The char on the outside overpowered the dish rather than adding anything to it. As a certified food critic, consistency matters. A customer should receive the same quality whether they're dining in or ordering to go. I hope Brick Town Brewery takes this feedback seriously and works toward delivering the same standard of food across all orders.

We have come in a few times now. I must say that every time I have come in, I have left thinking of when I could come back. The first time we came in, the the manager came up to our table and checked on us, and made small talk.The food was exactly what we wanted. Lots of variety, yet simple. I had a Barnyard Freak, it was perfect. The fries are soooooo good. The food has been amazing everytime we go. But one thing that stands out is how often I actually see the management, and how interactive they are. It seems like they only have a couple of managers, but somehow they manage to talk to us every time in the midst of bringing food to tables, carrying kegs up, holding doors open, bussing tables, all with a genuine smile on their face. I difnt realize people enjoyed their jobs anymore, but its evident here.I almost feel invited when I go in there. Tonight the manager, came up to us and said she recognized us from the first time we came in and told us she was very happy to see us back. She gave us her name and said anytime we need something to let her know. Its nice to have a local restaurant to go to with people who care running it. If I get a choice of where to eat, it's Backporch all day. Delicious food, great service, and the beer selection is pretty great as well. Must try if you haven't alreadt. read more

I came in visiting friends out of town and was pleasantly surprised by this little gem. The food is fresh and creative...the burgers here are awesome. The fresh cut fries are so addicting. The best part about it was that service...every other restaurant in town has the WORST service. Like, make you want to verbally hand it to the server bad. Not the case here. I had a little bubbly server and she was attentive and smiley enough and I had never had to ask for anything. On to the brews: This was what shocked me the most. They actually had some craft beers on draught. It was so nice to see a broad variety of flavor profiles here, not just 5 different domestics and Shiner Bock. The beers they have are well picked from great breweries and the bottle program is pretty diverse too. Not to mention they know what the beer is. ( i.e. you ask for an IPa anywhere else and they have to go google it. Please help me!) I'm feelin this place. From the crack fries to the sweet beer selection to the vintage pics of beer ads in the bathrooms. If you are hungry in L-town, save yourself from the depths of Applebee's and come to Back Porch. read more

Watch out for the 24% tax on your beer ticket ... It's great to have a craft brew place in Lawton. The more the better. The Backporch is a very clean establishment and it is surprising how many people can fit into this small place. The waitresses are friendly and do their best to help you select the right food and drinks. I do hope the owners change out and rotate the draft beer selections. It would get pretty boring fast if we continue to see the same ole craft draft beers week after week. I was shocked to see them charge 25 cents to taste the beers. This is the first place I have ever been that did that! Also charging 50 cents extra to put lime on your glass without even asking is very strange to me. Again, hope the place continues to do well and that Lawton sees more TRUE craft beer pubs open up. read more

My husband, our 2-year-old baby, and I had a delightful dinner at this charming restaurant in Lawton, Oklahoma. We ordered the pulled pork sliders and the brisket sliders, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The flavors were spot-on, the presentation was impressive, and the service was excellent. I also enjoyed a frozen margarita served in a shaker, which was delicious. I would have loved to have a second one, but I was already full and satisfied. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal and fantastic service. read more

We are regulars at Back Porcch Drafthouse. Tonight we were there and someone who was a minority was there and they thought we were not people who should be there, so we were told to leave because the person who was not the one that should be there. Shame on you for reverse discrimination. We were ganged up on by black people and told to leave. The only reason I can see is that we are white people. The person who was in charge was a black person. Love this place and most of their staff, probably won't be back. Discrimination at it's best! read more

Always great service! Amazing beer selection! Our favorite place in Lawton! The first time my husband and I went to the backporch we were immediately greeted and asked to sit at the bar. We had great bar service and the bartender let us sample the frozen redbull vodka. It was sensational! I had a Riley burger with a fried egg and the jalapeño bacon relish was the perfect blend of sweet and spicy with a fried egg that had yummy yolk goodness adding flavor the every bite! This place has a great enviroment and one heck of a bar!!! I was here visiting family and they ask me if I wanted to go. I'm glad I did! I ordered the double wide with a side of cheese fries. Burger ranks up there with my favorites that I get in my home town!! Never heard of craft beer but I did not feel out of place due to our server there. Stopped at Backporch Drafthouse for lunch today and to catch some of the football playoffs. I make it a habit to frequent restaurants where the waitresses are professional, friendly and smile a lot! I love it when I catch Chantelle at work! She is a very professional young lady, always has a smile and is one of my favorite waitresses in Lawton! Crappy service and overpriced food. Our salads came out on tiny plates instead of bowls and we waited over 5 minutes before being greeted by our waitress even though many servers walked by and saw us sitting with no service. Honestly I was surprised when I sat down at the bar. I didn't have to wait very long at all for a beer. I got a Coop F5 and a Rueben...probably the best sandwich I've had in a long time. A personal rule of mine is when you go to a restaurant and the food is good, the dessert is usually bad and vice versa. This little hole in the wall broke my rule. Not only were the burger amazing, the Banana Cream Pie was exquisite. Will be visiting again.
