EAT HERE! Worst part, by far, about this restaurant is the number of items on the menu I want to sample. I finally narrowed it down to three, then picked one at random. Was not disappointed! Server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were there (Lawton) for our son's ARMY Graduation and were running short on time to get him back to base. We let our server know this, and we had our food served within about 10 minutes. Their selection of draft beers was good enough. That's probably the only thing that made me consider dropping a star, but I figure that's just a matter of personal preference. Food was almost as good to eat, as it was to read about in the menu's descriptions. Restaurant was clean, appropriately lit, and the staff was very accommodating. I just wish we would have found it the first night we were there, so I could have tried more of their offerings. We will be going back to Lawton again in about 8 weeks. You can be sure we will return to this restaurant at least twice. I've got to try the other two items that made my short-list. Mother Porker is up first, followed by the Barnyard Freak. Have eaten here many times and have always had one of their burgers or nachos. Great place for a late lunch. They do get very busy during normal lunch and dinner times so I would recommend going at off times. The staff is always nice and responsive. read more

So we decided to try this restaurant based on the good reviews. Myself and my family could not have been more dissatisfied and completely unimpressed. The service was lacking to say the least. For a draft house their draft menu was pretty much nonexistent. We were hoping for a good amount of quality craft beers on tap which was not the case. My brother asked the server if they had any local beers on tap and her answer was that their local beer was Fat Tire. Well just because there is an Army base in Lawton OK does no make it Fort Collins CO. The burgers were decent in flavor, but if you are going to consider yourself a gormet burger joint, one thing that the server should ask is, "How would you like your burger cooked" our burgers were well over cooker and dry. The sweet potato fries were topped with sugar and they were not fries at all but they were waffle fries and there were only a small hand full of them on the plate. So I guess all things considered we should have had Mexican food. read more

This is my 5th visit here but only the second one to eat. The best I can say is that it's a cool looking Mancave Bar that has a good craftbeer selection and above average Pub Grub - a Restaurant it is not. However for Lawton standards it's above par for the course which confuses a lot of people who think it's a Restaurant instead of just another Bar Based Dining Option. We arrived there tonight at about 8pm, party of two, was met at the door by the manager who said it was about a 15 minute wait and that he'd go take a look to see if it might be less... never talked to him again but did see him stand with a table of 4 ladies chatting them up for a long time. The hostess sat us at a 2-top sandwiched between three other tables against the front window... got tired of every one who walked by bumping into us very quickly as there isn't enough walkway space in the Dinning Room. Our server never introduced herself, didn't do the "Have you been here before" routine - just "What do you want to drink" and then "are you ready to order food"... Note: Those are direct quotes!!! Food arrived at the table and then the server moved back to the table next to us - obvioulsy the couple there were her friends and she stood and chatted about her classes they shared and texted on her phone, ignoring multiple attempts to get her attention so we could get napkins and silverware as there were none on the table when we were seated. Finally I got her attention and she brought us Napkins, later we had the same issue getting her attention to get silverware. Busy place - tables packed, bar full, people waiting to be seated, and this server had time to stand around, in the dinning room mind you, chatting and texting - NICE huh? Food was good grub - too messy to eat for my tastes - had the Brisket and Mother Porker sandwiches... Brisket was very dry, over cooked and lacked any real flavor alone, and served on a comercial hoagie bun. The Mother Porker - great combination, smells and tastes great... but you need elbow length gloves and a full rubber apron to eat the dang thing - messy messy messy. Just too much sauce and the onions could have been cut thinner to hold more of the sauce between the buns (again commercial generic bun). Needed a shower afterwards to not feel sticky from the sauce! Well maybe not that bad but definitely was a messy - tasty - sandwich perfect for a bar. The one thing that will keep us from returning anytime soon though is the noise... it's been near an hour since we left and my ears still are ringing from the acute noise level in that place... they absolutely have to do something to attenuate the sound levels. Besides no one likes going to dinner with friends and having to yell at them across the table - right? All in all it's a nice addition to the Lawton Community - just clean up the staff and do something about the noise and I think it will improve the experience greatly. Oh and one big thing - everytime I go in there, it seems there's always at least 2 or more of the craft brew taps with a cup on the handle indicating the keg is dry. You'd think by now that they'd be keeping enough spare kegs in stock to keep this from happening. I wonder if it's a Stingy Owner, a Bad Bar Manager who doesn't know how to order kegs, or if the distributer is just that crappy and can't keep good beer in Lawton??? read more

Was crowded when we got there around 7pm on a Friday, but there was still a table available with no wait. Party of 3, we ordered 2 burgers and the chicken tenders. Everyone enjoyed the food- chicken tenders a bit salty but the chicken itself was juicy breast meat. Drinks and food came quickly, service was friendly. My husband and I love this place! A nice change from all the chain restaurants in lawton - I would give this place a 5 if it weren't for a few small things. Burgers and sandwiches are SO good and unique but the bun gets soggy and sometimes they get a little carried away with salt for my taste. But I love this menu and try something different everytime. Some of the waitresses are young and inexperienced but your still taken care of :) read more

If you like sweat potato fries or dont like them...it doesn't matter! They make these waffle sweet potato fries with brown sugar on them...it was a surprise to me but my god they were amazing. i could go there and just eat them....i actually have gone there to just eat them. This restaurant has a great environment and even better food. The wait staff were all very friendly and knowledgable and created a welcome environment for the entire family. I ordered the Kraken burger and was not disappointed. Well cooked with amazing flavors. The fries are excellent and salted just right. The beer menu has some great options with quite a few local brews and the menu even recommends what beer to pair with your selection. This place was awesome! Recommended by the hotel staff, and they were dead on. Wings were awesome - house BBQ, Thai, and Cajun. Man and cheese bites, brisket sliders, beer flights too. On top of that, they gave us excellent tips about Wichita mountains and where to visit before we head out of town. I work around customers passing through town or just moving here and when they ask me where to eat, I always recommend this place. Burger was super dry, service was terrible, atmosphere was kinda crowded, I can't see why this place is so popular in town.

First of let me start by saying I LOVE the decor and atmosphere in this place! So nice! The drinks are also really great. I think most of their signature drinks have moonshine which adds to the feel and keeps the number of drinks you need low. We had their sampler platter which was delicious, just a little heavy because it's all deep fried. I had the ribs and they were FANTASTIC! Will be going again! read more

1st time impression was really good. It's pretty small but their drink selection is good. Loved the service, the waitress was the best and kept our glasses filled up, for a group of 16 she did a great job. Only stickler was the automatic gratuity on our tabs, so watch out u may end up tipping twice. It's called gratuity for a purpose and shouldn't be forced on people. read more
