The owner seems to know a lot about her customers, shows a lot of love that shes has for her place. Craving an early breakfast and we stumbled upon this small cute place! Makka was our server, she was polite, friendly and helpful. We drove from Tacoma to go shopping and we had to stop in! The portions are good and come with 2 sides of your choice of hasbrowns, pancakes, fruit or toast! My wife had the fruit crepes and she devoured it without nothing left lol, she normally has leftovers but not this time! There is limited seating inside, we came during peak hours and decided to eat outside later did we know it was hella cold to do that. This place is small. It has about 10 tables inside so you might be in for a wait if it is busy! But is it worth the wait. Absolutely! I ordered the homemade hash browns, eggs over medium and a side of gravy to smother the hash browns. The hash browns say they are from scratch and not frozen which promises to produce something elevated from the standard frozen ones typical of most cafes. They were great! Even better smothered in gravy! The eggs were cooked perfectly. I generally like over easy but tire of getting unset egg whites so go safe with over medium. I was looking for a great brunch spot to go with my Mom. I found this little restauraunt tucked back in the corner. Plenty of parking, Great service and tastey food. The dining area is very small and retro totally worth going as long as you don't have a large group. There are a couple tables outside as well if the weather is nice. This may not be a popular review, but it will be an honest one. We were looking for a breakfast spot to hit on our way to Canada, since I'd tried all the spots in Everett, I decided to go further north. This place had glowing reviews and I have a friend who works in the area that recommended the place as well. The service could not have been better, our server was friendly and attentive. The hashbrowns were the worst ever. They looked and tasted like someone tried to fry mashed potatoes. My nephew had turkey bacon and eggs with browns and cakes. He hated his hashbrowns, said the pancakes were below average, but did say the turkey bacon was delicious. I only ate half my meal it was so unappealing, my nephew cleaned his plate, but I think he was more concerned about not wasting food as his reputation is to order a lot and not finish it and my policy is when I pay, you clean your plate. No, that is about forcing people to eat, it's about teaching kids to be responsible if you order it, you eat it, or you pay for it, so he chose to power it all down instead of paying. Again, many thanks to the previous Yelpers who posted! Definitely not country, homey kitsch. This was clean, streamlined strip mall aesthetic. Wait person was very welcoming, attended to all the tables, and the kitchen staff cranked out orders in good time for folks like myself dining onsite and for a flurry of takeout too. I ordered the short stack of bacon pancakes - which was still three generously sized with copious bacon throughout the pancakes, served with a lot of butter and maple syrup! I savored this because go big or go home. I also had scrambled eggs and an orange juice. I came early enough that there was no wait on that particular Saturday. Be warned that you only get one side with your breakfast. So when you order toast you get no hashbrowns. One small piece of ham, 2 overcooked eggs and 1 piece of toast was $15. Waitress brought me ice tea instead of of hot tea and lukewarm water instead of ice water. Husband had an omelet that he said was good. But again, overpriced for an omelet and toast. read more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Ugh. I should have read more of the reviews instead of just looking at the 4 stars. Service was friendly and quick but completely incompetent. I asked for the best thing on the menu, waitress suggested Cali eggs Benedict (tomato bacon avocado). I received the regular eggs Benedict with Canadian bacon. Got my meal and my first thought was what in the holy hell disgusting glob of nasty gross yellow clumpiness has arrived on a plate? It looked extremely plain and unappealing, however, I am not one to send food back and I sucked it up. At this point, I suspected I had the wrong dish, but I'm getting old and the memory isn't what it once was and I didn't pick the dish. I did remember it was missing the avocado and asked for that on the side. This is when I realized I had the wrong dish and notified the waitress. Waitress said she'd take the dish off and bring me another one. I said I'd eat the hashbrowns, just bring a couple of over easy eggs. She came back out about 5 minutes later and asked again how I wanted my eggs. By this time my husband was finished, so I said forget it. THE BILL CAME WITH THE FULL PRICE AND CHARGES FOR THE AVOCADO WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE CALI BENEDICT. After I pointed this out, the manager comped half the price of the original eggs Benedict. We almost went elsewhere because we did not think there was a table available, but we lucked out and found one. My date ordered bacon, eggs, hash browns and bacon pancakes. I went with a spinach, mushroom, bacon, and Swiss omelette with hash browns and chocolate chip pancakes. I tried a bite of my date's bacon and pancakes. The bacon was very good. I preferred my pancakes, thanks to the chocolate chips. Did I mention my pancakes, which were topped with whipped cream? And my omelette, which included some very good Swiss cheese? The hash browns were interesting. They had more of a consistency that resembled potato pancakes. My date speculated that they used something other than a russet potato. Service couldn't have been better, but setting is an issue. The place is so small that getting a table is a challenge, and the seats are not comfortable. Was traveling down from Arlington with a friend and looking for a breakfast spot. I prefer sweet things for breakfast and I saw they had crepes. We had a wonderful breakfast. The service was excellent. Coffee was always topped up and the server recommended add ons like whipped cream that brought the dishes up a notch. I got the mandarin crepe and he got the Nutella crepe and we both got two eggs on the side for protein. The crepes were delicious and I would definitely be back for more. Eggs were fine can't really mess up an egg now can you? The coffee was actually really good and balanced. I would definitely return. 4 stars because it is a small place that is super outdated. Our first morning in WA... It was so cold and Yelp suggested this place. From the outside it looked small and quaint. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated promptly. Our waitress served our coffee then took our order.
