My Name is Bryant and today I went to Bad to the Bone BBQ for the first time. I was meeting with my district manager. Some of the best BBQ I've been too in Las Vegas. I had the two meat trio with brisket and Beef ribs. When I go to a new BBQ place I always try out small portions of the meat. I decided to try this place because I was in the area and saw it a few times. The name on the sign and the name on the door were completely different, but I still gave them a try. I ordered the ribs and the brisket sandwich with fries and beans. The brisket sandwich was good once I scraped off the coleslaw. (which I asked to be placed on the sandwich) The ribs were too fatty. They needed to be trimmed, badly! The beans were okay but the fries were terrible. They were baked and very limp! Completely inedible! Can't say that I'll ever be back. read more

The aromas from outside! We parked and could instantly smell the magic happening inside of this place. It always reminds me of being in Texas. BBQ is a mood for me. I need to be extra hungry and craving meat. This doesn't happen that often but I was invited by the restaurant to check them out. We drove across town and they very generously served us a little of everything. The star of the show for me is their pulled pork sandwich. Sooooo tender and flavorful. The coleslaw adds a great crunch and not sure where their buns come from but might be from heaven. Buttery and oh so soft but they still handle all of that weight! So messy and so perfect! You'll be licking your fingers with this one. Hands down one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I've ever had the pleasure of trying. My man loved all their meats, especially their brisket and smoked sausage. Favorite side is the potato salad. We left with so many leftovers and enjoyed them the next day. What happened Lickin Good? When y'all first opened it was decent portions, the southwest corn was creamy and tasted like elote in a bowl, sweet tea had us going for refills... now it's globby corn, barely any meat on a two meat combo and I dumped the sweet tea because it tasted fermented. Two meats, three sides and two drinks... all for the outrageous cost of $38 bucks. Does this look like $38 worth of food to anyone? I had high hopes for this place when we came here the first time.... Not to mention, the worker that prepped our food just went out to smoke, came back in, went back to work and we haven't seen them wash their hands yet. I think I'm going to be sick. We ordered two meat combos, one with burnt ends and one with pulled pork. Also the hot potato with brisket pork, sour cream cheese butter and bacon. They have Pepsi products- boo! the restrooms were very clean and modern. Food was absolutely delicious. My only complaint if there was one is that the portions are small. I can't help but compare this restaurant to my favorite bbq restaurant Jessie Rayes. The portions at JR's are much larger for basically the same price. Bad to the Bone has counter service but since we were the only customers at 4:00 pm the cook brought us our food. Overall a good dining experience. read more

First timer here...the BRISKET was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!! So many choices but we decided for the grilled brisket cheese with fries and my husband had the two meat options ( brisket and hot link) with a side (mac & cheese). Customer service was great! Once we got our food (which was pretty quick), one of the employees kept checking on us. She was very sweet. I didn't catch her name unfortunately. The food...fries were good but the grilled brisket cheese (drooling) was CHEF's KISS! My husband loved the brisket but was not a fan of the hot link. The mac and cheese were extremely good!! I'm not a fan of the corn bread BUT I decided to try it and it was sooooo good! I was surprised that I took a piece from his plate. All in all I give this place a 9 out of 10! Turkey leg stuffed with mac and cheese. That is simply the reason to show up to this place. I mean if you can merge two things on the face of the planet to make something even more glorious, I cannot think of a pairing. Peanut butter and jelly may come a close second, but the distance between turkey leg stuffed with mac and cheese and PBNJ is like 70-80 yards, just not really close. I saw someone's TikTok on this and was enamored enough to call them up and make a double order before thanksgiving. I brought them home and the old man had one and i had one. To say that this was amazing is an understatement, its like saying Jennifer Aniston is beautiful, true, but she goes waaaaay beyond just "beautiful." I