He came back the next day to do the work and he walked me thru everything he would be doing and how long it would take so I could plan around the water being off. Got it done sooner than he expected! After he left there was one place that I saw was dripping a teeny bit, I texted and he came back the next day, fixed it, no problem! Coincidentally we needed a backflow test so we had Alex out the following week and he was great too! He let us know that although we passed this year to be ready for next year being a problem, and we appreciate the heads up! The backflow test was $100 less that another place we used to use so we win! We will absolutely use Western again and would recommend them 100%!

We were scheduled immediately to be serviced (weekend emergency). I cannot thank them enough! I was stressed out and really discouraged but Ritchie was prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. He cleared out the clog, cleaned out the black sludge in the tub, and even was kind to my very nosey and friendly 3-year-old who wanted to greet him at the door. Their prices were reasonable, the communication was excellent and SO easy. Western Rooter has a loyal customer in me. I will be happy to recommend them to anyone.

The first person they sent to our home was Ivan and his assistant (whose name I unfortunately forgot). They came to evaluate the damage and brought large dehumidifiers which they placed in areas with the heaviest water damage. Both men were very professional and knowledgeable and kept us in the loop during their damage evaluation. Upon completion of the damage Ray Lutynski took over and his task was to evaluate results of Ivan's damage evaluation and create an estimate of the cost to repair the damages and submit them to the AAA insurance adjuster for approval. Ray was a pleasure to work with he kept my wife and I informed throughout the process. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the remediation process and the insurance Adjusters requirements. Once Ray obtained the Adjusters' approval, the remediation task was turned over to Juan Lopez with Ray on hand to revise the approved estimates if required. Juan was also very professional and knowledgeable; he coordinated the reconstruction process which was completed on schedule. Juan accompanied my wife and I when we had to select various items. The following week after the repair, a staff member noticed the kitchen sink near the repair area had very low water pressure. Since our office has limited in-person use, I followed up the next week once I was able to review the issue. I also had not received the invoice, even though my business card was provided onsite. When I spoke with the owner, the invoice was sent that evening, and I was told they would call the following week to schedule a time to look at the pressure issue. That follow-up call never happened. I later called and sent a detailed text with my availability to meet onsite, but received no response. Due to the lack of follow-up, we are moving forward with another plumber to assess and resolve the issue. In a commercial setting, timely communication and reliability are critical, and unfortunately this experience did not meet that expectation.

I hired mvp plumbing in Covina to check out a clogged sink in my restroom after they snaked my sink…read morethey offered to run a camera to check my drain sewer line. they found a cracked picked just outside my house underneath the grass. they went outside to located the exact location of the cracked sewer line and told me they need to dig. they tried to start digging immediately and I asked them how much is this job gonna be to dig and fix the cracked pipe. I asked to give me a quote before they proceeded. Manny the supervisor said we have to dig first which I found strange because they already found the location and knew it was a crack pipe. But he wanted to rush to digging before talking numbers. After they quick dug to the pipe I asked manny how much and he said it was gonna be $5,500 to cut And replace that portion of the pipe. That is extremely expensive compared to other plumbing companies and he said that's the best price he can do. This is only the start of this nightmare salesman. Manny than proceed to tell me that he recommended me "epoxy lining" inside my old pipes since they already dug a hole in the front yard. He sated it's cheaper than replacing my pipes. I asked him for a quote and he said since it is a big job the best he can do was $34,000 to epoxy line my sewer lines inside my house to the front yard. I live in a small starter home. So $34,000 is an insane price. Long story short he said that's the best price he can do and he doesn't work for free and his company has to make a profit. after negotiating he kept saying I can bring down the price because he will get in trouble and he has to run it by the boss. We'll negotiations went from $34,000 to 29,000 down to 24,000 down to 21,000 and after negotiating for a little bit longer I got it down to $18,000. Manny said that's the best he can do and that the boss was mad at him for giving me this price. All sales tactics. $18,000 is still extremely expensive for the size of my house to descale my pipes and line the inside with expoxy. I called other plumbing companies and they offered $9-$12,000 quote for this same job. Manny specifically is a Shady salesman look to empty your pockets and upsell you. Do not hire MVP plumbing they will over charge you for services.
