Fabulous plumbers. Mike and Tom are the best in the business. We had pipe we needed removed and thought it would be a big, expensive job. My wife first called the major plumbing companies, you know, the ones who spend tons on TV ads. None of those national companies would give us a straight answer on how much it would cost. They all wanted to charge for an estimate, then said it would be weeks before they could do the job. Or a major jump in price if we needed the job done right away. I can understand needing an estimate, but at least they could have given us a ballpark price and not the runaround. Then we called Badger plumbing. Left a voice mail message. Mike got back to us within a half hour. We explained the problem and he said he was on his way to another job not far from us, but he didn't think our job would take long and he stopped by within 10 minutes. Amazing! He was very professional and knowledgeable. He quickly and accurately figured out what to do and fixed it in 20 minutes. His fees were very (I'll emphasize VERY) reasonable. My wife was thrilled with Mike's work. And so was I. All plumbers or anyone in skilled trades can learn from Mike and Tom. Again, a fabulous plumbing company. I highly recommend them. I have never had more immediate, knowledgeable, compassionate service from any home repair professional. I called at 8:30 PM--PM!!!--because we sprung a leak in our upstairs master bath. It had already filled the light fixture on the first floor and leaked to the basement. We couldn't turn off the water source because we were afraid if we forced it too much, it would totally pop off. Mike called us back (thank you) and even though he was clearly tired and had hauled, carried and installed three water heaters that day, he said he would come and at least turn off the water supply. He didn't just come. He was able to fix it. He also recommended a company to come in and help us with the water remediation on the multiple floors. Still need to have the plumbing reinstalled but I will definitely call Mike and Badger when the insurance gets rolling... read more

Can not recommend. Recommended to us by a friend and hired to do some small items at our home (kitchen faucet install, new toilet repair assembly in upstairs hall bath). New toilet repair assembly started leaking in less than 6 months and wouldn't stand behind work, i.e. new service call. Feel consumer can do better with their hard earned money. Glad I found Badger Plumbing in our local Next Door Group. I am remodeling my kitchen and I needed someone to fix a gas pipe with new shutoff for the stove and Tom came and did a very nice job. Then I had a new problem when I took out the old sink cabinets. My vent pipe was rusted thru and was causing some mold behind the wall so I called Badger and they were busy on another job but Tom decided to come and see what the job would entail and he saw it was not too complex so he completed the repair and removed the old rotted metal vent pipe and installed a new PVC section .... job done. i definitely will be calling when the new sink and counter top are done. I rarely write reviews but I am taking the time to write one today because of the exceptional service Mike at Badger Plumbing provided. I had a very difficult kitchen faucet replacement job (2 others have tried and gave up!) and Mike was wonderful in finding a creative solution to remove a very stubborn old faucet in an impossibly small area without damaging my beautiful granite counter top. He also fixed my problematic toilet in one of my bathrooms and also fixed some leaky gas underneath my stove top. Mike was competent, kind and helpful in meeting my various plumbing needs. Badger Plumbing was OK, but I don't think we'll be calling them again. We had two different experiences, one positive and one negative. When we were in the process of purchasing our house, we called Badger for an estimate on a sewer repair, and we were very impressed. Tom met me at the house the next day, was very experienced, knowledgeable and helpful, and he gave us a fair estimate for the work. We ended up asking the seller to complete the repair, so we didn't use Badger for the job, but we had an excellent impression of Badger Plumbing. So, two months later, we are in our new house, and we have two leaky sinks. Since we had such a great experience with Badger, I called them again. This time, however, they sent out someone who appeared to be a rookie (maybe leaky sinks don't warrant the A-Team?), and it took him WAY longer than it should have to complete the repair. He was crawling around our crawl space looking for the water shut-off, which was right next to the sink we asked him to fix. He didn't have the right parts and ran to the store. He tinkered with the faucets for most of the afternoon and seemed genuinely perplexed. He eventually figured it out and stopped the leaks, but meanwhile, he was charging us by the hour. I'm happy to pay a reasonable hourly rate for a competent plumber, but I have a problem paying full price when the plumber is clearly still learning the ropes. My recommendation for Badger would be to send out the rookies (with the customer's knowledge and permission) for a lower rate. I would have been fine with the situation if Badger had been upfront about sending the B-Team and had priced the work accordingly, but it was very frustrating to pay a high hourly rate for a plumber whose inexperience made the job take far longer than it should have. read more

Was remodeling a bathroom and Mike came highly recommended. Mike came out, looked at the job and we coordinated with the tile setter. The bathtub was removed and a full 60" shower (custom) was to be installed. The old tub drain had to be moved but a floor joist was in the way. Mike was able to move/install the drain without cutting the floor joist. Mike also came up with an "emergency clean-out" in the event the drain ever needs to be cleaned out due to a blockage--the "clean-out" is hidden in plain site. The clean out was installed because the master bathroom and a hall bathroom share the same wall that contains the drain line and water supplies. Very professional and knows his stuff.
