Really love the location, very close to GVR & the restaurant makes you feel like your down South somewhere. The BBQ was good and the service was on point. I had the special choose 2 meats; I did the St. Louis Ribs with the Texas Red Hot Sausage. This is a really good spot to bring visitors for some good BBQ. It's a little on the pricier side but I think worth it if you are entertaining family/guests. The restaurant does give you that down South feel and it's located in a nice spot in the District, walking distance to Green Valley Ranch Casino.

As a celiac and as someone who has traveled around to so many great bbq places around the US, Lucille's is nearly inedible now. While there is a gluten-free menu, tons of options aren't actually gluten-free (ex: fries, anything with tortilla chips) because they're cooked in a shared fryer with battered gluten items. The actual gluten-free options are severely lacking. Brisket & tri-tip are both an upcharge and it's the driest, least flavorful brisket and tri-tip I've ever had. The garlic mashed potatoes are blah. The jalapeño sausage was pretty good. It's a real shame that most bbq places are gluten-free except for bread, desserts and mac and cheese, but at Lucille's even baked potatoes aren't gluten-free (skins rubbed in flour to make them crispy.) There are so many good bbq places out there so save your money and go there instead. Service was fine and I do like the cute decor of the restaurant. Latest visit: May 2026

Was in the mood for BBQ and having gift cards made it easier! We ordered the feast for 2 which had 3 meats, 2 sides and dessert. We had pulled pork, brisket and baby back ribs and the 2 sides were garlic mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. We had peanut butter ice cream pie. Everything was served on a tray so we were able to share it easily! The pulled pork was amazing and the meat for the ribs just fell off the bone! The brisket was a bit fatty so I did t care for it. The garlic mashed did not lack any garlic flavor but the Mac and cheese was a disappointment. The Caesar salad wasn't to my liking as I have never heard of it being served with tomato. It wasn't good. The dessert was a generous piece and was very good with amazing whipped cream on the side!

Complete trash. Its maybe good 1 out of every 5 times coming to this location. Ever since they got rid of the greens this place fell completely off. The chef today was able to ruin brisket, chicken and some other meat. I cant believe the chefs that are being hired. Such a disgrace to the name and bbq food. Chicken was pink & brisket was very rubbery our server was great!

Best happy hour in a Wednesday when it's Whiskey Wednesday where you get to pick and choose from a big list of Whiskies and the prices are cut down so live a little! Food is always pretty fair. As far as servers go Cecilia was legit! Happy Hour is 3-6 and lunch menu is on till 4 pm so that's a bonus!

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar-B-Q has been a go to location in Henderson for BBQ for many years. The restaurant is always clean and the food is consistently good. Service is always excellent as well. Stopped in for dinner on a Wednesday night. We were seated quickly. I love their biscuits and had a few while we waited for our order. This time I tried their New Orleans Gumbo - very tasty and a generous serving size (I didn't finish it and took some home). Finished the meal with their Banana Pudding - good stuff!

What in the world!!! We had Lucille's for the first time for Thanksgiving! We were blown away!!! I had such low expectations for this place. We ordered the Thanksgiving take away meal which include smoked turkey, biscuits, Mac and cheese, corn bread, stuffing, cranberry sauce. Everything was absolutely amazing from the sides to the smoke turkey! It was not even dry! It like melted in your mouth! We are convinced now to get this every year. We liked it so much that we even got takeout for Christmas! That brisket and tri-tip was on point!! Service is slow during the holidays. Everyone trying to get their meals! Ambiance is casual We love Lucille's! I can't wait to get it again!

Ahh Lucille's in the District... When you enter the doors the feel of the decor sets the tone of a true authentic Texas like BBQ. Now you're expecting nothing short. You start with the complimentary biscuits and those are pretty good which is a great first impression. As for me- I've been here a couple of times, and let me tell you, the food and service are absolutely phenomenal! I had Brisket, mac & Cheese, pork belly bites, Onion strings, Ribs, and beans...yum I also came for Thanksgiving, and even though it was very busy, the Thanksgiving meal was incredibly delicious as well!

I truly love the service here! They were so nice and helpful with the menus and explained some of the items I was confused of. I ended up getting the $14.99 deal where it came with coleslaw, fries and shrimp. I change coleslaw for cornbread. The shrimp was delicious and I felt I got my moneys worth with the lemonade. The biscuits were mouth watering and the cream that came with it.

Still happy with the service at Lucille's. Juan has been a great waiter every time we have him. They changed their menu to do add on pricing for a few meats now when purchasing two-three meat combos or specials. It can get expensive if you don't read that and changes from 1/2 rack to 1/3 rack ribs. +$3 tri-tip (better than their dry brisket), +$8 beef ribs (best item on menu). The deals of the days of the week help reduce the prices. $50 instead of $60 for the 3 (1/3)meats + appetizer + dessert combo on Tuesdays. The banana pudding is worth trying. I think it was the last one our list of desserts to try and it is the best as it's made in house. I like the brisket cheese dip better than the veggie artichoke dip. The piggyback fries were tasty also a new menu item. They have the on table semi order semi pay system but each time we have a gift card or want to split the bill with other people not directly down the middle so it became useless.

Very good Happy hour here....in the mood for some bbq, so we hit up the bar. I like this bar..it is spacious and inviting. We ordered two draft beers that were two dollars off. They were cold and tasted great. I ordered the wedge salad and the rib tips..hub got the pulled pork sandwich. All of these items are at a great price. They also threw in some biscuits with honey butter for no charge. Food was delicious and the waitress did a really good job taking care of us. We have been here before for the very generous Veteran giveaway, but this happy hour will now be on our radar when we are craving some good BBQ.

