Ordered through their online website, when I arrived to pick up my order the cashier told me 10 more min. Then five minutes later he asks me who am I picking up for and I said my name again. He then tells me there's no order for me and shows me his kiosk and my name isn't there. I also think the cashier may be under the influence while working as I have seen his eyes super red multiple times that I have been there. Last time coming here. Decent sushi but not the best service. LA introduced sushi to America in the early 1950s so there are a ton of really great options all over town. This spot is more of an option if you're close by or don't have time for one of the well-known locations. It's located in a strip mall two blocks east of the 405 and Sawtelle. They have a lot of parking available in the parking lot attached to the mall. It's fairly small on the inside, there are about eight tables, so it would not be a good place for a large group. As mentioned the service could be better. I came in for lunch, and when I entered, I was not greeted by anyone. Then the waitress came over, took the order, with zero smile or conversation, and then forgot one of the 3 items that I ordered. They have a fairly large menu, and I would say that the pricing is fair. I chose a selection for my first visit. I ordered the Spider Roll, Miso Soup, the Salmon and Avocado Roll, and some Albacore Nigiri. All were pretty good, a solid 4/5. Everything did come out pretty quickly, even though they forgot one of my items. This location felt more like a takeout or work lunch option kind of place so I don't anticipate it being very busy during dinner time. I work close by so I plan to try again in the near future. read more

The white rice is not mushy and the avo was fresh, so I loved it! 2 stars for that. Service: First, let me say that I respect any establishment doing their part to avoid unnecessary exposure to COVID, so kudos for not allowing indoor dining. However, there is a difference between doing your part and being rude. The lady didn't even approach the table outside and I had to scream my order - fine. I asked if avocado could be added and she simply yells "$2". Fine, avo isn't cheap. She comes to the table, tosses the receipt, card and pen to me to sign, and walks away. The kicker? She went to sit at a table near the kitchen with her mask off. So, you're not doing your part - you just lack customer service skills. When my food comes, she yells out my order, puts the food on the table and walks away. As I ask for hot sauce she barks "in the bag" without even bothering to turn around.
