The ambiance was pretty and diverse with an outdoor patio, bar section, and bench area. There are special bbq sauces and mustard by the soda machine. The bbq sauces tasted pretty similar to me with no spice. My partner enjoyed the mustard. You order at the front and pick up your food when they call your number. Service is minimal but efficient. The brisket was pretty dry and bland. I was expecting more smokey bbq flavor, but all the flavor came from dipping in the bbq sauce. The pork ribs were tender but also bland. I expect BBQ to have the bbq taste, but it just tasted like they made the meat on the grill rather than actually barbecuing it. The mac n cheese was good but borderline lukewarm/cold. I was a little disappointed about that. The ube cornbread is almost a disgrace and insulting to call it ube. It just tasted like normal cornbread with purple coloring in it. I tasted no hints of i've at all. It was also pretty dry. The smoked cubano was decent. I like ed the chimichurri sauce and the pickles. Without these two elements, the cubano would be pretty bare. The meat was alright, not the best but not the worst. For the price, quantity, and quality I received, I'm not planning on going back.

Randomly found this place nearby, and was craving for some BBQ. Restaurant is very clean and spacious inside. Got the 2 Meat Combo and it was A LOT of food and worth the price. Brisket and Ribs were really delicious and seasoned. The Mac n Cheese was decent but loved the Baked Beans! Wasn't able to finish my food but still had a lot to take home for left overs. Service was great, staff had great energy and was really on point with everything from checking in and helping us clearing our table.

We love ribs, like most people. When we seen these ribs online I knew we had to try them. Glad we did. Love the light Smokey flavor with their rub on it. They were also juicy and meaty. What else could you ask for? Oh! How about some sauce. Well they have those too. We ordered our ribs plain so we could add our own sauce. They had 3 different types. A mustard, sweet bbq and spicy bbq. I liked the spicy bbq the best. It was very mild but with a little extra flavor. We also tried the mac and cheese. It wasn't our favorite. I like my mac and cheese more gooey and this was a more dry type. The restaurant was nice and clean with lots of room for seating and moving around. There were TVs with sports playing if you like sports with your ribs. We enjoyed our meal and we are glad that we found about spot to enjoy some ribs.

Ok.. so I work in the same parking lot. So you know I had to try it! The service was great! Everyone was super helpful and guided on how and what to order as well as bringing extra napkins when they saw our roll was out. The chicharron, wings, brisket, chimichurri, and Mac and cheese are BOMB. I could do without the ribs.. they just don't do it for me. The bread pudding needs ice cream. So might do that for to go next time. I do like the backyard area, because they have plastic axe throwing and it's entertaining. I would love to go back soon, but need an eating partner. Interested? lol.

BBQ! Great ambience. Slipped in here for lunch! Yum! The Brisket, Mac n Cheese and Une Cornbread were all very good. My hubby had the Briscuit Sandwich and Coleslaw.. they were both very good as well. Service and Staff were excellent, can't complain at all. All reasonably priced. Great BBQ... what are you waiting for!?

Was in Henderson for the day so I stopped by to pick up some food to go. What I loved is that prices were reasonable, which for bbq it's been getting out of hand at some of these places lol My first time here and will not be the last . We really enjoyed all of our food. Keep in mind I had to drive 35 min home so maybe eating there would have been better. Brisket 5/5 Pulled Pork4/5 Chicken 4/5 really good Ribs 3.5/5 they were not bad, I'm just not a bbq sauce girly next time I will ask for no sauce Greens 3.7/5 would get again, the portion is what kind threw us off, so much juice not enough of the actual greens so kinda felt like it was a waste for the $5 add on. Mac n cheese 3.8/5 decent would get again Rice &Peas 1/5 im so sad about this. Maybe I tried on an off day but it looked beautiful but nooooo flavor. Ube Cornbread 4/5 it was delish If you are in the area def check them out. Door was good, customer service was great

I'm sure it was something healthy before this restaurant opened but they did a really nice job with the decor inside & the pet friendly patio area. There's a bar inside with a TV playing sports, a steel bench seating area and few more high tops and tables in the back. You can even order your food through the computer in the front. I had the smoked brisket, the St Louis Ribs with Mac n cheese & coleslaw. Everything was excellent & what you would expect from a good BBQ place. I also thought the prices were really good, I got my meal with a drink for just under $30. The meat and ribs were tender and juicy, I also tried both the sweet and hot sauces . The Ube cornbread was good, I didn't really taste any Ube but the purple cornbread was delicious. All in all I was happily stuffed & will be back again with friends and family. Really good BBQ, that won't break the bank!

