Wow. Where do I start. My sprinkler system is over 10 years old and I have 7 zones. Noticed problems with the timer, flooding, and low pressure - planters dying and certain spots in lawn not receiving water. John came out and did a free assessment. Ended up installing a new timer, repairing a bunch of underground breakage points, repairing some wiring, replacing a bunch of broken sprinkler heads, and performing a tune up all around. I would recommend John in a heart beat. Decided to redo my flower beds and then part way thru it dawned on me that we should really redo the sprinkler system as it was from the 80's. It never worked that well and really relied on the rain to supplement, alas the rain does not come. They changed some of the sprayheads and nozzles, installed new valves, created a new pattern of sprayheads in the front yard, moved a couple to new locations and capped an unneeded one off. Very happy Orange County Sprinkler Service One of the zones in our automatic sprinkler system stopped working. We called OC Sprinkler Service on a Wednesday afternoon and they came out at 8am the next day. They diagnosed the problem for free (a 20+ year old valve had stopped working) and quoted a very reasonable price to replace the valve and surrounding plumbing in a very tight work space sunk into the patio. Repair was done in under two hours and everything works fine again. We will be very comfortable calling them back out when the next 20+ year old valve goes bad. read more

I woke up to a flooded front yard from a broken sprinkler. I called Orange County Sprinkler Service and said I needed same day service. I didn't expect to find anyone able to do that, but luckily I called these guys. John was over in no time. He was quick to fix the sprinkler and also spotted some other issues which he managed to fix as well. He also gave a tutorial on how to program the sprinkler system. We just moved into our place, and we're clueless. He fixed the programming so the days and timing were watering the plants correctly instead of drowning them or drying them out. Spent a few hundred ($350-$400) on sprinkler repairs. Saw some pretty significant improvement in a few few areas but really no improvement in the majority. The sprinkler heads that were installed didn't provide the coverage needed or were the wrong type for the need. They consistently over shoot or undershoot. Tightening or listening the sprinkler head just controls the flow but ultimately the solution provided in this instance was inadequate.
