Wow, this is some of the tastiest fried chicken I've ever had! This was my first time having Korean…read morefried chicken, so I went with the Supreme Sauce on a Half Chicken after discussing my tolerance with the staff. The Supreme Sauced Half Chicken is tossed in a special gochujang sauce (advertised as medium spicy). The sauce was sweet, savory, delicious, and perfectly spicy. It truly had the right amount of spice for me! It made my nose run a little bit (in a good way) but didn't blow my socks off. I was able to enjoy the flavors but had a good burn on the tongue. I got rice as my side. It was overcooked and boring, but the chicken was so good I honestly didn't care. I got rice just in case the sauce was too spicy for me and I needed something to soothe my tongue. When I eat here again, I'll get pickled radish as the side!

You can genuinely taste the difference when something is made to order like this. Whether you eat it right there in the H Mart food court or take it to go, the quality holds up. My go-to is the Spicy Garlic, which has fantastic flavor, bold, savory, and just the right level of heat without overpowering the chicken itself. The sauce clings perfectly to the crispy exterior while the inside stays tender and juicy. It's the kind of place you go back to again and again because it's reliable. No surprises, no drop-off in quality, just consistently great fried chicken done right. If you're a fan of Korean fried chicken or just great fried chicken in general, Chicken Bee is an absolute must.

The crunch rings through my head so vividly, it is almost as if I am eating it at this moment. Now I want fried chicken again. This spot does Korean fried chicken and they do it really well. I think bb.q Chicken can get quite pricey, but the quality of the food is worth it in my eyes. If you want to save some money, I recommend going for lunch. You can have some chicken and fries for a fair price when you get their combo. Otherwise, you have plenty of options for different flavors/sauces for your either boneless or bone in wings. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with most options. I've had the pleasure of trying a bunch of different flavors and there are certainly some stand out ones that cannot go wrong. The original is no frills, straight up savory crunch. It is simplicity at its finest. I also think the soy garlic is good, it has a nice savory flavor that doesn't overwhelm your taste buds. Lastly, the Gangam Style ones have been a recent favorite of mine. Imagine a black pepper steak from a Chinese takeout, that is your flavor. Although the flavors vary between these chickens, the crunch and juiciness reigns supreme amongst all options. bb.q Chicken has other dishes and sides such as their tteokbokki, which I haven't had a chance to try. But when I am here, I already know what I want. You can't go wrong with the best thing in the world!

Overall, I thought it was very tasty - not overly spicy, but it definitely had a little kick to it. My only minor complaint is that it was kind of expensive for the serving size, so I can't imagine getting it frequently, as $15 pre-tax for a small-ish lunch is a little steep for me. Still, I really enjoyed my food here and will definitely be back at some point!

Definitely a cool setup! I went around lunchtime and there was no wait at all to order. I decided on the fried pork chop, which I didn't realize was a made-to-order meal. I expected a little bit of a wait because of that, but I was honestly shocked when it took about 25 minutes to get my food. My friend had already finished her smothered chicken by the time mine came out Thankfully, her chicken was VERY good because I definitely stole a few bites while I waited! As far as my meal, I think next time I'd order something that's already cooked and ready to go and probably switch up my sides. The mac and cheese and yams weren't quite as good as I was hoping for, and the cornbread muffins were pretty dry and probably my least favorite part of the meal. Now the sweet tea?? SWWWWWWWEEEEET! They definitely understood the assignment on the Southern sweet tea! Overall, I'd give Nana Morrison's another try. There were enough things on the menu that looked good, and after tasting my friend's smothered chicken, I know there are definitely some winners. Next time I'm skipping the made-to-order wait and trying a different combination of sides!

Anytime we want late night chicken, we can't find a solid place that's close by we have to drive 25-30min. We can only eat rise in the morning. It's an amazing breakfast don't get me wrong, but we really think the Cary Morrisville area needs a solid late night chicken spot. We stopped by on a Sunday morning and the place was buzzing--I'm guessing many diners were coming from church. Thankfully we made a reservation because every table seemed to fill up quickly. To kick things off, we each ordered a refreshing Lone Rider wheat beer along with two appetizers. The Shoestring Okra Fries were a fun twist on a Southern classic--crispy, lightly seasoned with chili citrus seasoning, and even better dipped in the tangy lime mayo. We also shared the Artichoke Dip, which arrived bubbling hot, creamy, and perfect for spreading on the toasted bread. For brunch, we went with two very different dishes, and both were excellent. The Asparagus & Mushroom Omelet was fluffy and packed with flavor from the goat cheese and pickled onions, while the buttery biscuit with jam on the side was a nice Southern touch. The Fried Green Tomato & Bacon Benedict was the standout of the meal. Crispy fried green tomatoes, perfectly poached eggs, smoky bacon, and rich hollandaise came together beautifully without feeling overly heavy. We couldn't leave without one more treat. The Strawberry Kiwi Margarita was bright, fruity, and balanced with just enough tequila and a zesty spiced citrus rim to keep it refreshing. To finish, we shared an Affogato, the perfect ending with creamy ice cream and a shot of hot espresso. If you're planning a Sunday brunch in Cary, make a reservation--you'll be glad you did. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
