    Milky Tangyuan & Kinder

Went here for the Milky X Wanderlust collab and had an absolute blast. They hosted a Mahjong party there for the lunar new year celebration and it was awesome. The limited edition "Milky Tangyuan" flavor was delicious. It had a creamy and sweet base, but my favorite part was the inclusions. The Black Sesame butter was so rich and smooth and then the mochi added the perfect chew. The service was awesome in offering us samples, and being able to quickly handle the huge crowd, many props to them for doing that, and with great attitude at that. The vibe was great, much different than how the store is on a normal day, but seems like a great place to hang out with the indoor-outdoor seating, whether it's late out at night or a sweet treat after lunch on a sunny day. A fan of Wanderlust for their ability to do these collabs and make delicious flavors that satisfy the sweet craving!

Mango sticky rice, ube crunch with ube cone

My friends took me into this ice cream shop and I had no idea what to expect. They know I love exotic, fun flavors and Wanderlust did not disappoint! I immediately was attracted to the purple Ube cone- cup and knew I had to have it. I tried a few flavors and settled up on the mango sticky rice and the Ube crunch, combined into my ube cone in a cup. The flavors were immersive, the perfect blend of sweet and savory, with crunches, adding to the creamy texture and swirls of caramel and mango, tying it all together. I ate it so fast and left no trace. Wish I could have rewound and done it all again. ! Definitely will come back my next time in LA

I had seen the Wanderlust Creamery at theirSawtelle location, but since the line was so long, we never tried it! So after an evening of having my hot dog fix at Wurstküche, I walked by Wanderlust Creamery right next-door on my way to my car. And since I was already being decadent for the night with not being so healthy, I opted to try it! They are very generous with allowing customers to sample as many as they want so I decided to split between Mango Sticky Rice and the Honeycomb. Ohhhh so good!!! Thankfully, there was no line at this branch so I was able to grab my ice cream and enjoy it to go!

I got to try their ice cream after hearing about their Japanese Neapolitan for a while now. We waited a few minutes before opening and there was 1 person setting up. She eventually opened and we got to try a few samples. They were out of the mango sticky rice flavor, which sounded interesting. There were a lot of unusual flavors and I ended up getting a cup with 2 flavors, the Japanese Neapolitan and Sakura tiramisu. Boy, they were really good! Four out of five stars because their ice cream was pretty pricey and service was ok. I think they have a rewards program too. I'd go back again if in the area.

I went to Wanderlust Creamery in Venice with some pals today. I had a scoop of Smoky Road in a cup. I liked it. I liked the chocolate flavor along with the crunch of almonds. My group ended up playing some on-site games after finishing our ice cream.

I first tasted wanderlust ice cream at a Yelp event years before they had any storefront brick and mortar. I loved the travel themed flavors, and there wasn't any of the 5 tastes I tried that I disliked. The problem was finding one or two that were favorites! When I saw their store on Lincoln, I couldn't wait to go, and I'm glad I found street parking in front because their parking lots is very limited. Friendly welcome and personable interaction made my visit very pleasurable. I ended up getting points of non-dairy cacao passionfruit and a Vietnamese rocky road. I savored every spoonful and I'm looking forward to going back with a cooler and ice packs to stock up on more!

Wanderlust Ice Cream I come here often with my mom, and it's always such a great experience. Their classic vanilla is one of my favorites, it actually tastes like real vanilla, not the artificial kind. They're always rotating in new and amazing flavors, which makes every visit exciting. The service is consistently great too. The staff is super helpful and always happy to recommend flavors. Shoutout to the guy with the Supernatural tattoo, he was especially kind and made the visit even better. 10/10 recommend this location and the ice cream. Will definitely keep coming back

I am a huge ice cream fanatic so I've tried a lot of ice cream in my life and wanderlust's ube malted crunch is my fav ice cream of all time! every time I come to wanderlust, I get a split scoops between the ube and a new flavor. this time I got a strawberry / floral seasonal flavor (I can't remember what the name is) but the pan dan, the black sesame and the mango sticky rice are also such great pairings. overall, I've always had pleasant service and great experiences especially at this location! the flavors based on travel feel like a delicacy and I highly recommend to anyone in town!

Came again! & still great ice cream! The flavors are so unique and full of real flavors. Flavors ordered: Pistachio & sticky, rice, mango 10/10 : incredibly delicious together. Mango & sticky rice is incredibly JUST like having the real thing. How do they get the flavor just right! naniomo bar & kinder 8.5/10: great flavors & incredibly tasty together. Overall this might be my go to spot of a craving of yummy ice cream! The servers were kind and the ambiance is always welcoming. The shop is always clean and has lots of seating areas!

The place looks cool with theire very huge door. I am here for their ube ice cream and didn't disappoint. I coukd taate real ube and nit just the powder. Not sure if it is but what Im sure of is this is the beat tasting ube ice cream I had. They have many flavors to choose from. The service is quick and the place seems to be in a good area. Wish we have this in IL.

Black Sesame Cookies and Cream AND Japanese Neopolitan (matcha, sakura, and Hokkaido vanilla)
    Fortuna N.

I loveeee Asian inspired ice creams and Wanderlust does it so well with their plentiful options! My favorite one to get is their Japanese Neopolitan (5/5) since it comes with three flavors in one which makes it seem like I get to try even more options! This comes with their matcha green tea base, and swirls of their sakura pink ice cream which gives a sweet, floral taste, and their Hokkaido vanilla. Hokkaido milk is amazing... I also got their Black Sesame Cookies and Cream (5/5) which was so nutty, creamy, and had chunks of Oreos in it. I love the consistency of their ice cream base where it's always so thick and creamy!

I completely forgot to take photos before digging in it was so good! The flavors are really interesting and the service was kind. I got both of the Road ice creams from the suggestion of the scooper and they were just delicious. The Vietnamese one was very sweet but the other was bitter so complemented each other well. Also nice outdoor seating area to be cozy at!

May is my favorite month for Wanderlust flavors! I was really excited that they were bringing back Chrysanthemum honeycomb but this time with dark chocolate covered honeycomb. The dark chocolate covered honeycombs give a good crunchy texture to the creamy ice cream. But I think it overpowers the light chrysanthemum flavor. I think the dark chocolate covered honeycombs would be better with a darker tea flavor instead such as earl grey or tieguanyin! Nonetheless, great service, awesome flavors, calming ambiance, and such an exciting place to visit every time! By far, my favorite ice cream shop.

No. Our “Escape Bars” are sold exclusively at Smorgasburg LA, and not in any of our brick + mortar locations.

Then, an eternity ago, it closed and we were sad. Then Long Beach Creamery opened and we weren't that sad for that long, but still, I absolutely still thought about them every once in a while, sad that they'd left. Then, a much closer eternity ago (about a year ago - I've been super burned-out and not finishing my reviews), I was on my way from an event back to the blue line and walked by and noticed that they had, in fact, just moved. So obviously we had to get some. Verdict - yes, it absolutely was as good as I remembered. I wouldn't go back to DTLA just for ice cream, Long Beach Creamery being walking distance and wonderful, but I would absolutely stop here if I were back in DTLA and wanted ice cream. It's a bit pricey, but all craft ice cream is going to be, and it is definitely craft. And you can save a lot by getting a 3-scoop, which is very much enough to share for two people, if not slightly too much.
