Really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and selection of beer. I had the Seadog Blueberry Wheat and the fish n chips. The fish was Friday and a corn meal type of batter very good. Coleslaw was served in a vinegar base which was out of this world! The waitresses were very friendly and the staff Adjusted the TVs to the hockey game. Does no one watch hockey in Oklahoma? We have eaten at both back porch draft houses the one on Gore closer to the east side of Lawton is always great great food great staff music on the weekends and always seems to be busy,unfortunately the one close to my house on Cache Road we have not had great experiences with the food is not great does not compare to the other location and the staff does not seem as attentive and friendly read more

This was our first time at Backporch and it won't be our last. The place was full and the crowd was humming at a nice decibel, just right. We were greeted and seated right away. Very nice waitresses, polite, friendly and attentive throughout. Great menu! Lots of choices, including appetizers and salads. l ordered the large Kracken burger and fries, man was that good. Great food, like seriously incredible but the service was hooooorible. We won't be won't because of it. She brought out our bill which was right, she charged us for a whole (more expensive bill) and said it just gets overwhelming sometimes. The OG burger was nothing special. It was served with coleslaw that wasn't dressed properly. We ended up speaking with the waitress and having some additional sauce added to it because it was just a bland. Great food but it is kind of like a hooters. It is a bunch of "pretty" people that work there. Customer Service was ok and the girl that serving us did a little gentle flirting with my husband in hopes for a better tip. Little does she know that we have an agreement on who pays at dinner time. It is a small location so there isn't much privacy between tables and the tables were a little on the small side. In a small town area, this place is a solid option. Bunch of beers, not an expansive draft selection but definitely a decent one. But they're big! This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in a while, they offer a great selection of beer. From stouts to pale ales, and everything in between, the perfect place for your inner beer snob. The food is good, the best thing to get is the nachos. Their pepper brisket is to die for. Pretty waitresses, good food, bad service, and a worse beer list. Calling this place a draft house is a slap in the face to beer drinkers everywhere. My first visit I ordered a Budweiser and the snooty waitress gave me a hard time about drinking bud at a "draft house" and then didn't have the next three draft beers off their modest list. Every time since then it's the same story, out off everything or they just don't stock it anymore. The food is decent but doesn't make up for the consistently bad service. The final straw for me was when a waitress almost ran into me, spilled a beer on my feet, and then said "oh it's ok" with a tone that implied I was at fault and should have apologized. read more

Stopped in while traveling, the atmosphere at this place is awesome! Very rustic and original. Menu has great selections, good variety and portions are more than fair. I was visiting this place for many months sometimes both Saturday and Sunday. Recently, service has really declined, almost simultaneously when bricktown opened up. Last Saturday, the wings were half cooked, the bartender also tried to add other food purchases on my bill. This service is unacceptable and not a good representation of a restaurant clinging for survival. Finally a great locally owned/operated place to get really tasty food and drinks, in a cool laid back atmosphere. They have a decent selection of beers to choose from which is nice while watching the games. Make sure to get the homemade chips and queso, always on our list of how to start our the meal. Other favorites include the brisket sliders, cheese fries, turkey sandwich, and bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg. The staff has always been really friendly and nice and take good care of you. We always make it a point to ask them about their favorite to try something new. Only downsides are: parking is very limited and can be really crowed, and you have to wait for your entire party to arrive before being seated. read more

I was pleased to find out that this is a locally owned restaurant (with another one in Wichita Falls) and not yet another franchise outfit that keeps springing up all over the place. The food is amazing. There's plenty of variety, and the same goes with the beer selection. They also recommend what beer pairs best with whatever meal they serve. As far as atmosphere goes, I dunno. I've never been big on atmosphere. I've honestly really never gave a shit about what is hung on the walls. I go to a restaurant because I like their food and I'm hungry. As far as the place goes, it's not very big at all. And beings it's a popular local establishment, sometimes it can get pretty crowded in there. The prices are pretty reasonable, and their meals aren't small. I've yet to receive shitty service. And typing this review has made me hungry for Backporch so I'm ending it here. read more

Honestly the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant, the waitress was unbelievably rude, we had to ask several times for ONE refill. Our food took over an hour to come out and by the time it got to us it was cold and disgusting. I ordered a burger and it was soggy from im assuming the lettuce still being wet.
