I've been to a Lucille's before, but this was my first visit to this location. It is huge in comparison and the place was comfortably busy with families at the tables. We got great service from the waitstaff who brought our food as ordered, piping hot, and fresh!! The prices were reasonable, and the portions were so big I brought half my salad home for dinner. We sat at the bar and ordered a Texas Goes Tiki carafe. Titos vodka and other delicious accoutrement's. What an absolutely delicious drink. Smooth and very flavorful. The bar staff is excellent, always happy to help make a recommendation on food or drinks. The atmosphere is very relaxed and gives off a locals vibe, which we love. The service was genuinely disappointing from start to finish. Every employee I encountered seemed completely miserable. Not once did I see a smile, a welcoming attitude, or even the slightest indication that anyone wanted to be there. The atmosphere was so gloomy it felt like customers were inconveniencing the staff simply by walking through the door. My wife and I ordered the Southern Fried Chicken, which was nowhere near as good as I remembered. It was bland, uninspired, and tasted like the kitchen had given up long before our food reached the table. Unfortunately, the biggest surprise came later that night when both my wife and I ended up with food poisoning. Nothing says "memorable dining experience" quite like spending the evening regretting every bite. After recovering, I called to request a refund because paying nearly $80 for food poisoning didn't seem like a great value. The woman who answered the phone was actually very polite and took my full name, email, and phone number. She explained that corporate was unavailable over the weekend but assured me someone would contact me afterward regarding my refund request. It's now been three days, and I've received absolutely nothing. No email. No phone call. No follow-up. Apparently, customer service doesn't end when you leave the restaurant it simply never begins. read more

Really love the location, very close to GVR & the restaurant makes you feel like your down South somewhere. The BBQ was good and the service was on point. I had the special choose 2 meats; I did the St. Louis Ribs with the Texas Red Hot Sausage. This is a really good spot to bring visitors for some good BBQ. It's a little on the pricier side but I think worth it if you are entertaining family/guests. As a celiac and as someone who has traveled around to so many great bbq places around the US, Lucille's is nearly inedible now. While there is a gluten-free menu, tons of options aren't actually gluten-free (ex: fries, anything with tortilla chips) because they're cooked in a shared fryer with battered gluten items. The actual gluten-free options are severely lacking. Brisket & tri-tip are both an upcharge and it's the driest, least flavorful brisket and tri-tip I've ever had. The garlic mashed potatoes are blah. The jalapeño sausage was pretty good. It's a real shame that most bbq places are gluten-free except for bread, desserts and mac and cheese, but at Lucille's even baked potatoes aren't gluten-free (skins rubbed in flour to make them crispy.) Was in the mood for BBQ and having gift cards made it easier! We ordered the feast for 2 which had 3 meats, 2 sides and dessert. We had pulled pork, brisket and baby back ribs and the 2 sides were garlic mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. We had peanut butter ice cream pie. Everything was served on a tray so we were able to share it easily! The pulled pork was amazing and the meat for the ribs just fell off the bone! The brisket was a bit fatty so I did t care for it. The garlic mashed did not lack any garlic flavor but the Mac and cheese was a disappointment. The Caesar salad wasn't to my liking as I have never heard of it being served with tomato. What in the world!!! We had Lucille's for the first time for Thanksgiving! We were blown away!!! I had such low expectations for this place. We ordered the Thanksgiving take away meal which include smoked turkey, biscuits, Mac and cheese, corn bread, stuffing, cranberry sauce. I truly love the service here! They were so nice and helpful with the menus and explained some of the items I was confused of. Still happy with the service at Lucille's. Juan has been a great waiter every time we have him. They changed their menu to do add on pricing for a few meats now when purchasing two-three meat combos or specials. It can get expensive if you don't read that and changes from 1/2 rack to 1/3 rack ribs. +$3 tri-tip (better than their dry brisket), +$8 beef ribs (best item on menu). The deals of the days of the week help reduce the prices. $50 instead of $60 for the 3 (1/3)meats + appetizer + dessert combo on Tuesdays. The banana pudding is worth trying. I think it was the last one our list of desserts to try and it is the best as it's made in house. I like the brisket cheese dip better than the veggie artichoke dip. The piggyback fries were tasty also a new menu item. Very good Happy hour here....in the mood for some bbq, so we hit up the bar. I like this bar..it is spacious and inviting. We ordered two draft beers that were two dollars off. They were cold and tasted great. I ordered the wedge salad and the rib tips..hub got the pulled pork sandwich. All of these items are at a great price. They also threw in some biscuits with honey butter for no charge. Food was delicious and the waitress did a really good job taking care of us. I ordered the not your mommas chicken Caesar...and I was (for the first time) so disappointed. The chicken was overcooked (deep fried too long), and there was WAY too much dressing and it was incredibly garlicky. My fault for not letting our server know (Chris was GREAT, and I didn't want to make his job harder)...I barely ate any and asked for a box in the hopes that maybe it was just my taste buds and it would be better the next day. I lived in Texas for many years, I ate a lot of BBQ. Lucille's ain't BBQ! Start with the Burnt Ends. Burnt Ends are the trimmings from pointy fatty end of a whole brisket . This is a limited item, limited to the number briskets you have cooked that day. You will run out each and every day! This was supposed to be pork burnt ends which should be from porkbelly. What you get is the Culinary Institute of America oven version. Thick chunks of meat overcooked with some sort of sauce on top. The result had little flavor, was very chewy, none of the delight that should be burnt ends. The Texas Brisket was chewy, not melt in your mouth goodness. I suspect another Culinary Institute of America oven version. Like the burnt ends, I'll bet this was cooked in an oven at too high a heat, rather than low and slow. Definitely not Texas BBQ! If you are going to serve BBQ in your casino, don't make a specialty restaurant out of it unless you are willing to walk the talk, and smoke your meats low and slow. If you are going to make oven BBQ, then make the effort to do it right, but don't pretend it's real smoked BBQ, cuz it ain't! read more

