Chicken Bee is incredible Korean fried chicken, and it has never let me down…read more The chicken is always fried fresh, which means it comes out piping hot, insanely juicy, and perfectly crispy every single time. You can genuinely taste the difference when something is made to order like this. Whether you eat it right there in the H Mart food court or take it to go, the quality holds up. My go-to is the Spicy Garlic, which has fantastic flavor, bold, savory, and just the right level of heat without overpowering the chicken itself. The sauce clings perfectly to the crispy exterior while the inside stays tender and juicy. It's the kind of place you go back to again and again because it's reliable. No surprises, no drop-off in quality, just consistently great fried chicken done right. If you're a fan of Korean fried chicken or just great fried chicken in general, Chicken Bee is an absolute must.

The Supreme Sauced Half Chicken is tossed in a special gochujang sauce (advertised as medium spicy). The sauce was sweet, savory, delicious, and perfectly spicy. It truly had the right amount of spice for me! It made my nose run a little bit (in a good way) but didn't blow my socks off. I was able to enjoy the flavors but had a good burn on the tongue. I got rice as my side. It was overcooked and boring, but the chicken was so good I honestly didn't care. I got rice just in case the sauce was too spicy for me and I needed something to soothe my tongue. When I eat here again, I'll get pickled radish as the side!

I'm not sure there are many better things in the world than a good, crispy piece of fried chicken…read more When I think about bb.q Chicken, I can hear the food as well. The crunch rings through my head so vividly, it is almost as if I am eating it at this moment. Now I want fried chicken again. This spot does Korean fried chicken and they do it really well. I think bb.q Chicken can get quite pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it in my eyes. If you want to save some money, I recommend going for lunch. You can have some chicken and fries for a fair price when you get their combo. Otherwise, you have plenty of options for different flavors/sauces for your either boneless or bone in wings. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with most options. I've had the pleasure of trying a bunch of different flavors and there are certainly some stand out ones that cannot go wrong. The original is no frills, straight up savory crunch. It is simplicity at its finest. I also think the soy garlic is good, it has a nice savory flavor that doesn't overwhelm your taste buds. Lastly, the Gangam Style ones have been a recent favorite of mine. Imagine a black pepper steak from a Chinese takeout, that is your flavor. Although the flavors vary between these chickens, the crunch and juiciness reigns supreme amongst all options. bb.q Chicken has other dishes and sides such as their tteokbokki, which I haven't had a chance to try. But when I am here, I already know what I want. You can't go wrong with the best thing in the world!

Overall, I thought it was very tasty - not overly spicy, but it definitely had a little kick to it. My only minor complaint is that it was kind of expensive for the serving size, so I can't imagine getting it frequently, as $15 pre-tax for a small-ish lunch is a little steep for me. Still, I really enjoyed my food here and will definitely be back at some point!

Best dang chicken is CORRECT. Please Rise, please extend your hours…read more We are firm believers that if they stay open just like Canes/Popeyes, they'll steal a lot of business. Anytime we want late night chicken, we can't find a solid place that's close by we have to drive 25-30min. We can only eat rise in the morning. It's an amazing breakfast don't get me wrong, but we really think the Cary Morrisville area needs a solid late night chicken spot. All of us have to drive to downtown Raleigh or to chapel hill for canes or 25/30min for Popeyes! You guys have better items across the board and better pricing..... Let me know if you need help finding employees! My LinkedIn is poppin sometimes and I'd love to help your team make more money. Only people that compete quality wise are Grill&go and Meat&bite but very far drive from Morrisville Thanks for my Ted talk! Oh yeah order anything, it'll be amazing. We stopped by on a Sunday morning and the place was buzzing--I'm guessing many diners were coming from church. Thankfully we made a reservation because every table seemed to fill up quickly. To kick things off, we each ordered a refreshing Lone Rider wheat beer along with two appetizers. The Shoestring Okra Fries were a fun twist on a Southern classic--crispy, lightly seasoned with chili citrus seasoning, and even better dipped in the tangy lime mayo. We also shared the Artichoke Dip, which arrived bubbling hot, creamy, and perfect for spreading on the toasted bread. For brunch, we went with two very different dishes, and both were excellent. The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

Lowes Foods is one of those. The store itself is like any other grocery store, but they always do a good job of stocking local, and regional fare that isn't available outside the area unless you spend a fortune having it shipped. Lowes chicken -- all things chicken from the deli is one of those --- as must as I like WFoods, Lowes does their chicken and chicken salad in a certain way that just puts it in the win column for me. The version with cranberries -- not in stock when I was there -- was always a go-to. Other things I didn't know I would miss until they weren't available: pimento cheese spread -- yeah -- I know -- pretty common , ordinary, and often considered low-brow, but there are rare times where something so ordinary would hit the spot. Easy to make, but not to duplicate. Maybe it's not the food so much as it is the "southernness" of Lowes and the offerings they have that aren't found elsewhere, either at the other chain stores in the area or in other parts of the country. I don't know what it is, but Lowes shouldn't be overlooked if you want a store with local roots.
