Solid seafood place near Coquitlam Centre…read more Parking is available in the lot in front of the building. The place looks nice and modern. Comfortable cushy chairs, and wooden trim. Staff are friendly but understaffed. Once the place filled up they were swamped. Signature steamed seafood pot - definitely on the pricey side, but they don't skimp out. Special mention for the presentation. Plenty of goodies including an entire lobster, half a large octopus (tenticle/arm half), snails, oysters, scallops, prawns, and fish balls among others. Basically everything without fish. Served in a large tray (the ones seen at banquet buffets), and everything cooked in broth. This was enough to probably feed 4-5 adults (assuming average appetites). So pretty. Deep fried squid with fries - honestly this dish was meh. Basically exactly what it sounds like. Squid is tempura style. Nothing special. I'd skip this one. Bossam (pork belly wraps) - served with tofu and spicy kimchi and some vegetable (kelp?) as well. They don't really give enough wraps compared to the pork slices. Decent portion size. My friends and I gobbled this up. This place also serves makgeolli (Korean rice wine) for a very reasonable price. Goes well with the food. Overall my friends and I left happy. Wouldn't mind coming back at some point to try some other dishes. Recommended.

All the reviews about Henry's Kitchen intrigued me and it did not disappoint. The food was superb…read more I just wish I had more space in my stomach to try more dishes. The linguine pescatora has a generous portion of fresh seafood. I was drinking the light spicy tomato sauce because I couldn't get enough of it. This dish was top notch! We also had the beef bourguignon. The vegetables accompanying the beef created a taste and texture adventure. Each bite tasted different and more interesting than the next. The beef so was tender and the risotto helped us scrape and eat every bit of the sauce off the plate. It was THAT good. We would definitely return for another culinary adventure!

However, we really enjoy the food and coziness of the room so we have continued to make Henry's one of our regular dining experiences. We were going to make reservations for later this month when I noticed a line on their website saying that a 20% gratuity had been added to the bill. I thought that maybe it was a line that had been added on because of New Year's Eve or at that the prices on the menu now reflected the 20% gratuity and no further tipping would be required. My husband sent an email to Henry's asking them to clarify what the policy was. We received a response from Jasmine "20% will be add on. It does not refer only to groups but also to each individual consumer". Sadly, we will not be going to Henry's anymore. The food is very good but the prices are already very high. We were at a Seasons in the Park last night. Their prices are less than Henry's. The setting is nicer, service was outstanding and food is very bit as good as Henry's.

Korean style Ramen? Super Hero themed Ramen bar? Not too sure what to call Ramengers, but I can…read moretell you that it is delicious! Honestly we didn't know what to except when we first rolled up. But its good to know that they have their own (though limited) parking area in front of the restaurant. The restaurant did have a bar kind of vibe, but I think its mostly due to covid. Lots of local and small restaurants had to adjust. Making more space for take out order and leaving more space for customers to spread out. Once seated the menu was super straight forward. Ramen Ranging from $15-$17. Broth made from pork, beef and chick bones. Noodles made in house (which is amazing). They are also offering Korean comforts like Gukbap, [a comforting, traditional Korean dish consisting of hot soup served with rice.] - google ai . Perilla Ramen, a Korean sesame leaf or grounded seed, bringing a nutty flavour to the dish. Of course if you're feeling like sharing then they have some dumplings and fried chicken to share. We specifically wanted to order the Smoked Pork ($10.25). It did not disappoint. It had a good ratio of fat and meat and it melted in the mouth. Very little chewing needed. The pickled radish was a fantastic and refreshing palette cleanser. I think the only disappointing part was that there wasn't enough pork. We also ordered: Regular Ramen $14.95 Perilla Ramen $16.75 I believe that all the ramens come with a nice chunk of smokey fall-apart pork, a jammy egg and green onions. But I do love how they had the corn, spinach and mushroom on the side (for those picky eaters). Ramengers feat. Smoking Pig are doing something right for sure! I heard that the spicy ramen is highly raved about. I'm excited to try it on my next visit. Keep up the good work! Also check their socials for updates.

The menu is simple and you would expect the quality to be very good. However I was very disappointed. The broth is a pork bone broth but on the lighter side. Not much oils or fats in it. The price is really good for a bowl of ramen that includes an egg, chashu, and some side veggies. The soup did not come piping hot though. The noodles are the worst part. They are super soggy from the very beginning and worse than instant noodles. That is where the majority of the score is lost. Another thing is that the spicy ramen level 3 is extemely spicy. Like a level 7 and higher. Not recommended for anyone looking for medium spicy. Since this is a korean japanese fusion, they serve perilla ramen and fried chicken. The fried chicken had a different batter than other korean fried chicken places. It's nice and crispy but the downside is that there is too much batter and the chicken is not juicy at all.
