Came here to grab a quick sweet treat, and I'm glad I did! I got the honey vanilla bean and it was the perfect amount of sweet and so very creamy! I loved being able to actually see and taste the vanilla bean incorporated into the ice cream. Oh, but this Caramel Apple crumble is so good. It literally tastes like crisp, fresh picked apples. The tartness of what I'm assuming is green apple compliments the sweetness of the other apple flavors, combined with the caramel and the crunchy oat crumble. I love this complex, and I love all the cute little shops. Jeni's is no exception, with all these magical ice creams. Brown butter almond brittle has a nutty finish, and iced molasses gingerbread conjures warm fires and candy houses. Jeni's locations have started popping up all around LA so naturally I had to try everything here when I went. It comes down to two things. One, there isn't a particular flavor that's a standout here (except for a few limited edition flavors like the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tart and Biscuts with the Boss for Ted Lasso but you can't get those anymore). And two, if Salt & Straw didn't exist, I would think Jeni's is a lot better. The ice cream itself is high quality, I love that they give you a waffle cone wedge with it, and the staff is generous with samples and good with recommendations. I just don't find myself craving anything in particular here. My wife is gluten-free and loves the Gooey Butter Cake (because it's GF!) so I would recommend that if you're into it. This location in particular is in Free Market, which is a cute little area to explore too. Get some tacos at Loqui before making your way over here! read more

It wasn't crowded at all when we were there late-ish on a Saturday night so we were served quickly and they were more than happy to give us all the samples we want. The delicious smell of waffles will lead you to this hidden gem. PJ and Virginia were holding it down during my visit! They were so kind and so knowledgeable! This location is located within an indoor section of the Runway Playa Vista center and on a Sunday night, the place was pretty chill. It was also kinda cold and rainy outside, so maybe it wasn't the best conditions for ice cream? I personally like this location, because it's in the same spot as the movie theater I go to quite often. I got the 'Signature' - or three scoops - Brambleberry Crisp, Gooey Butter Cake, and Hot Toddy. I've had the gooey butter cake and brambleberry previously and they're always a great go to. I wanted to try the hot toddy, so that's why I had it as my third scoop. Okay...so here's a little secret...and I'm not sure how secret it is, but my friend told me that on your birthday, they treat you to the Signature or three scoops of ice cream! So fun! When I visit an ice cream shop, I rarely know exactly what flavor I want to, and I usually want to try a few different options. This is the best place to do that. You can also smell it from a mile away because they make their cones fresh daily. I usually go with a cup to avoid the mess, but the infrequent times I go for a cone, this is the best tasting cone I've had. I can't believe I've only been here once and it took me this long to try!! Probably one of my favorite ice cream spots ever. This location is inside a new center in an elevated area - super clean and convenient. You can smell their waffle cones from a street away! I was debating on getting the flight since I wanted to try a ton of flavors but I ended up just sampling the ones I was interested in first and ended up settling with their signature 3 scoops. I ordered the gooey butter cake, honey vanilla bean, and darkest chocolate. They placed the scoops in my waffle cone in a very thoughtful manner - least sweet at the top and the sweetest at the very bottom of the cone. My palette appreciated that haha. My favorite of all the flavors ended up being the darkest chocolate which is actually the one I didn't sample. It was sweet but not overbearing and the chocolate flavor was 10/10. I don't love dark chocolates but this flavor wasn't that dark or bitter but also wasn't too milky and sugary. It was the perfect balance of chocolate flavor! I'm still thinking about it...so delicious. Definitely coming back! read more

I got the classic brown butter almond brittle and the skillet cinnamon roll. You can never go wrong with almond brittle and I'm a huge fan of cinnamon rolls. I appreciated how there are actual almonds in the ice cream which adds great texture to it. Both flavors were exceptional and next time, I might just get a pint to enjoy at home instead of spending ~$6 for two half scoops. There's no doubt Jeni's is a little pricey but that goes along with the quality. s/o to the super cool guy working on 4/8/25 around 8:30pm! didn't get to catch his name, but not only was he chill with us sampling a few flavors, but also just chatted with us in general about the store since it was a bit of a slow night. customer service was top notch and definitely made me and my bf's night. as for the ice cream - i had the tropical bloom and the bf got the tropical bloom and raspberry rhubarb split, per the guy's recommendation. i'm definitely more of a sherbet/sorbet kinda gal, and it's hard to find a good one at stores that aren't too sweet or too tart. the tropical bloom had the perfect balance of both and was quite refreshing. the raspberry rhubarb was almost like a creamy version of what i had - not too sweet and not too tart from the raspberry. thanks again to the worker for your hospitality! def going to come back to this location more once summer hits. read more
