    Side Mac-N-Cheese

Went for lunch on Father's Day. It was busy but not overwhelming. It was just my son and I so we had a very little wait time to be seated. Food was good as usual. Went with the burgers and wings. I wish the wings would have came out sooner than the burgers but not a huge deal. My son loved the Mac n cheese I tried it and was good. Creamy and cheesy! Burgers were cooked to perfect temp as requested. Our waitress I believe her name was Katie was very attentive and checked on us frequently. Would recommend.

We stopped in, and you should too. After a bit of a slow start due to their staffing issues, our waitress was personable and attentive. The menu has great choices that I haven't seen elsewhere. I ordered chicken salad in a bread bowl, and it was really delicious. The bowl is topped with cheese and popped in the over, so it arrives hot. The bread bowl had a wonderfully crispy crust and tender inside, and the chicken salad was warm and tasty. I've had soup bread bowls, but not hot and crispy, and of course, not chicken salad. The sides menu is a long list; I chose onion rings. They were plentiful, crunchy, and very flavorful - as far from the heavily breaded limp onion rings most places serve as you could get. We ate in the late afternoon, but the place still had several parties like us. We liked the vibe, casually upscale, and unpretentious. Go!

We had 8 members from our lunch group here today for lunch. Great service...waitress set up a high table for eight and took our drinks quickly. We had three orders for the Madarin Chicken Salad, two pizzas, a prime rib sandwich, a hamburger, and a chicken wrap. Also had a side order of the truffle parmesan fries. The fries were great and everyone liked them. The Mandarin Chicken Salad was also very good, loaded with mandarin oranges, crisp lettuce, nuts and tons of other goodies. The salad dressing was fabulous. All three of us liked it. Pizzas were great and so was the hamburger and wrap. All in all it was one of our top rated lunches this year. We rate everything on a 10 scale so it ended up with a 9.25 average...so half to give it a 5 based on the Yelp 5 star system.

We for lunch meeting, food and service were great! Want to go back since there was some interesting options I wasn't able to try this time. We started with the loaded nachos and they were a hit, they did not skimp on the meat or the cheese, each chip had a topping. The wraps were on the lighter side could have had more filling, but tasted good. The fries were basic not a fav, but the onion rings were awesome. The chicken pot pie soup was delicious. It's a great space with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating along with a full bar inside. The peanut butter pie was delicious, it was very tasty!

So thankful for a covered dog friendly patio on a chilly and rainy day! The host was so nice to our pup, he immediately brought her out a bowl of water and a cup of whipped cream with treats! Love the patio, I would sit out there even if we hadn't brought our dog. The patio is covered, has heaters for when it's cool out and on a Saturday all of the TVs were playing college football. The steak is incredible here and the main reason we came for dinner. Portion sizes are amazing, you get two sides plus a soup or salad with the sirloin. The steak was perfectly cooked and I really liked both the chicken florentine and beef chili soup options. Plenty of free street parking. This place will be on a regular rotation while I'm in Columbia!

I have learned since moving to South Carolina that there are very few dining options available on a Sunday for brunch. If you do find anything, be prepared to wait excessively. Today we drove to Columbia, and as usual massive crowds upon entering. What was different what was how it was handled. One staff member took our drink order while our server was tied up. She was adorable, her name was Tamara.. Our server , Jacob, was so sweet and apologized for making us wait. He made great suggestions on entrees especially the Cajun pasta. It was amazing with a spicy sauce., blackened chicken and asparagus. They know how to deal with massive crowds and also make sure quality and service don't suffer. Really impressive. Should you go? Absolutely...

Came in on a Friday night, not too crowded and easily grabbed a seat at the bar. Bartender was great and attentive. Started with the mussels, not great, but good. Large portion and only one was closed. Then got the crab cake sandwich, again, good but not great. Though I didn't have a bad experience at all, I was expected the food to be better.

Came here for a social with my gym members. Service was nice and the food was actually quite delicious. Multiple different seating areas to fit anyone's liking. The drinks are also amazing and I definitely see myself coming back to visit again to try the pizza next time.

Our group had chicken tenders, big burger, and the crab cake sandwich, all with the truffle parm fries and mostly enjoyed everything. Personally, I thought the crab cake sandwich was good-not great, but the fries weren't good. They were soggy, drenched in too much truffle oil and the cheese didn't taste like parm to me. But, Natalie's takeout customer service was excellent!

