This is not a place for people without children. We went at 7 pm on a Saturday. It was little red with children. The play areas were wild. Lots of people not wearing masks. You had to order at the bar counter but waiting in line took 20 minutes. Ordering took 10, and it took an hour to get 3 kids meals and 2 burgers. I'm glad we didn't order a pizza. The pizzas were behind for HOURS. Lots of complaining. It's over priced for what it offers and is very dirty. There is very minimal parking. Drinks are sold separately. The food was gross. Just overall not a great time. I can imagine this is a good place for people with kids to go and let's the kids run around but it's just not for me and I will not be back. read more

This spot has a really cute environment. It has fun little games like corn hole, connect four, and a playground for kids which is nice. The drinks and food weren't bad, but they definitely weren't my favorite. The drinks were watered down, and we got the wrong drinks a few times but the server was super nice. If i had no where else to go I would probably come back here but its not at the top of my list. read more

Our family of 5 came here to eat, drink, and watch the Dallas game. We checked in with the hostess and she pointed out a table that would be ready soon. We waited for the table to be cleared and as we approached the table another guest sat down and said she had been promised the table by someone at the bar. Fortunately another table was about to be be available so we didn't argue to point. However, before we left I did mention to the manager what had happened and that they should make it clear that only the hostess should take care of reserving and seating guests. She said that this could not have happened to us which i took as calling me a lair. Then I had her verify with the bartender that it actually happened she made no attempt to correct the situation. I paid out $200 tab and as I left I gave the manager one more chance to admit that they were wrong and she refused. We will never go back there again. read more

Very ordinary over priced bar food. The playground was ok, but there is also an area that has tables they are fixing with exposed nails and wet paint. They also decided to add their own tip to my bill after the only service provided was by the cook. I'm pretty sure the cook will not recieve that tip. I do not recommend. read more

This place was a waste of time. I arrived for Brunch with an appetite while expecting to eat some homemade, delicious bbq. Don't be fooled by the exterior design, this place is far from a legit bbq shack. They serve hot dogs on a piece of bread as a menu item. A bag of chips compliments the hot dog (no fries or potato salad or any of your traditional bbq trimmings are served at this place). Heck, most of the items on the menu weren't even available lol. The brisket nachos were atrocious too. Why have big and beautiful bbq grills on display if you aren't going to use them to feed the people? Forget asking about a cocktail. They ran out or forgot to restock on the liquor too. Your best bet, or at least my best bet, was to order canned Miller Lite. Seemed to be the only option. I had the worst experience. The staff was alright. But the food and beer selection was a major, major disappointment. I will not be returning, and in fact, i will try to save some of yall the hassle of attending by recommending that you do not show up with an appetite because you will be severely disappointed, like i was. This place is awesome! Much needed in SA. Backyard with an awesome play ground for kids, dog area for dogs, corn hole, swings (that I even was on), you can go on the roof for a quieter time, a stage, and awesome bartenders. James the bartender was amazing at making our drinks. I met Joshua one of the other bartenders who was just there as a customer. Great staff. They have food trucks that set up. They are not always open. The chili food truck was open when we ordered, but there is another one that is set up. I can't wait to try it. This is THE SPOT! Arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday night, it was not yet very busy but a fair amount of tables were dirty or not bussed. We were sat and greeted by a server who then went to serve the table next to us. We sat at our table for over 30 mins with a baby and a toddler without anyone coming back to take our order or even get waters. Multiple servers in the area but we were ignored, finally we got up to leave and the manager gave us a half hearted apology. An absolute gem and the staff was genuinely kind, which is a rarity. I just loved the set up! The play ground was super fun for my two girls, (ages 4 and 2) the equipment was in great condition and you could tell that the facility was clean and well maintained. The outdoor set up was decked out with misters, fans and shade, which was perfect for the Texas heat. It was super relaxing having a drink while my girls played, the brisket potato skins were delish and the babies loved the chicken tenders and fries - a total win for the whole family. The staff members were very accommodating. They turned the misters on for my girls and really made my birthday lunch special (thank you ;)! read more

