7/27/26 People! It's 102°F in Rancho Cucamonga! Why are we in this cauldron?! Thankfully the indoor seating is well cooled with AC, otherwise it would've been a no go . Fresh in-house, handmade, delicious pastas & flavorful sauces, customer service can use a little bit of tweaking. You order at the counter, pay & then your food is delivered to your table. There were about 4-5 counter height tables:/hairs. We sat at a regular table to accommodate my foot with a boot. The food arrived at a reasonable amount of time. Of note, unrelated to our visit, an issue erupted between a customer & a patron that felt uncomfortable for myself & our group because it became a shouting match. This definitely could've been handled in a more professional manner. I'm not placing any blame on either party but de-escalating it would've been appreciated. Overall, the food was delicious. The pasta tasted fresh. The pesto sauce was a tad salty for my taste but it was flavorful. The meatballs were soft, you can taste the quality in their food. We noticed a few flies/gnats flying around our areas & had to swat them away plenty of times. Despite the issues encountered, our group had a pretty good enough time at this pasta shop. I remember reading a long time ago that Alyssa Milano as a proud Italian did not eat spaghetti because it was too commercialized and over-utilized in America. She ate other pastas. I didn't have any grand reason as that for preferring linguine as my pasta noodle of choice. My favorite childhood Italian family food joint used linguine as their "spaghetti" so that was what I thought of when it came to most pairings of sauce to noodle. Pomodoro, bolognese, and even my current sauce of choice, chili, will always be paired with linguine if I had my druthers. So it's always a bit disappointing to see a fresh pasta place not even offer it on the menu. I don't think it's a fair measuring stick comparing linguine to a spaghetti, a fett, or even a rotelle like I had here. They will never measure up because the mouth feel wil always be off. Don't mistake me; the rotelle Pomodoro was quite tasty, especially with that decent-sized meatball and focaccia on the side. That sauce was even a good choice because I always liked the simpler sauces. But always, always I think about how much better the meal would've gone with a nice linguine steering the ship. The service was good, if a bit brusque. The food came out quick and the server was even nicer serving than when I ordered. I like the ambiance too. Everything is spaced nicely for a restaurant this size. It feels relaxing in here and a place you can could host a good meal with a small set of friends. Farewell Pinwheel Pasta, I'm disappointed in the dinner tonight and will not be back again. When I crave Pasta Pinwheel comes to mind, went back today for Spaghetti Pomodoro and Bolognese their tasty focaccia bread. First, they gave us some dried up sesame buns like those ones you use for hot dogs. I took a bite, it was old and dried and tossed them in the trash. Tagliatelle pasta for the bolognese was soft and soggy. For a sauce that's supposedly cooked for 8hrs, the carrots were still crunchy? C'mon... are you being truthful? Meat balls were much smaller (2-3x smaller than my previous photos) and drier, sigh. Spaghetti sauce was not remarkable, added too much cheese, I could barely taste the tomato sauce. And the wait? Online order said pickup by 7:33, didn't get it until almost 30mins later because they're "backed up". Truly disappointing, not sure if they had a change of ownership or something. We also ordered the burrata sandwich, and it was rich, fresh, and full of amazing flavor. They bring your dishes to your table for you, and are even nice enough to give free water bottles rather than tap! The first time I was here the customer service was really good and it was a lady at the front counter. This time, It was a guy at the front counter, wearing a white shirt and he was just there, no welcome just took the order. It was cool seeing the guys making a different foods behind the counter. I ordered the build your own pasta fettuccine Alfredo with tagliatelle noodles! Was it tasty! I also had an unsweetened bottle of Pure Leaf tea to drink. The focaccia bread that I dipped in oil is good that comes with the meal. I was surprised that we each didn't get our own orders of the bread. We got 1 order of 4 and we all got 1 each. I had to ask for more. Four of us got pasta dishes. All pastas were great! It is hot & humid outside. We sat at the small table closest to the huge glass door entrance. My wife and I went here for lunch today. Our daughter, who is a foodie influencer, invited us to join her. I gotta tell you, after my first bite of one of five dishes, I was sold on the taste of this place. Not only is the food of exquisite taste/cuisine but the atmosphere is pleasantly quaint and refreshing. Our server was amazing. Very courteous and friendly. We picked up a catering order last night for my daughters graduation party, and it was the perfect choice! Our order was ready on time, the service was extremely friendly, the food was packed with care and they included napkins, utensils and even serving utensils. And the food...so good!! They gave free facasia bread, it was absolutely average , oil was ok but I didn't care for the balsamic at all. Cesar salad was below average, did not taste any anchovy flavor at all. I would given 2 stars until I bit into a price of bone or grizzle about 1/2" in diameter. Really grossed me out. One and done for us. By way of comparison, Vince's or the old spaghetti factory are way better for the price and we don't care for either of those, however they both are predictable and consistent. I placed the order online which is convenient. Pictures of the food looked good. When I arrived inside, there were no customers. I walked up to the pick up/cash register area in the middle. The cashier was facing the wall (looking at her phone). I waited patiently for her to see me. The cook saw me but didn't motion the cashier or acknowledge me. I finally had to make a sound to get her attention. Her attitude was not good. Not friendly and not welcoming and definitely didn't apologize for not seeing me. I asked for my order and she said it wasn't ready yet (even though the online said it would be). I sat down and waited almost 10 more minutes. If the food was good, then maybe this could have been forgiven. But the pasta was way too greasy and lacked flavor (I ordered their Cajun Alfredo with chicken). They are bad at answering their phone. Called three times, no answer at business despite being open and during posted hours. They are consistently out of menu items. Posted sign today said "No Sandwiches and No Salads" Thats like half their menu... They gave us no bread with the pasta despite it being advertised that pasta comes with bread. Kids pasta is less than a cup of pasta for $11! Total was $40 for a chicken parm plate and a kids pasta. Never again! read more

What an amazing day to have you pasta! We were served by the young lady behind the counter who eat us know it was national tiramisu day and we can get a free slice with our entree. We ordered the Cajun pasta, mushroom pasta, kids pinwheel butter pasta and garlic bread. It was delicious, and the kitchen reminded me of a little piece of Italy, white and clean, where you food is cooked where you see the chefs getting down over and open flame. I was really disappointed in eating there this time. I had the Bolognese, which I usually get and they changed it so now it's a runny mess. I love this little gem. Right off carnelian and 19th, located inside the shopping center, you can find this authentic Italian restaurant. They have select rotating or seasonal menu options but always have the classics. You're able to make your own pastas as well. Tiramisu is the best I have found in the area. Sit down location is small but always a good spot for take-out. We recently ordered a large tray for Mother's Day and taste was still great! It sort of pains me to update this review, as I loved this place for the first year or two it's been open. Prices were always high, but it was so good, it was worth it. Like so many restaurants now, portions are shrinking, prices are going up, and service is suffering. The last time we ordered takeout, we had a couple of issues: laughably small salad, undercooked pasta, forgetting to add the extra chicken we paid for. I did contact them through Instagram and they were kind enough to refund the salad and the pasta (though kept the charge for the chicken we never got).
