    Ube & Biscoff Topping
    Tiffany N.

4/12- This location is tucked inside Ontario mills mall ... super fast & quick friendly service. I ended up ordering the Ube soft serve and Biscoff topping .. it was really delicious & creamy and I loved the Nutella inside the baked Fish . It's a sweet treat especially walking by the mall . Wished they had tables & chairs but they had high counters you can stand up & enjoy it there .

This spot is located inside the Ontario Mills mall. It's great to stop by if you are already shopping but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here since it's in a busy mall. Inside is quite small and there is no seating. I love getting their Upside Down Ahboong. It's their soft serve with a filled Taiyaki on top. Usually I always get the Ube flavored soft serve but this time I decided to try Cookies n' Cream with a Nutella filled Taiyaki. It was so creamy and delicious.

So yummy it's a nice little sweet treat while shopping at the mall. The inside is just rubbed with Nutella it's not filled so don't expect a big filling. Service is fast they have a tablet so you can order yourself. Once it's ready they ask you if you want any toppings. No seating but they have this high table to use which is convenient not much room in there to sit anyway so the table is a good touch.

Haven't been to this location but wanted to get a little treat while shopping at Ontario. Got the Early grey which was such a unique flavor and I loved it. Everything is so clean and they are quick with the orders. I always love the fact that they change their flavors consistently.

somi somi is always a good spot for dessert! super filling and i love the fish waffle! i just wish the waffle was warmed up first, then it would taste even better

This dude behind the counter closed up shop on us after making us wait for him. Do better, somisomi worker.
    Francis F.

Worker: "Hi, I'll be right with you in a few minutes." We wait patiently. Worker returns: "Sorry, we close in 3 minutes, and it takes about 5 minutes to make." ...make this make sense, disappointing somisomi guy.

MUCH BETTER SERVICE! Shoutout to Kevin for his diligence and customer service skills. I HIGHLY recommend the Upside Down Ahboong, mine consisted of a Nutella Taiyaki (fish pastry) on top and coffee soft serve. I was craving a sweet treat and this one definitely made my day! I love the pancake-esque little fish, they're freshly baked and ooey-gooey. I arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon, the staff were working it! I got my Ahboong first, and waited 20 mins for the new batch of Taiyaki to be done. I enjoyed my soft serve inside the shop while waiting for the rest of my order. Overall, people were civil and calm. The food and experience were great!

Always love Somisomi, big craving of mine, Workers are always super nice. Orders come out pretty quick with how busy they are. If you go to the Ontario Mills definitely come here so worth it

The ice cream was incredibly delicious . The employees were friendly and patient with us. The place is clean and neat and is a great place to eat ice cream with friends and family.

I tried the milk and ube flavor this time and it was really good. The Taiyaki also tasted great, we got the limited time mint Oreo flavor and a red bean flavor. The service was really nice too.

Upside down ahboong with ube and pink guava swirl

After walking around the mall and it was way too warm in there, Somisomi caught my eye and I had to try it. The line was busy and wrapped around a corner but the wait wasn't too bad, we waited about 10 minutes to reach the self-order kiosk. There is no seating but there are a couple tables to stand next to and eat on. My husband and I both shared a matcha and strawberry swirl in a cup and also an upside down ahboong with ube and pink guava swirl. The upside down ahboong came with taiyaki and we chose matcha custard for the filling. It was so good and the taiyaki was warm and fluffy! The soft served ice cream flavors were unbelievably decadent but subtle. My favorites were the pink guava, ube, and strawberry. I did like the matcha but it overpowered the strawberry and the two flavors didn't fully work together as a swirl. The soft serve was creamy and airy. You could also get toppings as they several sweet toppings such as Oreos, fruity pebbles, etc. available. Will definitely have to get this sweet treat again whenever I'm at the mall again!

It's nice to have a Somisomi so close to home, instead of having to go to Fullerton. Being that it's in the Mills, it means that the place is a lot smaller than if it was in its own standalone place of business. There's only 2 high tables to stand at, otherwise you'll be walking around the mall eating your treats. We had several of their Ah-boong. They were pretty good. Love the combination of flavors for the soft serve. And it pairs well with the waffle fish. I also got some of their Taiyakis. Just a not the Taiyakis do not stay crunchy for too long. So keeping them in the box, in several hours they become limp and soft, like any hot waffle would in an enclosed container. Which definitely changes the taste of the Taiyaki. But a quick trip to the toaster oven crisps them right back up. All the different fillings added into the Taiyaki works really well with the waffle batter. Service here is quick. But keep in mind you are inside the mall. So it's mall type service. Which isn't bad, but isn't stellar as well. Overall, I'm glad they have a Somisomi here. Definitely will be bringing people here in the future to try their Ah-boong and Taiyakis!!

I went with two classics I always judge a Korean kitchen by: mul naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) and the short rib combo. The naengmyeon arrived beautifully chilled, the broth icy and clean with a balanced tang and subtle heat that didn't overpower. The noodles had that perfect chewy elasticity -- exactly what you want. Refreshing, sharp, and deeply comforting all at once. The short ribs were served sizzling on a hot plate, caramelized at the edges with a savory-sweet marinade that penetrated the meat. Tender without being overly fatty, and paired perfectly with the multigrain rice. Each bite had that smoky depth you hope for in a well-executed galbi. The banchan spread was fresh and thoughtfully prepared -- bright kimchi, seasoned greens, and small sides that complemented rather than distracted. Nothing felt rushed or careless. Service was warm and efficient, and the overall experience felt polished yet comforting -- the kind of place that satisfies both cravings and standards. Safe to say I'll be back to work my way through more of the menu.
