An oasis of high quality service, friendly faces, beer as cold as a polar bear's toes and whiskey as strong as the love child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and The Rock. When I first happened upon this serendipitous establishment, I was greeted by the elegant Madam Mercedes. Her warm smile melted this bitter man's heart like a tall stack of flapjacks melts a heaping smear of whipped butter. She promptly ushered us to the table, and then my life changing dining service truly began... Though I was overwhelmed with the vast selection of enticing and mouth-watering options, Mercedes elegantly navigated is through the vast sea of entrees just as Christopher Columbus did to cross the tumultuous sea to this great country. Upon this fair maiden's enticing suggestion, I dared to start my historic dinner outing with a combination of the Queso Fries and the Dry Rub Wings. Mercede's recount of the delicious nature of both of these items was as precise as an Olympic Archer aiming at his target in the hunt of gold medal for personal and national honor. The queso atop the mountain of hand-cut fries was so rich and divine, that I would not be remotely surprised if it was curated directly from the Dairy King of Wisconsin. And the wings? Must have come plucked from the fabled Golden Goose of the epic forlorn Greek legends. My taste buds might as well as have strapped on a padded helmet and hopped on to Evil Kinevil's motorcycle with the madman, because they were taken for a RIDE. As if my life of dining could not have already peaked, next M'lady Mercedes came hither forth with the fabled Kraken Burger, and with a side of Cajun spices gravy for my SECOND helping of fries. This burger is rumored to have taken the souls of weaker men before, and being but a humble man of Shady 580 origins I was understandably hesitant to accept the challenge of taking down this behemoth. Had it not been for the encouragement of Mercedes, I might have failed where so many lesser men had done so before and had to resort to the request of the repugnant togo box. For all I'm aware, Mercedes must have been the living embodiment of the entire Dallas Cowboys Cheerleading ensemble, because her melody of encouragement and edification allowed me to rise victorious! Her secret tactic for downing the Kraken was the use of the spicy gravy. Rumor has it that this amazing and delectable gravy sauce has anti-aging properties to the consumer, but the government is attempting to conceal it's truth for fear of an eternal youth. It must be true, because the only way that the marvelous Mercedes could have refined such skill in attending to the patrons needs must have been acquired over thousands, if not millions of years of refining the art. I've had a couple bad experiences at the Back Porch on Gore which is the closest to my house. I will gladly go out of my way to the Back Porch on Cache Road! The staff are amazing at both locations but the food is far superior at the Cache Road location. Three times I've had un edible orders at the Gore location. I ordered the steak fingers one time and i swear there was no meat just super salty batter. The second time I had a bad experience was we got the chips and salsa and cheese we were so disappointed cause the cheese was lukewarm at best. The third and final time I will visit the Gore location was when I saw the April sandwich special. The roast beef sandwich description looked awesome so we went and I ordered it. I was surprised when the sandwich came out cold. I told the server it was cold and she offered to have it warmed up if I didn't like it I asked if it was supposed to be cold and the manager overheard and told me the sandwich was designed to be cold they were very nice and offered to make something else, but I figured it was my mistake so I just ate the fries. I stayed away from Back Porch for about 3 weeks all locations. Saturday we went to the Cache road location for brunch and I had my mind set on a brunch item but I asked if the sandwich of the month was supposed to be cold and she almost laughed at me and explained it well. I ordered the April Roast beef sandwich at the Cache road location and it was delicious exactly how I thought it would be based on the Facebook description. I plan on never going back to the gore location the staff has always been super friendly but the food is not consistent like the Cache road location! read more

