Not very tourist friendly because we're all trying to figure out where we're going and looking at GPS and not even noticing that in dark letters on the sign it says there's a parking in the back that you don't notice until you've already found parking on a side street. Just a bit frustrating but not much to be done about it. I got a hot chocolate and it was fine, just a standard diner-like hot chocolate. Then the burrito came and although it was supposed to have cheese and chorizo in it, all I tasted was beans and pico de gallo. Barely tasted the eggs. It was HUGE also and the beans are filling so I couldn't finish it but I was just disappointed in the lack of balance in the flavors. I will say the apple cinnamon waffles were fantastic. The crumble on the top was my favorite part. I would just get that next time. I tried my mom's eggs benedict and did not like the hollandaise so I'm glad I didn't get that, I think the waffles might be their specialty.

I called Doordash and they were not of any help-- I called The Muffin Shop directly to inquire about the order and could not have been more pleasantly surprised by how kind and accommodating the owners were. She was so sweet and apologetic, and told me to come in and she would make it right. I made the short walk from our airbnb to the restaurant and was glad that I did-- not only were her and her husband super sweet and kind, I got to see first hand how many amazing treats they had on hand, and got some extra cookies for the kids. In a world where things move at a fast pace all the time, its really easy for things to be overlooked-- they could have easily just dismissed me when I called about the missing coffees (it was that busy that I wouldnt have blamed them). Instead they went out of there way to make sure we were taken care of and things were done right. Clearly these people are old school, have great values, and know what it takes to keep customers happy-- aside from putting out amazing food. Everything we had was a 10/10 (The smoothies and Baked good were top notch), and they have our business whenever we come back to the area in the future!
