cashier today and he made ordering seamless alongside adjusting our drinks to the right preferred sugar levels. I had ordered the peachy twist and my fiancé ordered their milk drink. Upon the first sip, it was extremely sour. I shook my drink and tried my best to drink it, but the passion fruit seeds were too much. I tried my fiancé's milk tea, and that was way better. I was very shy and felt bothersome for going up to the counter to ask for a drink exchange... I hardly ever do it and try to stick to my choice. Yet, I truly couldn't handle the sourness. I went up to the counter and Betty kindly exchanged my drink for me. She was patient and kind, and did so with care. My encountered with their workers made this experience more enjoyable. The boba was delicious, I got the coconut Thai with boba and I loved it, it had chunks of coconut in there too! Which was absolutely fantastic! The tiramisu coffee my husband got was not too bad but probably needed to be a bit more complex rather because it didn't really taste like anything but we still drank it. The best thing about this visit was the FRIES!!! OMG, they were phenomenal! Seriously, we go the hot Nashville seasoning and they were so good and flavorful. Loved this place! Stopped by with my boyfriend last week on a hot afternoon and the drinks were very refreshing. I was disappointed they no longer had Oolong tea, but the Golden Assam I had was delicious. They have various food and pastry options (like cookies and wings). There is available parking that's only for picking up some food/drinks which is nice because the area was pretty packed as far as parking goes. The ambiance is pretty cool; looks like a college hangout and study spot for them. It's in a college neighborhood so it does make sense. The service is pretty accommodating and relax. Catering Review This review is a long time coming!! Teaspoon catered our wedding, and they went above and beyond! The setup was stunning, and guests absolutely loved having boba when they arrived at the reception. Guests had 3 flavor options, and Teaspoon made the drinks to order on the spot. It created such a special experience, and we heard such high praise from everyone we spoke to about having boba at our wedding. Some of our guests arrived a little bit late, but still lined up to get their boba even at the risk of missing the start of the reception. That's how much people loved it! We also heard multiple attendees comment on how unique it was to have a boba bar; they hadn't heard about that at a wedding before, so it was a nice new experience, even for people who've been to multiple weddings. Planning other aspects of the wedding was a stressful process, but planning the Teaspoon catering was SUPER easy, even though we reached out to them less than a month before the wedding. We met with the owners and they gave us boba flavors to taste to see what we'd like to have at our wedding. Then we figured out the setup, where they would be in the venue, etc. They were so very accommodating and easy to work with. And they absolutely delivered. They got to the venue early and set everything up perfectly, on time with no issues. And it all went so smoothly. They even made extra drinks from what they had left, and put them near the food area for the guests to take later on in the evening. In summary, as a young couple stressed out about planning our wedding, here are the problems they solved for us: - Planning Process: They made it fun, personal, and easy. - Price: The cost for catering with them was totally reasonable and affordable for us. - Setup: They set up a beautifully decorated boba bar, making personalized drinks on the spot. - Guest Perception: Everyone truly loved the boba bar, the drink options, and topping customization. - Stress Level: From start to finish, it was a completely stress-free experience. I'm very impressed with the decor and ambience of this Teaspoon. They have lovely butchers block table and comfortable chairs. The place is new and squeaky clean :) Love the art work on the walls and the 75 inch TV mounted on the wall displaying the menu. I got off work at 7pm and it was wonderful that they were still open. I ordered the black sugar Assam which is like the Tiger brown sugar milk tea boba of any boba place but Teaspoon made it better. My eldest daughter and I were at the Mt. SAC Mid Autumn Festival this past Sunday. Teaspoon was one of the vendors there. Their drinks look so good. We didn't get a chance to try them at the festival, but they have a location in Rancho Cucamonga. We decided to check them out that evening so here we are. It's a nice place for its cute biz name! Comfy inside space for chilling and hanging out. There's some outside seating, too. It's located in The Resort community near the Homecoming Apartments. There aren't many other restaurants or shops around it at this time. However, I was informed there may be a cafe and convenience store coming soon. They do have free parking available. Staff was nice and pleasant. They have one self-ordering kiosk or you may order at the counter. We used the kiosk as it was easier... got 3 drinks (see below). All drinks come in one size. Prices were average. No extra cost for no ice and they still fill cup up to the top... yay! Thank you! They also sell some baked goods. I been coming to Teaspoon for a while and I usually enjoyed their drink. I don't like my drink diluted with ice so I always get easy ice. However, the last time times, the signature latte has been very watered down and is full of milk. I decided to give their signature latte one more try because it was VERY good in the past. I noted on the APP that I want stronger coffee knowing it will probably be watered down. When I got to the store, I talked to a younger employee about it and ask for stronger coffee and the employee said she can add more coffee. When it comes to making the drink, it was the same lady who made the watered down signature latte the previous week. The previous week, i told her the drink had too much milk so she topped the cup with a bit more coffee. So this same lady with glasses gave me what was shown in the picture. She further said "this is how we make the drink with less ice and i can't give you more coffee". Now, remember the first lady agreed to make it stronger. Also, i saw the coffee was from a pitcher not freshly brewed so it's not like I'm asking for extra shot. I wasn't in the mood to debate with her, so I just took the drink after confirming with her that they didn't change owner or how they make drink. I sent a fb msg to the business and I'm hoping they will see it. This kind of drink and attitude to customer is bad for business.