A small work bunch came in for lunch on a week day, had AMAZING service by Danielle. She was super helpful, answering questions for the ones who aren't as familiar with the place. She stayed on top of our order, even though the kitchen took a bit. Danielle bounced from table to table with a smile. Those working with her were more interested in chatting amongost themselves. They did not take away the great lunch we had! I made a second trip on the weekend with my kids. QWas blessed enough to get Danielle again. Crazy thing is she remembered my food order, just the way I like it! Going forward I will be calling ahead to make sure she is working before I venture in. She's a gem! I hope the rest of the crew know just how amazing she is. Again, on this trip I seen her helping deliver food to tables not by what I assume was her section. Good place for over priced bar food. I ordered the chicken fried steak. The breading was very crispy just the way I love it. But...... the meat had no taste and the gravy was bland even though it was suppose to be jalapeño gravy. Even the 4 slices of jalapeño were extremely mild and didn't tease normal. Ate here for lunch last Tuesday - all around great experience. Ordered the avocado sandwich and had two different beers. All were amazing. The fries definitely taste fresh and are easily addictive. Our waitress was great, and the other girls who were around were friendly/nice too. The place had a good vibe and I liked the set up. This has to be one of the best places in Lawton to go when you're looking for a good meal and drink. They do daily special items which helps keep things interesting. They feature a burger of the month too. Love that they do tap take overs with different brewery beers coming in at the bar. They are will into work with you and build your perfect meal (even if it was a previous burger of the month... Ask for it, they may just make it for you!). Waitress staff is always great... This is a great restaurant , everything tasted great although we got our appetizer after our entree so we just took home. I got fish tacos, which were made with cod so were delicious. My husband hit a burger which he said was great, fries were tasty. Price was excellent and we got to go cups of our drinks got no extra. I haven't had their mixed drinks but they're available if ur I. The mood. It gets a bit noisy so it def not a place to talk if ur hard of hearing. The only complaint would be the location on Gore doesn't have good parking & the parking lot has a huge chug hole on the side street entrance. I recommend trying them out. read more

I was born in Lawton but unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you're looking at it, I wasn't raised here so I know nothing about what's good and not. I love that they have suggested beer pairings for each burger you order. The menu items are relatively cheap! Lots of side dish options. And they have a pretty decent happy hour. I ordered a burger and it was amazing! Juicy and flavorful with a side of sweet potato fries. The waitress was absolutely a doll. Friendly and quick service. The music wasn't too loud but I could see this place getting a little crazy during peak hours. My one and only complaint is there was a massive amount of flies! So between bites it was a constant swatting battle of keep away from the flies. But honestly, I've notice the flies are just bad in town period right now. Other than that I enjoyed everything. This was pretty good. I have to tell you, the Double Wide burger with everything on it is without a doubt a delicious burger. Great bun, toasted and crispy on the inside; nice beef patties, thick and juicy; the cheese was still hot and melted when it came out. Great burger. The sweet potatoe fries were not that good. I can't put my finger on what was missing but they just didn't do it for me. The service was ok. No complaints but nothing spectacular. The waitress did keep my water full and kept up the small talk. So my first time here was the worst service I've had in any restaurant in about 7 or 8 years. I sat at the bar, and they weren't busy. I gave them a second chance, Brandy was the waitress and everything was perfect. I gave them a 3rd chance, Lacey was the server and the quality again was great. We flew in to watch our son graduate boot camp and found this little hidden gem. Definitely didn't disappoint. Great food, fast service and no sticker shock when you get the ticket. We went here for lunch and got there around 11am, but it was already packed especially the dining area so we sat at the bar area. The servers do wear shorts and a tank top here kinda like Hooters, but not too inappropriate. The place is a little cramp so people at other tables are close to you. Everything sounded great at the moment, but I ended up getting The OG with fries. I wanted to order cocktails/beer, but unfortunately it was lunchtime and I had to get back to work haha. So I got a sweet tea and the tea was sweet, but not overly sweet, it was really good. Even though it was packed, we got our food in about 10 minutes. When they brought out the orders I was like they are sure generous with the fries! The fries were really crispy. I had to take some to go because I was so full. For the burger, the meat was not too red and it was perfectly seasoned. As for the service, we had both the host and a server working our tables, both were very nice and genuine, didn't try to hard. The server came to our tables like 3 times asking if everything was okay. When we ask for something they brought it to our tables right away.