We got our order to go and was excited to try this new bbq place. It looked great based on photos and I also noticed there's more cars there than there was when the restaurant was skinny fats. So first look, portions are big! I ordered the combo with chicharron and ribs with a side of mac and cheese and baked beans. My partner ordered the combo as well with brisket and pulled pork with mac and cheese and fries. Taste was a hit, but there was one big miss. The sides were outstanding. They were so great that I actually think they were better than the bbq meats! And meats... so I didn't like my chicharron or ribs at all because of a small mishap, which was pickle juice! I dislike pickles and since this was my first time, I didn't know the pickle would be directly in my order and it was big juicy ones too. I feel like that altered the taste completely. The container with my meats had pickled onions and pickles in it, which the meats got saturated in and since it was to go, I pretty much marinated and soaked up all the juice. I ended up stealing my partner's order. Brisket was dry to me. After we had the ube corn bread. That was pretty good and a nice surprise since we didn't order it. Overall, sides were amazing. Next time, I'll ask for no pickles or pickled onions now that I know. Also prepare yourself, because the portions are huge!

Arrived on a Thursday evening for dinner, and there was plenty of seating. They also have plenty of parking! It's self serve, so you go up to the counter to order, then find an open seat. Ordered Combo Plate 3, good to share between 2 people. Smoked Brisket (4/10) - On the dryer side, didn't have that deep of a smoked flavor, and overall kind of just tough to the bite - They give a good amount of meat, but it was just too dry and flavorless to enjoy properly. Also they +2$ to get this item, which kinda sucks Pulled Pork (5/10) - This was a little less dry than the brisket, although it defintely didn't have the smoked flavor again. Was slightly disappointed Pork Belly Chicharron (6/10) - This one was actually crispy, and slightly melt-in-your-mouth - I'm not the biggest fan of chicharron, but as far as chicharron's go, this was not terrible. Ube Cornbread (3/10) - The concept is great, name sounds good, poor execution - Cornbread was SUPER DRY!!!! Literally couldn't cut it with a knife. When using a fork, we had to push down super hard just to break a piece off.

Hog & Tradition a new BBQ restaurant in Henderson. Texas-style BBQ with Dominican Republic influence. Casual dining, TV's, spacious, regular & picnic style tables, a bar with a variety of beers on tap, has outdoor seating available & also pet friendly. I love that the color scheme is purple because it is my absolute favorite color. Place your order first at the counter, the cashier will give you a buzzer & once your meal is ready you'll pick it up at the counter. There's a self serve beverage and sauce section. Shout out to Diamond who greeted us, she was sweet & polite she took our order, also gave good feedback on the menu & checked on us while we were eating. On the menu: Smoked Cubano Sandwich with Mac & Cheese/Platano Maduro (Sweet Plantains) Combo plate 1 - choose 1 meat - Brisket with Mac & Cheese/Collard Greens Combo plate 2 - choose 2 meat - 1/4 Ribs & Smoked Brisket with Arroz con Habichuelas (Rice & Beans)/Mac Salad Southern Bread Pudding Combo plates include Ube Cornbread, BBQ Sauce, Pickels and Pickled Onions Our food came out looking good and it sure was good too. The Brisket was tender & well seasoned. The sides we ordered were very good. The Mac & Cheese was creamy, cheesy & tasty, not bland at all. My Brothers liked their sweet plantains, rice & beans & the Mac Salad. The Collard Greens were ok it was a bit too spicy for me. My Brother liked the Smoked Cubano Sandwich he said it was delicious. The Ube Cornbread was a hit pleasant-tasting & we could taste the Ube flavor but I thought the dollop of butter was a lot I only used what I needed. The Southern Bread Pudding was so good a perfect treat for the dessert. We did have some leftovers to take home. Overall we enjoyed the food/service & will be back again.

Just stopped in to check this place out. Shared a combo plate (3 meats) with Carlos. Meat by itself was seasoned and smoked well, chicken was chefs kiss and brisket fall apart awesome. Chicarones were superb, crispy, fatty, tender! Coleslaw was very good, had a little apple in it which was a nice surprise. I usually don't like most places coleslaw, but I would order this again.

Hog & Tradition is the BBQ gem we didn't know we needed. My girlfriend and I split a Combo Plate #3, and we chose ours come with smoked brisket, pulled pork, leg quarter, mac & cheese, and an extra ube cornbread. Every bite delivered. Brisket was tender and juicy, pulled pork came with a punch of pickled relish, and their mustard sauce tied it all together. Don't sleep on that ube cornbread--it's dessert disguised as a side. But it's not just about the food--the ambience is what really rounds out the experience. Inside, you've got family-style bench seating that makes it feel like you're at a casual summer cookout. There's a 21+ section tucked away for those looking to unwind with drinks, and the outdoor area gives picnic table, chill-in-the-sun BBQ vibes. Even the table décor (like the piggy flower vases) adds a fun and inviting touch. The servers also make their rounds to make sure everything is tasting great and to keep the vibes up. Whether you're coming with friends, family, or a date, it's the kind of place where you kick back, get messy, and feel right at home. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area--or even a short drive if you're staying on the Strip and want real BBQ. They have an all-you-can-eat option if you're that hungry or adventurous!

