We visited this restaurant while in Lawton for my brothers Army basic training graduation. The giant sign showing that the restaurant offers craft beer and burgers was immediately drawing. So we decided to give it a try. We were accommodated for having a bigger group and sat right away. Our waitress was very friendly and got our drinks right away. We ordered shortly after our drinks got to us and our food was out within 15 minutes. The good is the beer tasted great. I had a Hop Head Red. 8.1% and was $7.50. The waitress was incredible and the food came out really fast. The ambience was cool and the menu was unique and extensive. I ordered a burger that had pulled pork and an egg on it. Unique to me! I was disappointed when the food came out though. It dropped the rating big time. The burgers are very small. Like happy meal at McDonald's small. It was also burnt around the edges. The pulled pork tasted good. And the egg was cooked over easy perfectly. My brother ordered the burger of the month which is a ghost pepper burger. His burger patty was also very small. And the "ghost pepper sauce" was bland and not very spicy considering ghost pepper is one of the spiciest peppers in the world. Now to the fries. They looked promising. I love hand cut fries. But they were ruined by being very over salted. Like burn your tongue salty. The beer, although good, did not have a huge selection. Overall the food was small but decent tasting. The waitress was amazing. The beer was good. Probably would come back if we lived in town to try one of the sandwiches. read more

Great draft beers on tap, inside can be a bit cramped due to the extremely tall backboard facing the entrance door and walk thru to tables or bar area. Plenty of TV's to catch any game. Covered in rustic pictures and lots of retro license plates. I ordered the 24 hour black pepper brisket on hoagie. When it arrived though it was a soggy mess. The hoagie bun was split and the meat was just falling through. It was covered in excessive amount of shredded iceberg lettuce and lots of the sauce. It was great tasting shredded beef brisket but I think a regular hearty sized round bun would do this sandwich better justice. Not exactly eating a hot dog here. Cole slaw alternative to fries was appreciated and it was fresh and crunchy with a vinegar bite. Service was extremely nice and our server was readily available to get another draft without being too pushy or rude. Clean restrooms. read more

This place is the bomb! We came to town for our son's graduation from boot camp and visited Backporch because of it's awesome reviews. The food here is just amazing. I had the Riley burger tonight. It was very good. Next time, if I'm feeling adventurous, I'll try the Riley on Fire. Spinach artichoke dip and chips were above average. First time that I went to the infamous backporch drafthouse. We were a group of 10 people and our server was nice. She was fast with getting our stuff out. The burger is bomb.com but the fries were a little too salty. My friend had sweet potatoe fries and they were salted as well not very typical but still eatable. I give 1 star less for the fries. The other star is because of the beer! They do have a variety but the only 16 ounce beer they will give you is bud light. Coming from Germany that is quiet disappointing especially from a drafthouse. I like my beer real and normal sized if I wanted a sip of alcohol id drink wine. Overall place is great, burgers are good, server is super nice, nice atmosphere. Been here for lunch several times while in Lawton. I have tried to give it a fair chance and it seems to disappoint each time. Last time I had the ribs at the waitress suggestion. They were rubbery, mushy, and seemed to have been boiled instead of smoked or baked. I have tried hamburgers here as well and I was not impressed. Good food. Had the French dip and it was ok. Another guy got the farmhouse with the egg, which was really good. I think that the seating is very tight, the stools are hard on the tail end. If you are looking for a kind of loud, multi TV and lots of beer joint, then this is the place. read more

Just tried the Jalapeno Popper Bacon burger...it was awesome!!! Definitely recommend that with a delicious beer that they have...many great choices to choose from! They have a few local beers on draft and a lot more to choose from in a bottle. You can't go wrong with what they have! This is a great place to go to have a few drinks, good and to watch a game. I came in the morning on a Sunday for brunch and although the service/waitress was excellent (a Ms. Chantelle) the breakfast food was just not up to par with how well they do lunch and dinner. I ended up getting a lunch entree after a few bites of the breakfast and that ended up being good. I'd say stay away from their brunch menu until it improves. read more

O.M.G. I use to live in Portland OR. The self-described "brewhouse capitol of the US". Everyone has a burger, a drink, etc. They've got nothing on BackPorch... When we showed up, we had to wait a little longer than expected. Like - we almost walked out after no one talked to us for about 4-5 mins. They had like a minute and 30 seconds before we walked (we've even walked out of fast food places because of service) and someone finally snagged us and let us know it'd be just a minute longer. Another person came by and sat us down in a quiet corner. Once we were seated, we figured out why things were reviewed so well here. I think we had 4 girls waiting on our table throughout our meal. They admitted they got randomly swamped by multiple large groups yet the food was freakin perfect! We visited this place over a month ago and the food and staff are all amazing. What made me write this review was we had a group of 8 and arrived after a long day of traveling just as the kitchen was closing but the kind and lovely manager allowed us to order, and boy was it amazing. Everyone was very satisfied that our group came back a few days later. Our server, Jenny from Michigan, was top notch despite it being only her 2nd day, and made us feel right at home. The beer selection is good but only a couple wines to choose from. We waited for a table for about 30 minutes but it was a Saturday night so we weren't upset. Our second time here however, was less than expected. It was just the two of us the second time - the first was a group of six. The second time around my husband and I had slow service and the good was only mediocre. Great food and great service. Plenty of selection on the menu (burgers, sandwiches, sliders, appetizers, beer, etc). TV's with sports wall to wall playing. Decently sized establishment and wait staff is "Johnny on the spot". I had the Smokehouse burger and my buddy had the Crack'en burger, both w/fries, and shared the loaded bacon cheese fries w/jálepenõs. We were at Fort Sill and found the Back Porch on Yelp. Loved it! Atmosphere was great, wait staff was friendly. The food was the best we've had. My son had the brisket and said best sand which he had ever had. My husband had the burger that was on the special. He said all he remembered is it had the word "sweet" in it. Sorry. He is a cheeseburger freak so this was is the highest star in his book. I had the turkey & avocado Blt and wished I would have had the burger or brisket, but not because it wasn't good, it was amazing.