Met up with friends for Happy Hour - got a table in the bar area. Their HH menu has quite a number of options which is getting rare for happy hours lately. I had the 2 piece fried chicken that came with a honey sauce on the side - very good! And my friends liked the pulled pork sandwich, fried onions, and the powdered beignets! Service was great too. Their happy hour is worth checking out.

The sausage was a jalapeño cheddar sausage. For my side, I had mac & cheese and coleslaw. To start off, this is a great place. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars I would but I like to round up. Brisket is really good but a little dry in the mouth. Great Smoky flavor. The mouth-feel was just a little off. It was a little dry, but not bad. The pulled pork was wonderful. Nice Smoky flavor. Nice and tender and juicy. Felt great to chew in my mouth and did not feel dry. A+ for the Pork. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was amazing. Really well done. Flavor was great texture was great. Just a little kick, which was great. I always wish there was more kick, but I understand you got a cater to your customers. One thing I was kind of concerned about was the temperature of the coleslaw. It should be really cold, but it was just kind of a little bit of above lukewarm, but not really cold. Coleslaw should be cold. The mac & cheese was pretty good. Needs a little bit more liquid in it but the flavor was awesome. And it looks like they prepackage the Mac 'n cheese in containers and then sprinkle some cheese on top. That's a nice touch, but it makes the whole container of mac & cheese dry out. They only have one barbecue sauce. It was pretty good. But to me the best way to judge barbecue is if it doesn't eat barbecue sauce. And this did not need barbecue sauce. It was just a nice addition. Great ambience. Great music playing. Very clean and well kept area. I would definitely come back when I'm on this side of town.

The brisket sandwich was outstanding: certified Angus beef cooked low and slow, seasoned with their Texas-style rub, sliced thick, and stacked high on grilled Texas toast. Very satisfying. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno. The service was super quick. I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for our meal. It was nice that our meal was served in to go containers as well! The highlight of the meal was the blueberry chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and tender. The blueberry aioli and the jam was scrumptious. This was a first time having a sandwich like this before! I would come back to Smoke & Fire just to get the sandwich. The BBQ pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket was good. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the sweet potato tots though! I don't normally see sweet potato tots so I just had to try it out! They were super crispy and packed with flavor. The food was yummy here and the service was fantastic! If I'm in the area again, I would stop by Smoke & Fire to have another meal. I think next time though, I am going to have to try out their pulled pork burger!

The skinny on this place is that Henderson actually has been getting some interesting food…read more Hog & Tradition launched last year in a repurposed SkinnyFATS space (also negating the Blaze of Thunder drive-thru cooncept), proudly proclaiming the arrival of Dominican-influenced BBQ. It appears that they've streamlined the concept a little, paring the sandwich menu from 9 down to 4 and the sides from 10 to just 6. Fortunately, there are still 5 proteins, and my friend and I tried all of them when we each ordered a Combo Plate 3 ($28.00), which comes with 3 meats and 2 sides. Smoked Brisket (+$2.00 for selecting this protein): seemingly cut from the flat end of the brisket, but with a healthy layer of fat on one side. Fell apart a little too easily, thus not meeting the technical requirements of brisket. Tasted pretty good overall aside from the smoke being mild, and went well with all the sauces and the chimichurri too. Pork Belly Chicharron: perhaps the actual intended recipient of the chimichurri. Crispy on the outside, melty on the inside. Goes well with any of the sauces. My 2nd favorite of the proteins. Pulled Pork: a serviceable, tender pulled pork. Just not that exciting. 3 St. Louis Ribs: perhaps actually my favorite since it was very tender and the most obviously smoked of any of the meats. Chicken Quarter: thigh and drum. Lots of Montreal steak seasoning, per my friend, which reminded me of lemon pepper. Juicy and tender. Not as inherently flavorful as my preferred pork proteins. Sides: pretty solid overall. Mac and cheese was solid, creamy coleslaw was refreshing but not strictly needed, collard greens were fine but not very intense, baked beans were sweet and tender. Ube Cornbread comes with the combo and is great. The ube flavor is prominent, and I enjoyed it both with and without butter. The pickles included in the combo were fine but not amazing. Sauces: they aren't amazing, but they do the job. The sweet mustard could have been developed more, and the hot BBQ wasn't that hot, but they all added enough flavor. The chimichurri in my combo didn't hit as intensely as I usually find it; maybe a different vinegar was subbed in? I got a cup for soda ($3.00) and tried to do an Arnold Palmer, but the unsweetened iced tea must have had peach flavor since the only other components were ice and lemonade. Not unwelcome, just different than I expected. The ceiling fans probably helped keep us cool enough, but they were also running a bit too strongly considering their thin paper towels. None of the TVs were tuned to the Stanley Cup Finals for some reason, just some old or offseason NFL coverage. Hog & Tradition is a fun spot that brings a few twists to a solid take on BBQ. It doesn't strike me as a Dominican-leading spot in its current form, and a lot of the smoke is subtle at best, but nothing which I tried today was unlikeable. This is a must-try for pork belly fans all over the valley or carnivores in general in Henderson.

The chicharrones were so soft yet crispy, and the cilantro sauce accompanying them was DELICIOUS! The rub on the brisket was so crispy and flavorful, probably the best rub I've ever had. Despite the crispiness, the forks were useless because the meat was so tender. The ribs were just as fall-off-the-bone. The BBQ sauces were good; hot not really being hot at all, but the meat was so good that it was no problem at all. Service was very kind and quick, the decor was well thought out and on theme (love the piggys!), and the space great for groups. I'd love to use the patio and get some beers on tap next time! 10/10
