The food is good but there is random upcharges that you aren't warned about. We asked for a side of mustard and mayo for our kids and they charged us a dollar for them. They also didn't warn that it was almost $3 for sweet potato fries as a side. The food also took a long time to come out. Went to Backporch and waited for 12 minutes to be seated. There was only one table in the dining room that had people seated. They never acknowledged that we were there. Poor service. This has happened a couple of times now. We just left. Won't be back again. Tell the boss the hostess needs to be at her station. read more

Went there today for lunch and the food was great but the service and server wasn't. She messed up on one of our orders, she wasn't very friendly and we had to ask her multiple times for things that she "forgot". I know serving is hard but I really got the feeling this young lady didn't like her job. Not one time did I see her smile. The bartender was super friendly and kind. I have to put up a new review. They've changed the menu. Boy it has changed and for the good. The night we went their catfish plate was a special. I ordered it and it was great. I couldn't finish it. The tarter sauce was called green tomato tarter sauce. It wasn't green. I'm not a big fan of tarter sauce but this homage sauce was delicious. And this place has redefined, for me, what coleslaw is. It has a light vinigrette instead of heavy mayoanise dressing. I'll not go back. The staff was great too. Nicole, our waitress was wonderful. We had a nice relaxing dinner. If you have special need kids who are bothered by noise etc this isn't the place to go during the rush. It's very loud. But off hours ask for a booth and they will probably do okay. I had the French dip with fries. Really good, the fries are skinny, I love those kind. French dip was perfect, nice bun to meet ratio, very tasty. Fried pickles are a good choice for appetizer, nice size basket with ranch dipping sauce. Menu choices are vast, I had a hard time making a choice. Friendly staff. A little pricey for what you get. Went there with relatives from out of town and anything that could have gone wrong did. They kept messing up our drink order. The server kept bringing my wife the wrong drink then had the nerve to tell us they would only credit one drink! Best burger and fried pickles I've had in a very very very long time. I secretly always compare coleslaw to one another and find myself more often disappointed than not but there coleslaw vinaigrette is fire. The service is great too. First time here. There were 7 of us and I won't go again. My whiskey sour was lemon based, no grenadine. When asked the bartender said, "its the way we do ot, did you want grenadine"? First strike. We all ordered a starter. My jalapeños were overcooked a lot. My friends pretzel was laying on a tray drowning in butter, it wasn't edible. $26 for 2 single shot drinks and fried jalapeños is a bit crazy, especially if it's bad. read more

Went here not to longer ago to see the Cowboys play and Wow! The atmosphere was clean and open and the service was fantastic. The host and server were very friendly and did there job well. They had a lot of interesting food but most of it was mediocre. If your looking for a good time and just to relax and has some fun then this is the place. read more

SOME of the food was really good, like the green salad with salmon. Delicious! Fresh ingredients. The Philly sandwich was also really tasty. Anything from they fryer was disgusting. This place is awesome. Servers are friendly and service was fast. The food was fabulous for a local joint, which by the way is what we were searching for, was spot on. The had a good selection of drinks, and a menu that had a variety of items to select from. The prices for the food you get was very reasonable! If I am ever in the area again, it will definitely be a repeat spot! The fried pickles and some kind of loaded fries were awesome and disappeared faster than I could take a picture of them. Came here with a buddy while I'm in town for training aboard fort sill. Arrived and tried one of the octoberfest beers, delicious. Then I ordered wings, half dry rub and half classic. Both were amazing. My buddy ordered fried pickles. Those were good too but the wings were better in my opinion. We both ordered the kraken burger. The burger came with fries, my fries had a hair in it. I. Outfield the sever and she swapped them out with fresh fries no issue. The food was amazing overall. The service was great in terms of kindness, consistency, timeliness and in general. I would recommend this place for anyone new to the area. read more

Giving 3 stars because I usually enjoy everything I get here, but tried the chicken and waffles at brunch this morning and was not a fan. Presentation was nice, but the food itself just didn't cut it. Chicken wasn't seasoned at all, not even a hint of any type of flavor anywhere. The waffles were very soft, and I tend to enjoy a waffle crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. Overall, would still eat here again as I love going to Backporch. read more

This is my favorite spot in Lawton. Great selection of beer. Their "Bob" burger is amazing. I get it every time. It has ham, bacon, beef, an egg. So much protein and it's the same price as most of their other food. They also have amazing queso. It's a good ambiance for sports and for a younger crowd. They could definitely spice up their cocktail menu, but prices are fair and their food is the best in Lawton! read more

Only negative that I have is that fries weren't all that good. The environment was good, the customer service was great. My favorite part of my visit was definitely the CoronaRita; it was so good I needed two lol.
