I would give this place 4.5 stars if I could because the sushi is genuinely tasty, fresh and the guys in the little shack clearly work very hard but [[HIGHLIGHT]]it's in a kind of sketchy parking lot (why are 7/11 parking lots always such weird vibes??) so I don't love waiting there and would never go alone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Also doing the community a favor and uploading the whole, current menu. I typically get the Hollywood roll, the Alaskan and the super yellowtail and then a crispy rice spicy tuna. I've also gotten their sushi sampler and it was solid but when I come here I'm usually craving something less traditional. All and all this place is like actually so nice to have in a pinch and genuinely provides a tasty, somewhat affordable sushi option if you don't wanna have a sit down experience or go to Yama.

Ordered sushi from Tom's Sushi House through Uber Eats and it was such a lovely experience Everything arrived neatly packed and beautifully presented, and most importantly, the sushi was super fresh and delicious. The fish tasted clean and high-quality, and even the fried rolls were still crispy and flavorful after delivery. The portions were generous, the variety was amazing, and you can really tell they pay attention to detail. It felt like restaurant-quality sushi at home

Little shack located in a plaza. Parking in the plaza or on the street. Food is pretty good & fresh! Really enjoyed the salmon and the big spider roll! This is a to-go spot but they have counters to eat at but we ate in the car because it was cold. Service was normal, took about 15 mins for our order to be ready. As a female, I probably wouldn't wait here at night alone.

Bless Tom's soul for creating this amazing sushi shack! This to-go spot serves some of the freshest sushi in the area. You can call ahead and pickup, or just walk up and order (be prepared to wait around 20 minutes though). 1 guy, 1000 sushi orders. Here's what we got: - spicy tuna crispy rice: this was good, the crispy rice was a little stale but it did not take away from the great flavors. It comes with one little dish of mixed up sauces (I think spicy Mayo, eel and something else). This dish is beautiful and I can't believe it's not from a restaurant! - salmon avocado roll (I forgot the name, don't sue me) this was a classic but tasty roll. It was my favorite of the night. - crispy onion roll (also forgot the name!!! Sorry!) this roll was super unique, I never had a roll with fresh crispy onions on top of it. This was my roomies favorite roll. I believe it was a tuna based roll! Overall I would give this place a 4.5. I would like to try some more of their classic rolls since the quality of the fish was fresh and amazing. Thank you Tom!

Toms Sushi House is a wonderful casual restaurant if you're looking for food that isn't super cheap but not super expensive - the perfect middle. I've only ever ordered takeout so cannot comment on the service or ambience. I will say: Rainbow roll (5/5): one of the cheapest rainbow rolls you will find in the area and the fish quality is good. The ratio between fish and rice is great. Dragon Roll (4/5): this roll was good but I wish the unagi slices were a bit thicker. They were on the thin side so didn't get as much of the unagi flavor. Spicy Yellowtail (3/5): I wasn't the biggest fan only because the onions were a little overpowering. But the price is very good for the amount of fish so if u like onions, this may not be bad for you. Spicy Garlic Bowl (4.5/5): very flavorful and large portion! decent breading to chicken ratio though some of the smaller pieces were a little too breaded (if that makes sense) Will def keep ordering!!

Crispy Rice w/spicy tuna, California Roll and Tuna Roll

I ordered delivery from here last week when I was craving some sushi. I had ordered from here a number of times in the past but it's been well over a year since my last order. Based on reviews, it looks like the place has a new owner but the menu hasn't changed much. I got the spicy tuna on crispy rice which comes with a large piece of crispy rice (about 5" or so in diameter) that's topped with spicy tuna, avocado, green onions and masago. On the side you get a little container of eel sauce mixed with spicy Mayo to pour on top. This was tasty but the rice was a little too warm when they put the fish on top because it cooked it somewhat. The flavor was good but I wish the fish hadn't gotten cooked because I didn't love the texture of that. I also got a roll with spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, crab, avocado, and crunchy tempura bits. It also came with eel sauce/spicy Mayo. This was pretty tasty but nothing unique. It was way too much food for me so I couldn't finish it all. While it was pretty good, I remember it being better in the past. Maybe if I had gotten it for pick up and eaten it immediately it would have been better, but overall it's not a bad spot for some relatively inexpensive sushi. Don't come here expecting a nice sushi restaurant. It's literally a tiny shack with a couple of tables outside. Only come here for takeout or get delivery.