The sausage was a jalapeño cheddar sausage. For my side, I had mac & cheese and coleslaw. To start off, this is a great place. If I could give it 4 1/2 stars I would but I like to round up. Brisket is really good but a little dry in the mouth. Great Smoky flavor. The mouth-feel was just a little off. It was a little dry, but not bad. The pulled pork was wonderful. Nice Smoky flavor. Nice and tender and juicy. Felt great to chew in my mouth and did not feel dry. A+ for the Pork. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was amazing. Really well done. Flavor was great texture was great. Just a little kick, which was great. I always wish there was more kick, but I understand you got a cater to your customers. One thing I was kind of concerned about was the temperature of the coleslaw. It should be really cold, but it was just kind of a little bit of above lukewarm, but not really cold. Coleslaw should be cold. The mac & cheese was pretty good. Needs a little bit more liquid in it but the flavor was awesome. And it looks like they prepackage the Mac 'n cheese in containers and then sprinkle some cheese on top. That's a nice touch, but it makes the whole container of mac & cheese dry out. They only have one barbecue sauce. It was pretty good. But to me the best way to judge barbecue is if it doesn't eat barbecue sauce. And this did not need barbecue sauce. It was just a nice addition. Great ambience. Great music playing. Very clean and well kept area. I would definitely come back when I'm on this side of town.

This place has a legit small-town feel and serves some excellent barbecue. We ordered the Burger special, sliders (one pork and one brisket), and The Brisket sandwich. The sliders were huge for sliders and served on big toasted buns and piled high with coleslaw, onions, pickles, and pepperoncinis. Both meats were flavorful and tender. The brisket sandwich was outstanding: certified Angus beef cooked low and slow, seasoned with their Texas-style rub, sliced thick, and stacked high on grilled Texas toast. Very satisfying. For drinks, we had a couple Hazy Fox IPAs and two Huckleberry Lemonades that were on special for $5, which were a fun and refreshing choice. The sides were just as impressive. My family ordered the 50/50 bowl with half mac & cheese and half cowboy beans which was outstanding. The cowboy beans were especially packed with flavor. We also tried the fried okra and potato salad. The okra was amazing; crispy and delicious. The potato salad was just okay for me and a little bland, but I'm from the north, so I know everyone makes potato salad differently depending on the region. Usually it's just to fly out of Las Vegas for a work trip. This time though, I was in area for the US Post office. Looking for nearby places to eat, I saw that Smoke & Fire was only 10 minutes away! My husband and I stopped by for dinner around 3:30 P.M on a Friday at Smoke & Fire. The restaurant is located near South Pecos Road and East Russell Road. There was plenty of parking spots available. As I walked inside the restaurant, a team member had greeted us and let us know that it was open seating. There were only a few other customers inside the restaurant at the time we had dinner. There was plenty of tables inside and outside the restaurant though! TVs were situated throughout the restaurant. There was a variety of sports games playing. When we sat at our table, the team member brought over menus and asked if we'd like anything to drink while we looked through the menu. She also went through any dietary restrictions and some of their highlights at the restaurant, specifically, Smoke & Fire is known for their blueberry chicken sandwich. There are other options on their menu though, like BBQ items! Meat platters: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Smoked Ribs, Hot Links, smoked Chicken Quarters. Sandwiches: Chicken Sandwiches, Brisket Sandwich, Donut Smashed Burger (Seasonal), Sliders Chicken and Waffles, Street Style Tacos, Chicken Tenders and more! After looking through the menu, we ultimately decided on the following 3 Meat Platter: Pulled Chicken, Pulled Pork, and Brisket with Mac N Cheese/Sweet Potato Tots The World Famous Blueberry Chicken Sandwich: Pepper Jack Cheese, Housemade Blueberry Jam, blueberry aioli, and Jalapeno. The service was super quick. I don't think we waited longer than 10 minutes for our meal. It was nice that our meal was served in to go containers as well! The highlight of the meal was the blueberry chicken sandwich. The chicken was juicy and tender. The blueberry aioli and the jam was scrumptious. This was a first time having a sandwich like this before! I would come back to Smoke & Fire just to get the sandwich. The BBQ pulled pork, pulled chicken and brisket was good. I enjoyed the mac n cheese and the sweet potato tots though! I don't normally see sweet potato tots so I just had to try it out! They were super crispy and packed with flavor. The food was yummy here and the service was fantastic! If I'm in the area again, I would stop by Smoke & Fire to have another meal. I think next time though, I am going to have to try out their pulled pork burger!