The staff was so nice and helpful. HOWEVER our food was so flavorless and cold. We got a kids cheese pizza, fries, sampler, and the salad. The playground was also crowded with 11-12 year olds just sitting there not allowing my 5 year old to actually play. Maybe an age restriction would help with that problem, but who knows. Our waitress stated that there was no tip included on our receipts. So in addition to the 20% tip left, there was also gratuity of 16% on the receipt. Giving it 5 stars cause me and the kids love going to hang out here. Good service and food. Not much shade/fans outside during the summer and limited views to the TVs outside during games. Great playground, the position of it concerns me being by the entrance, there isn't a gate or anything blocking someone from coming in possibly grabbing a kid or a kid running off. I really wanted to like this place. Everything was fine until the end. They automatically charge you a 20% gratuity over a $100. We usually tip that much but they do not inform you they automatically charge you. So on top of the 20% they are already getting more for whatever you tip. Heads up to fellow patrons. Also they do not allow anyone under 21 after 9pm so if you have kids don't bother coming in the evening. read more

So my hubby has been wanting to come here. He met the owner on one of his walks. We went last night and honestly it's very cool hip chill vibe when you walk in and kinda outside. So many tables not cleared outside. It was hard to pick a table. So many kids running around so we ended up sitting inside. I can't tell you how long we waited for someone to take our food order. It seemed like 20 mins. We placed our own drink order inside. After realizing service was slow we closed out bar tab. The waiter did take our order. I told him I had a free appetizer. He wasn't sure how that would work. Not much of a coupon for 6.00 but hey chips and salsa. We imagined chips and homemade salsa in a bowl. Nope! Tiny condiment holder the size of a quarter half filled with salsa. I saw the waiter let him know we were moving inside. He said still waiting on your pizza. I said what about chips and salsa and he said I'm still waiting on your order. Our family was so disappointed. My daughter works in restaurant industry. She said that's bad service! Chips and salsa bring it out ASAP. When pizza came out my daughter and I wanted to share a slice. She went to ask for a knife. She was told they didn't have anything. Then a man comes with didn't appear to be clean hands and a pizza cutter held pizza and cut it. Our family was like did that just happened. When bill finally came he forgot the coupon. Steven our waiter had to go back. Then he apologized. It was removed. I'd like to say service at bar phenomenal and the margaritas were great. Bathrooms were clean. The waitstaff needs better training. Maybe wear gloves when cutting food at table. Or know where to deliver food. We had a waitress deliver someone else's pizza. Went to backyard on broadway for a "silent disco party". The event was really cool. There was plenty of room outside. They allow smoking in certain areas but you can vape anywhere outside. Bartenders were cool and it didn't take very long to get drinks even though it was pretty crowded. We didn't leave an open tab based on other reviews that said they automatically charge a tip when you reach 50 dollars. We noticed that every time we went and orders drinks they charged 15 bucks to our credit card then issued a credit back immediately. Don't know why they do that but something to be aware of. My friends and I like the spot a lot... However... We were all in the little corner spot next to the door with couches and chairs having fun and a guy came over to talk to us. He was very drunk, which wasn't the issue, but he knocked over one of the glasses on the table and it broke. I was sitting next to the broken glass and NO ONE came to sweep it. There was only about 8 of us in the bar including the bartenders. After about 10 minutes, I got up and walked to the bar and asked for a broom. The bartender said, "oh for the broken glass?" Um...yeah... So it took them another free minutes and then they came and swept the glass. Guess they had to finish their conversation amongst themselves before taking care of a hazardous situation. On another note, they don't have any drink specials except for the happy hour. To add to that, the Shiner is $5 a pop. Their Lone Star is $3.50!!! Um...whaaaat!? Lone Star at ANY other bar ANYWHERE in San Antonio is $1.50, $2 Max!! Needless to say, we won't be going back. Great idea of a place though. read more