honestly am not sure there is a word in the known universe that could be used to describe how amazing it was. Great Barbecue is hard to find here in the Las Vegas area! Been seeing this place a lot on social media so I figured it's about time I check it out! Located in a small strip-mall location in Henderson. You can smell the smoke as soon as you get out of your car,so my anticipation is elevated for sure. Small place,clean and unapologetic. Open kitchen/serving galley. Not over decorated as Barbecue tends to be! I ordered a three meat-two side combo about $40. Brisket Ribs and Chicken then was told I can't have the Chicken because it's too big(half a bird) ? Chose Turkey instead. Also ordered Baked Beans and Slaw. Kid at the counter was polite although (3 ppl on the clock) No One greeted me upon arrival, nor did they notice or thank me as I left! I asked where the smoker was" Oh it's out back" was the answer. I checked it out after lunch and it was there! Ribs were tender I got two on my combo, St Louis cut. I suspect they were reheated judging by the color. The Brisket was ok, tender enough and had some decent flavor but my guess is it was also reheated as well. The Turkey was tender and flavorful but a tad dry, which I remedied with their version of Alabama White sauce. The sauce was ok and had a good bite of horseradish to it. The Spicy Bbq sauce was okay and went well with the meats. Their slaw is mustard base and I am good with that. It was definitely cut fresh, you could tell by the crisp crunch of the cabbage. I did feel like it needed something to punch it up a bit! The Baked Beans I did not care for. They were sweet with a tart sting of tomato and probably Pepsi that had been reduce to long, it gives a tannic flavor. Bonus point for having real good and made fresh iced tea! Visited for the first time on 11.22.22, ordered to go food while at the counter. It was about noon. Unfortunately they were out of smoked Turkey and potato salad. I ordered the pork and brisket along with Cole slaw and chili. When I received the to go order, double checked it before I headed out the door. Customer service was amazing. Potato salad was amazing. You have never had this potato salad before, you have to tray it trust me. Watermelon Lemonade amazing. Burnt tips amazing. WOW! Just, wow!!! Can that be my review? My open, drooling mouth, a la Homer, screaming, "WOW!!!" I wanted to try a new BBQ place, closer to where I live, and remembered I had bookmarked Lickin Good Smokin BBQ, so we came in after some grocery shopping to get take-out. I was a bit worried walking in because they don't have a "permanent" sign yet and there was only one couple eating inside, on a Sunday evening. However, the smell upon walking in is magnificent so either way, I was ordering SOMETHING. We were greeted immediately and the first thing I noticed was that both employees washed their hands and gloved up. I didn't realize one of them was the owner, and I am the WORST at making small talk so of course I never asked. I appreciate that gesture because it tells me they care about hygiene. Also, the restaurant and the kitchen line looked very, very clean. The owner and the employee were so nice. They made us feel so welcome. We ordered a pound of brisket, half a chicken, half a rack of ribs, and quarts of beans, coleslaw and potato salad. The brisket here is the best I've had in Vegas and rivals my favorite place in Texas for number one in my heart. I was surprised at the perfect amount of smoke and the creamy tenderness. The chicken was so flavorful and perfectly moist. The ribs were tender and seasoned properly. I love ribs with a bit of texture. Fall off the bone isn't what I look for so I loved these. The sides were amazing. I thought the coleslaw was going to be spicy or weird when I saw it being packaged, but one taste and I was hooked. The beans were tangy and a bit drenched in sauce, but again it's how we, in particular, like it so it was perfect for us. And the potato salad? Get outta hea! So good. I ate way more than I should have. I very much liked the sauces too. I'm finding that I might love white BBQ sauce. So my fiancé and I decided to give this place a try after seeing pictures from a food group on Facebook. We were highly disappointed with this place after our meal. We got their hog special, which comes with 3 pork ribs, 1/4lb. of brisket, 1/4lb. turkey breast, 1 sausage link, 3 sides, 1 piece of bread and pickle spear for 43.99. When everything came out, it looked really appetizing then we started eating and our tastebuds were not happy. All the meats were tender and fall off the