If I could give this place TEN STARS I would. We literally order from here every Friday and the sushi never fails. 10/10 would recommend. Fish is always fresh, every single roll is great, and they are very generous with the portions. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's an unassuming little sushi stand in a plaza, but don't let that fool you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Do yourself a favor and eat here now. You won't be sorry.

For $80 we got 4 special rolls, 1 basic roll, bulgogi beef bowl, and a sashimi salad. it was too much food for 2 people but i was probably inebriated-- i recommend removing the bowl or a roll. This is purely takeout and i would recommend budgeting 45 mins - 1 hour for a pickup order. the geisha roll with salmon was my favorite, the super yellowtail and the hollywood and hot night we're also very good. the seaweed salad portion is great-- def worth it. can't wait to come back-- i'll probably try different rolls but get the geisha again

Although it's not life-changing sushi, it's so good that you will want to order from them on a regular basis. Husband found this place because he was looking for sushi that wouldn't break the bank, and everyone knows that for that use case, Korean sushi is the way to go. Crispy rice with spicy tuna: Good flavor and the rice was indeed crispy. Sauce was good too. Salmon mango roll: Like a California roll with the addition of salmon and mango. They were very generous with the mango, and the sauce was a little sweet. Great flavor combo. Unagi bowl: Perfectly executed. My only criticism was that the avocado on this one was a little underripe, but given everything that's going on in the world, I should be grateful to get avocado at all, let alone such a generous portion. The real treasure in this dish, though, was the scrambled eggs topped with pickled jalapenos and masago - that was a real flavor explosion. The food really exceeded my expectations, and I would be thrilled if we ordered from them again. Everything we got was delicious.

    Alaska roll
    Jinny C.

An unsuspecting sushi stand that offers lots of delicious options at good prices. The little shop is takeout only, and when I called ahead they gave me a time estimate and a follow up text when the food was ready. The food is quick, and the couple that work there are really nice. Card accepted. Ordered the Alaskan roll (salmon on Californian roll) this time and it was so fresh and a good size. There were thin slices of lemon in between each cut, which was a lot of effort that made the roll taste extra fresh.

Ask the Community - Tom's Sushi House

Are you able to eat at the tables here again? Or is still only takeout?

I think we all cannot go back to the way we were used to be.

It's 7:30 on a Saturday night called 3 times and no answer? Are you not open on Saturdays?

Last saturday night we were closed. I was sick. Sorry about that.

    Closed which day?

which sundays are you closed? It is very confusing! something like "closed 1st and 3rd sunday of the month" would be helpful

One of the best sushi spots I've had a in a while actually. We didn't really do any appetizers and went straight in for the fish. Started off with a couple of hand rolls, we did the crab hand roll and O toro hand roll. Crab hand roll wasn't as impressive, I've had better to be honest. I didn't let that experience ruin it for me because the toro hand roll was delicious. I think they add a piece of mint and it complimented the hand roll. Very crunchy nori wrapper and good rice to fish ratio. For our sushi we started with chu toro tuna, salmon belly, and halibut. Super fresh melt in your mouth quality. Halibut was interesting with the truffle, first time definitely won't be the last. We ended it with red snapper and black snapper. Nice of the chef to switch out roe for halibut for me on my omakase. However, probably the worst omakase I've ever had. No creativity, nothing felt premium, chewy fish, flavors didn't mesh, and half of it was salty. The miso soup wasn't scorching, which i appreciated at first but that meant the last few sips were fairly room temp. The real crab handroll was good. If the price point was $35 sushi set I'd give 5/5 but this is supposed to be premium omakase. I've been to other Sushi Enya locations and had good experiences, so this was very disappointing. Stick to the rolls and nigiri.

Had no idea it was going to be this busy on a random Wednesday. But this place is truly a gem! The salmon sashimi absolutely melted in my mouth and was one of the best I've had in a long time. The tuna was just as impressive, rich with incredible texture and freshness. Every roll and every piece of nigiri was prepared with so much care that it reminded me why I love sushi in the first place.
