When I first adopted my Beagle Shepherd, Natasha, she was very stubborn. She's intelligent, independent, and full of personality--but that also meant her recall was unreliable, and I couldn't trust her off-leash. As a first-time dog owner, this was frustrating because I always imagined taking my dog everywhere, running together, exploring outdoors, and not being limited by a leash. That's when I decided to try Aaron and Elena at Bad Pup Club with their 4-week board and train program. I felt like I was rolling the dice because I had never done anything like this before. Not only did they work wonders with Natasha, but Aaron even extended her stay an extra week (at no additional cost) to really refine her training. What makes Bad Pup Club different is their approach. Aaron taught me how to continue working with Natasha, gave me training books, and walked me through the same methods he uses so I could keep the consistency going at home. And the support didn't stop after boarding. Months later, they still checked in to see how Natasha was doing, and when I adopted a second dog (a rebellious Husky mix), Aaron happily re-sent me the training guides and offered advice. Because of what I learned through them, I was able to train my Husky mix, BigFoot, at home using the same methods. Just recently, I was able to take him outside off leash, and he came back when I called. He's not quite at Natasha's level yet (I'm not as experienced as Aaron), but the fact that I've gotten this far shows how effective their program is when you put in the work. The biggest lesson I took away is that dog training is about consistency and routine. Dogs thrive on it, and if your trainer doesn't teach you how to keep it going, the progress won't last. Aaron and Elena truly care about the dogs they work with, and it shows in the long-term support they give. If you're on the fence like I was, don't be. Bad Pup Club didn't just help Natasha--they gave me the skills and confidence to train any dog I bring into my life. The Story of Lady Guinevere LilabetRose von Jagenstadt...aka Guinnie I picked Guinnie up one week ago. She had four weeks of board and train and the only bad thing about these four weeks is that I didn't decide to do it sooner. I had trained a German Shepherd before so I thought, I've got this! But I did NOT!! Guinnie is an SUPER intelligent German Shepherd that is very comfortable with pushing boundaries at any opportunity she gets. At eight months old, she's about 70 pounds, that's a lot of puppy!!! After two weeks in board and train at Bad Pup Club, the change in her was nothing short of miraculous!!! After four weeks, she was able to walk off leash!! I was never able to get Guinnie to come when called, to sit and stay, to down and stay, to place and stay. Nothing. She knew all of the commands. She just refused to do them. What Aaron, Elena, Chris and every other member of the Bad Pup Club have done is given me and my husband our lives back. Our house was super stressful before Guinnie's went to BPC, There was no joy in our new puppy because she had so many issues to deal with. She chased her tail incessantly, she barked Incessantly when my husband and I were having a conversation, she chased the cats and the other dog, she chewed anything she could get her mouth on, walks were impossible and stressful because she pulled and jumped and did all kinds of crazy things, and she was completely unable to be calm herself or be calmed and out of control. We went from that, to four weeks later, to a dog that can go on a 30 minute walk, an enjoyable walk, with no issues whatsoever. Again, it is nothing short of miraculous. If you're struggling with behavioral issues in your puppy/dog, I could not be a MORE staunch supporter of Bad Pup Club! They cared for my puppy as if she were their own, and they instilled things in her that I was not capable of doing. Sometimes you just need to call in a professional and that they are! I can't say enough about this place, Aaron, Elena and Chris absolutely crushed it! I brought my 3.5 year old Great Dane, Ragnar here due to his aggression issues (especially towards male dogs and sometimes men) he wasn't always this way but since it started I felt like I couldn't take him anywhere or trust him around anyone. I work a lot and will be moving soon so I didn't feel I had the time or the knowledge to manage Ragnar's issues alone. I really felt like I was at my ropes end because I won't be able to have anyone look out for him when I'm on work trips other than my best friend... problem is... he has a service dog and you can only imagine his concerns.... Anyways that's when when I found Bad Pup Club through a little bit of research and decided to pull the trigger. On the initial consultation Aaron recommended Ragnar for 6 weeks of their Board and Train program. He was super insightful and really helped me and my family feel this was the best move and option for Ragnar (I can't even express how right he was.) after the 1st integrated training session, Ragnar already seemed to be turning a new leaf.... Then he only proceeded to get better and better every week. By the end of it he's a brand new dog and as much as I missed him over those six weeks I can happily say he truly has turned over a new leaf. Aaron, Chris and Elena provided us with so much insight, knowledge and the tools necessary to continue to work with Ragnar and see him grow even more than he already has. I'm just glad I can finally take my big boy just about anywhere with so much more confidence than ever before. We can't say enough amazing things about The Bad Pup Club! From the very first visit, the owner Aaron took so much time with us to explain the program, walk us through what they offer, and make sure we felt completely comfortable leaving our "spicy" little pup in their care. Our dog hasn't always been welcome in traditional kennels, so finding a place that not only accepts him but truly celebrates him has been life-changing. Honestly, I wouldn't even call it "kenneling"--it feels more like a vacation for our dog. He absolutely loves it there! Every time we pull up, his tail wags non-stop, and he comes home smiling, happy, and well cared for. We rescued a Pittie mix who started exhibiting some escalating resource guarding tendencies after 6 months of settling in. We were working with another trainer who recommended we rehome or put her down because we have young kids. I called our vet who recommended the bad pup club, and they were fantastic. We did 6 private sessions over the course of a few months, and every single time, I left with new strategies to try and ways to work with our dog. She went from not being able to be near another dog without losing her mind to being able to walk beside one without a care in the world. We got gator from the shelter and he had some problems with obedience, jumping, and we couldn't trust him off leash. Bad pup club did an amazing job with him! Our dog did a complete 180 in just 4 weeks. They sent up photos, videos, and text updates on how gator was doing and seeing how well he did was so amazing. I'd trust any dog with them. Gator now listens to commands, doesn't jump, is great off leash, and even waits for his release command for his food (bonus)! Aaron and Chris are extremely knowledgeable in dog training. I brought my 6month old Belgian Malinos (Phoenix), to their board and train program and we just picked him up today.
