This was a pretty large sandwich that I could have actually shared with my dining partner and I tried my best to get it all down but I couldn't quite make it. Went here for brekkie. Staff was super kind. Food was meh. Omelette was way over cooked. Hash Browns tasted like some funky griddle cleaner was used on griddle before cooking. Very strange offputting gross taste. Farmer Bros coffee is...well.... Farmer Bros. Extensive menu. The family who owns and runs it works hard. Just up the food game a bit, lose the nasty hash browns and do them better and change the coffee. Will go a long way in improving. read more

I love this place. Been eating here off and on since maybe 1985 or something. Just good and simple American diner food in a nice place that didn't change. Always satisfying. Original owner (now retired) remembered me even if I was away for months. My fave order has been scrambled eggs and diced ham under cheddar cheese, sided with hash browns and toast or pancakes, juice or coffee. Great way to start any day! This is a great little diner! We came in on Sunday for a bite to eat after an early church service right across the street. The restaurant is a bit small, but very comfortable and they also have some patio seating as well. They weren't busy for a Sunday morning which made for quick service. The waitress was kind and attentive in taking care of us as well as her other guests. You can tell she's very personable and cares about the guests/regulars. The salt and pepper shakers were GREASY. The French toast was nothing more than pan-fried bread, no cinnamon, no nutmeg. The syrup had obviously been stretched by adding corn syrup and had no flavor. With a rumbling belly after visiting the Larimer county farmers market, this place was perfect. Upon entering, this place looks like it has a lot of history to it. I loved the old school diner feel to it. They had the countertop with stools and the specials written on the white board. Our waitress let us choose where we wanted to sit and handed us menus. I opted for the breakfast burrito with green chili. My counterpart chose the biscuits and gravy. Our food was brought out within 15minutes and smelled amazing. We immediately dug in and had big smiles on our face after our first few bites. My burrito was perfectly layered with the potatoes, eggs, bacon, and the green chili on top to complement it. The biscuits and gravy were full of flavor and had the right amount of sausage in the gravy. Overall, this place was amazing! The staff were extremely friendly and you feel right at home here. After just walking in the waitress was plain rude. She was not in the mood to accommodate for a larger crowd. When we cut the group size in half she was still blunt with us and would roll her eyes while walking away. She scolded one of our friends for stating his order before she was "ready" which is understandable but she could have politely asked for it to be repeated or for us to slow down. Coffee was watered down. And food was fair and had great portion sizes. She overall was average but she's also the reason my rating is so low. I got the scrambler breakfast that consisted of biscuits topped with scrambled eggs with cheese, smothered in gravy with a side of hash browns. I could not resist ordering a side of bacon. This place already had fantastic reviews and I can see why! My fiancé ordered the breakfast burrito with everything in it, smothered in green chili and cheese. Service was kind and attentive as well. What a hidden gem! I have to admit, when I first walked in, I wasn't expecting much-- based off the decor and layout. But, my fiance wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction and the food ended up being phenomenal. I got the chicken fried steak with hash and eggs; it was perfectly done-- crispy and juicy. My husband took use for breakfast which included myself our 9 yrs old son and him and when we got there you could already tell by the look we got that we were not welcome. But my husband insisted we give them another chance.As we walked in the waitress said to sit ourselves so we did as told and sat down....we waited for at least 5 minutes before a waitress even acknowledged us to even give us a menu then she disappears around the corner and again we were waiting then an elderly white farming couple walked in and as soon as they reached a table the were greeted given a menu and two glasses of water even though my son 9yrs old,myself and my husband were still waiting to even see a menu !!!!!!! So we got up didn't make a fuss at all because why add to the disgusting behavior that was shown to my son by these racist Asshats!!! And the couple that walked in was a white elderly man & woman and us we are a Hispanic family of families that have lived in Ft. Collins for generations and it's sad to still see this especially when children are around. read more

I got a breakfast sandwich, with eggs, cheese and sausage between rye bread for $9. It was a hearty, delicious sandwich. My friend got the breakfast burrito that had eggs, cheese and mushrooms.
