Tuna Avocado Roll (8pcs) Salmon Avocado Roll (8pcs)

I was craving Sushi and wanted to try a new spot, so I placed an order with O Sushi. I ordered 3 rolls for myself and it was plenty of food. I ordered the Tuna Avocado rolls and a Salmon Avocado roll. Both rolls were really good and fresh. Also the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely order from O Sushi again.

Terrible experience order taking and order pickup with Turuu. He has a bad attitude, he is careless and misses items from our orders then blames us! If he is still there next time, we won't order from OSushi anymore and you shouldn't either. Our hard earned money must be respected!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small place only 6 tables and bar seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff was so attentive and friendly. Brought my son in (10 yrs) and they were so sweet and attentive. Food was great! Tasted great! The staff made our day !

The food is always amazing. The waitress is always really nice and the price is incredible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm afraid to review this place because I'm worried when the word gets out it'll be too packed for me to eat here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Decent sushi but not the best service. LA introduced sushi to America in the early 1950s so there are a ton of really great options all over town. This spot is more of an option if you're close by or don't have time for one of the well-known locations. It's located in a strip mall two blocks east of the 405 and Sawtelle. They have a lot of parking available in the parking lot attached to the mall. It's fairly small on the inside, there are about eight tables, so it would not be a good place for a large group. As mentioned the service could be better. I came in for lunch, and when I entered, I was not greeted by anyone. Then the waitress came over, took the order, with zero smile or conversation, and then forgot one of the 3 items that I ordered. They have a fairly large menu, and I would say that the pricing is fair. I chose a selection for my first visit. I ordered the Spider Roll, Miso Soup, the Salmon and Avocado Roll, and some Albacore Nigiri. All were pretty good, a solid 4/5. Everything did come out pretty quickly, even though they forgot one of my items. This location felt more like a takeout or work lunch option kind of place so I don't anticipate it being very busy during dinner time. I work close by so I plan to try again in the near future.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool little spot, had easy listening music which was nice and at 12pm on a Saturday I was here pretty much by myself which was awesome.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My roll was so good, I ordered another. Great little place, highly recommend.

    Bulgogi Bowl with Volcano Roll.
    Anthony R.

The bulgogi meat was very seasoned in a positive way. I did like the taste of the bulgogi meat. I just felt there was more rice than meat. That will be one of my negative feedback. The Volcano roll was okay. I feel like I had a better volcano roll. I won't be getting this one again. I went here to have a beer. They had an Asahi, but it was a non alcoholic beer. This was disappointed. I really wanted a drink but did not want to leave. Overall, they have more dishes, I would definitely try the other items on the menu. The service was quick. I came at a good time. My order was taken quickly, and the meal came out quickly. The ambiance of the venue was quiet. I was the only person there at the time, but Uber Eats kept coming and out picking up food. It does get busy. Come thur.

No leftovers, no over-ordering... a true test of discipline at a place like this. Started with a Thai iced tea that hit exactly right. Balanced, not overly sweet, and generously poured. Service throughout the meal was excellent. Attentive without hovering, and the pacing was spot on. I never felt rushed, which is rare when you're clearly on a clock. For my appetizer, I went with the Phuket wings. As someone who takes wings seriously, I can say these stood out. Crispy, flavorful, and coated in a Southern Thai curry sauce I hadn't experienced before. Rich, slightly sweet, with a depth that kept me going back for "just one more." For the main, I took the server's recommendation and ordered the Thai beef salad to balance things out. Smart call. The dressing leaned creamier than what I usually expect, but it worked. Bright, flavorful, and layered. I'll be honest, I couldn't quite finish it, but the beef didn't stand a chance. Every last bite. Dessert sealed the deal. The mango sticky rice, now famously known as the Cardi B Mango Sticky Rice, lived up to the hype. Perfectly ripe mango, warm sticky rice, and that coconut sauce tying it all together. Simple, classic, and done right. The space itself tells a story. Walls lined with photos of the owner alongside celebrities from all over. But what stood out more than the photos was the man himself. He made his way around the room, greeting guests, checking in, bringing real warmth to the experience. No hierarchy, no pretense. Everyone gets treated like they belong. Twenty-six years in and I'm just now discovering this place? Better late than never. Next time, I'm bringing a group and ordering everything family style. That's the move.

We ordered grilled Sea Bass in banana leaf, coconut rice and the vegetarian noodle. I asked the server to make it super spicy. Since he kind of guessed I will need additional spicy, he gave me the house hot pepper sauce. Sea bass was very tasty and the hot sauce complimented the extra sambal the chef had added. My kid laughed the vegetarian noodles but said, it could use extra spices. A bit blander than what we get in Bay area Indonesian places. Overall, the owner/server was nice. Small but well decorated place. Around 5 miles from Venice beach but we didn't mind the drive. At least thanks to free valet parking at the restaurant the dinner was not super expensive.

Didn't care as the dish tasted good and the dry noodles were chewy as described on the menu. It came with an overcooked poached egg, the yolk was jammy. I didn't bother sending it back because service was slow. Our server gave minimal effort. They seemed understaffed. I politely approached our server about when my food would come out and she pointed to a tray with it as she handled a take out order. Vegetable Ramen - My friend would not come back. Some bites tasted fantastic while some tasted a little off? I do like that it's on the more savory side than sweet side. I also liked tha the beef was thinly sliced and tender + there was a decent amount of meat. However, I would've liked more cilantro. Bread is on the harder side even after I heated it up. Went early to see if anything opened or if walk-in would be faster, surprisingly they actually had something come available sooner. We opted to sit inside and loved the ambiance. Food - amazing! I read reviews first and watched a couple IG videos so I knew a general idea of what we wanted to order. Glad the server suggested the orange chicken over the walnut shrimp when we were debating it. Chil wontons, absolutely a must get, different from DTF, not crazy spicy but full of flavor and richness. XO fatty noodles, perfect chewiness on the rolled noodles and the flavors were well balanced, we enjoyed them with a little chili paste and the orange chicken as the protein. Orange chicken, soooo much more flavorful than your average Panda Express orange chicken, good sized nuggets of chicken that were crispy and tender at the same time, and the zest livened it up. BBQ pork shank, our server did warn us it's not the easiest to eat, but it's worth it, hard to see cutting it off the bone because it was so dimly lite in the restaurant and your hands will get sticky but once you get chunks off the bone and your bao bun built it's delicious especially when you get the lacquered crispy skin yummm! Only skip for the night was the mango sticky rice. Much rather would've spend $8 on something else. The mango was tart/sour. The sticky rice was too wet and mushy. It was a pass for both of us. Service - our server was awesome. From greeting to end, he was the right amount of attentive and was super helpful with suggestions. Everyone from the food runner to the busser, they were all so nice. From getting us chili paste or to go containers, customer service was on point.
