The menu also has a little Hawaiian flair sprinkled in, reflecting the owners' love for Hawaii, with things like loco moco, an island breakfast and Huli-Huli chicken alongside the traditional diner favorites. This was my second visit, and the food has been very good both times. Today I had an egg-white veggie omelet and added chicken. It was really tasty, loaded with vegetables and cooked well. On my first visit I had the tuna sandwich, which is something restaurants manage to screw up surprisingly often, but theirs was delicious. My buddy ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, and the burger looked amazing. I got to steal a few fries and can confirm those were very good too. One of the best parts of Pacific Diner is the staff. Everyone we dealt with was pleasant, personable and genuinely fun to talk to. They happily answered our questions and had that friendly, caring personality you hope to find in a neighborhood diner. Prices are also very reasonable, especially compared with what breakfast and lunch cost at a lot of places these days. The one thing to be aware of is parking. This part of Downtown Henderson can get busy, and there are several nearby lots where you are NOT allowed to park unless you're visiting those particular businesses, with towing signs posted. If the street spaces immediately around the diner are full, just plan on spending a few minutes looking for a legal spot nearby.