bone, even the sausage link had a nice snap to it. The brisket, turkey and pork ribs were void of all flavor. The sausage was just super peppery like you were eating a big slim jim . The sides we chose were fries, baked beans and coleslaw. The fries were steak fries with some seasoning salt on them, no complaints there. The baked beans and coleslaw weren't very good. The first bite of the baked beans you are just hit with a tangy, sweet, ketchup taste that was very off putting. The coleslaw wasn't a regular slaw, they put their spin on it and dressed with some kind of Honey Dijon Mustard. The meal was very savory and they had nothing to break it up with. They forgot our pickle spear on our platter but that would have helped immensely. Anything pickled would have helped. The owner and staff were really nice. And the owner was out in the dining room checking on people during their meals and asking how everything was. The feeling of being satisfied was not fulfilled here like other BBQ places. read more

The spicy bbq sauce was disappointing being it wasn't spicy and ice cold. But the brisket was on point. Now the brisket chili was overpowered by the chili spice making the brisket flavorless as a whole it was okay. I wish places that serve jalapeños would serve them fresh. BBQ done Right! This was a lunch visit today. We had seen the store many times on Gibson and today we stopped in. Thank am so glad we did. The place is not over done in decorations and is simple but you know your in a BBQ joint just by the aroma as you walk in and the sign that says OPEN (until the Q runs out). The seasoning are simple and the smoke kissed meats are perfectly done. This is good TN Q and it's awesome. The sides are very good and don't look for M&C but do order the cheese corn side and you will say Mac and cheese who? It's very tasty. Their slaw is a bit heavy with vinegar but pile that onto a pulled pork sandwich and "Oh mamma" that slaw has the right amount of vinegar to blend with the pork and house sauce to make you want to order another just to make sure you tasted it right the first time. This is hands down the best bbq I've ever had in Las Vegas! They brought a pit master from Nashville and his experience clearly shows! The best thing I ate was seriously a toss up between multiple items, but I highly recommend the pork belly or the brisket. The pork belly was flavorful, soft and has an excellent smoke to it. A nice little BBQ place tucked away conveniently near Touro University. I came here after craving some brisket and thought this might hit the spot given all the rave reviews. Dropped by on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy thankfully. Ordered the 1 meat combo with 1/4 lb brisket, fries and salad. The salad was basic and plentiful. Fries were regular fries, not overly salted or fried/burnt. However, I was a little bit disappointed with the brisket, and the overall amount of food for the price. Two slices of brisket, that were cut a little thicker than usual. And they were dry. The spicy BBQ sauce helped with the dryness, but it definitely wasn't what I expected based on the reviews. And 2 slices of brisket + a side salad and fries for $13 feels a little on the expensive side. Maybe that's the inflation kicking in though. I'll be back for sure. Good bbq place on Gibson. I loved the Cheese Corn dish, probably my favorite thing there. The brisket was also good, but need more flavor for my taste, will ask for some of their rub on the side next time. Also, I didn't see any bbq sauce, but maybe I didn't look hard enough. Oh man. This place is good. Like real good. It's been a long time since I've had brisket this good. I grew up in TX, where good brisket places are a dime a dozen, and after almost two years in Vegas and lots of misses in the brisket department, I'd accepted that I just wouldn't find good brisket in Vegas....until I tried this place. You definitely want to check them out. Walking in, the smell of brisket hits you hard. I got four pounds of brisket to go (big family), as well as some of their French fries and corn and cheese. The cashier threw in a loaf of bread (my family likes to make brisket sandwiches so bread is a must) and some barbecue sauce for free because our order was so big. When I got home, my family LITERALLY devoured everything. The brisket was tender and deliciously smoked. The corn was fabulous. Everything was honestly perfect. My friend and I split the 3 meats combo plate with 2 sides and everything was delicious! We got the brisket, pork belly and smoked sausage for our meats and the corn&cheese and fries for our sides.