    Plenty of comfortable seating

We came for a late lunch after reading about their onion rings. Our timing was perfect because most people had left so we had a very comfortable booth. Music was not overly loud We both had club sandwich and onion rings Because one order was big enough to share. Our server, Alex, was outstanding and took good care of us. We have found a new favorite restaurant!

Besties trying something NEW in South Carolina.

The atmosphere was nice but the food was "blah"... it wasn't my cup of tea and it didn't spark my tastebuds. I really don't don't have alot to say.

Sesame Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna with Asian Kale Salad

Stopped here for the first time to meet a friend for lunch. Got here right when they opened, staff were immediately friendly and welcoming as I headed to the bar. The interior is a nice, comfy design featuring a nice modern look with gamecock memorabilia as decorations. Our bartender was awesome, friendly and very helpful in recommending food for first timers. She recommended the sesame crusted ahi on top of the kale salad for me, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Bright flavors with the bitterness of kale, and the fresh flavors of ahi made the salad a solid 9/10 for me. My counterpart got the chicken wrap and had the chicken tossed in honey sriracha, which was outstanding as well. For a lowkey, main staple on Devine, this is a solid place to go and spend some time.

I've been several times and tried different things and it's always been good. The bone in ribeye specula was outstanding.

    What's the parking like?

There's some rear parking, along the side (like enough for 4 cars), street parking of course with a small walk depending on distance, but they do provide valet.

I'd say that it was slightly above average. They had a decent selection of beers on tap, and my friend definitely liked their selection of wines. I got some of the croissants as an appetizer, which were good, but a little expensive for what you were actually getting. I got the chicken tenders and fries to eat, which were solid, but nothing otherworldly. I do think my guest liked her meal, although I'm not completely sure what it's called. As for the service and ambiance, California Dreaming is definitely the darkest restaurant I've ever been to, which I guess is either a pro or a con based on personal opinion. I presume that it would be a good spot for a date night, but maybe not the best spot for casual dining (which is obviously the point of a restaurant like California Dreaming). Our server was nice, relatively attentive, and I'd say that he did a good job overall. All-in-all, I debated giving the restaurant either three (3) or four (4) stars, but I ultimately went with four (4). It was a unique experience, but I won't necessarily be rushing back. I think that has as much to do with personal taste than anything that they did wrong or right, however.

So quick bites and campus tours are always good. Started off with expresso martins, honey butter croissants and seafood nachos. All were good and the nachos are a staple. Both wife and mom missed the heart of palms salmon salad that was offered for years along with some other menus changes. We settled on the she crab soup and house salads with extra dressing along with the full rack of ribs. Again everything good but we miss the old menu or the one similar to the dinner menu in Charleston. The waitress was very attentive and apologetic as we had a party of 10 and not able to sit together but in the same area. Overall good vibe and food as always.

Still on a high from celebrating my friend's birthday at Champagne Restaurant & Lounge!…read more Let me just say... a TIME was HAD! From the moment we walked in, the service was top tier. Nae was attentive, welcoming, and professional. We dove into their Wednesday $20 lamb chop meal (yes, you read that right--tender, juicy, and full of flavor), and their appetizers came out hot and seasoned to perfection. Plus, they offer 25% off all adult beverages until 7:30PM, Wednesday through Friday--and trust me, we took full advantage! The custom cocktails made by Tym were unique and SO good. All while vibing to smooth R&B that kept the mood just right. Grown, sexy, and chill. I feel like good seafood spots in Columbia are limited, and I didn't want to try somewhere new and end up disappointed, so I stuck with what I knew. The food here is usually pretty consistent. I also hadn't been to this specific location in at least a year, When we entered the foyer, we were immediately met with a strange smell--honestly, it smelled like sewage. At first, I thought it was just me, but other customers who came in behind us and were waiting on their orders noticed it too, and we actually talked about it. Once you walked into the dining area, the smell was gone, which was a bit of a relief. Still, the smell of sewage is never appealing, especially in a place that serves food. Anyway, we got our boil bags and left. Overall, the food was just okay. My main complaint was the size of the crab legs--they were very small and barely had any meat. I wanted two clusters and a half-pound of shrimp, but unfortunately that particular option is no longer on the menu, which made it more expensive to customize than ordering one of the preset boil bags. Let's just say it wasn't worth it. My family got the sausage and shrimp bags those had a better quantity of food. The shrimp were good, but I was very disappointed with the crab legs. I probably won't be back, mainly because what I paid didn't really measure up to the food I received. That said, the staff was nice.