Had a great experience at Lucille's today. The decor is pretty consistent between locations and is pretty neat. Staff here was absolutely wonderful, our waitress was on point with refills and recommendations. The BBQ was very good had brisket, rib tips and jalapeño sausage and they were all good. Wife had a fried chicken that was great. She said it was very good. To top it off the staff gave my wife a birthday card that they all signed. We were in town to visit my dad for Christmas, and he said he had to take us to a different Lucille's than we had visited a few years earlier when his wife was still with us. We thought maybe it was just because of the memories, but we were wrong. The difference in the two locations was immediately realized by us. Not that anything was wrong with the previous location, but this one felt different. The entire atmosphere was different. As soon as we walked into the Green Valley location in The District, we honestly felt transported to a different time and place. We were in a Southern farmhouse and being helped by the wonderful Daphne. She took our drink orders and then said she would bring us some biscuits. She in fact brought us amazing biscuits with fantastic butter. I could have just reordered these a few times and been happy with those as my meal, but we were in for more. My dad ordered a third of a rack of ribs and a couple of sides which he loved and quickly devoured (his favorite meal). My wife and I each got some bowls with some kind of devilish brisket and fajitas combo which we both were super happy with. Definitely on the returning to get more list. This Lucille's is amazing and brought back my trust for this establishment. My wife and I visit Las Vegas every year for the 4th of July. The 4th of July is our anniversary so we meet friends after to celebrate. Last 4th July, we visited Lucille's for our luncheon at Red Rock. Let's just say it wasn't a pleasant experience with the food being cold and service poor. But Lucille's at Green Valley, it was remarkable starting with our server Michelle. Started us off with fried onion straws and watermelon cocktails along with chicken strips with bbq ranch. My wife ordered the 1/2 baby back rib, cheese & mack and Cole slaw. I had the beef rib dinner with backed beans and potato salad. We also enjoyed there biscuits with honey butter which is to die for. The meat was smoky, hot and tender. I decided to take the family out to dinner. What a brutal disappointment. I let the server know the television was delayed compared to the others. Literally just to let her know and my response was, "I can only do what I can do" service was slow, food was average at best. The manager was awful, and almost seemed as though he did not want us there. I should have guessed things have changed here based on the emptiness of the restaurant. We got there and it wasn't too busy, as we dined in, it was a full house but our service was quick. Complimentary biscuits which were delicious, I ordered the two meat combos with two sides. Half rack ribs and country fried chicken gravy on the side. I also tried the cauliflower appetizers which is highly recommended. I've gone to many Lucille's however this is the Best! Located outside of Green Valley Casino in the village Walk. The staff is on all the time checking for any needs we had and refills. We decided to go into the bar since it was only 2 of us and I wanted to see the Wildcard Games . It is clean and welcoming - everyone was enjoying the game and company within, even the staff got involved. We were given the biscuit which was freshly made and the apple butter- YUM! The meal was more than enough because we also had a couple of biscuits. The ribs and brisket were cooked to perfection- they were tender and yet moist - perfect! Stopped by here for their Happy Hour since I was around. Pretty slow but the restaurant itself is so huge! And the decor is great since there's a different theme in each room. Patio area looks great to be in once things start warming up. Food was delicious! Happy Hour is worth it! Got a great meal without having to break the bank. 2 Piece Chicken was so delicious! Very crispy and juicy! Their BBQ sauces are really good paired with it and Hot Honey. Fried Pickles were great! Came here for one of my girlfriend's birthdays. It's a good place for families and very kid friendly. The service was good. The only thing is that my friend ordered the watermelon iced tea and she did not like the flavor, so she asked the server to exchange it with a half cut sweet tea. When she brought back the iced tea which was supposed to be half cut sweet tea she realized it still tasted like the watermelon tea. When she asked the server, the server said she just added some sugar in the watermelon tea. She did rectify the situation and brought her a sweet tea. Some of the food was good, and some of the food was dry. Everyone really loved the St. Louis ribs, perfect amount of fat and flavor. The brisket was dry, we asked the server and he brought us more brisket, which was less dry, but still not very good. I didn't care for the country gravy, but the mashed potatoes were really good. The biscuits with the apple butter always hits. I didn't get the banana pudding this time but I remember it being really good last time I was here. I will definitely come back here! I love the decor and the southern themed vibes. Our server Daphne was kind and very attentive. We had the lunch deal-two meats and one side. It's a good price, the portions are a bit small but what you would expect for a lunch special. The food came out within five minutes which would be great but the food wasn't necessarily fresh. From the start I was genuinely impressed by their menu. Lucille's location at the district has been around since I can remember and I'm born and raised. That also means they held it down through COVID. The atmosphere gave me a feeling that it was a beautiful day and made more prone to adventuring the rest of my day. Usually I'm hit with fatigue after I eat, especially at a restaurant. The retro style lay out was a great mid day setting and wasn't over stimulating for me.
