I love a mom and pop bagel place but this is just not it anymore. I went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't particularly busy (nothing like the other local bagel places). I had to wait 40 minutes for 2 breakfast sandwiches. The owner was impressively slow on the grill and not good at multi tasking, at times only working with one meal on the griddle when there was a long string of tickets sitting on the printer being ignored. When another customer complained, he cited a lack of help which I've heard him complain about on prior occasions but more help won't do anything if you won't cook the food. I also watched them serve up slightly warmed raw potatoes that sat on the grill for less than 5 minutes. The kicker is that after all that waiting, I bite into my sandwich to be surprised with the crunch of broken egg shells. Yuck! read more

Wow good things come in unassuming packages... delicious sloppy veggie omelet with juicy home fries and possibly the best rye toast I've ever had.... Counter service, to-go setup, and kinda beat seating area but I don't think I'd change a thing tbh. read more

Wow ! Another great tasting Hanukkah party catered by Bagel Bistro. Bagels were absolutely delicious as was the lox, whitefish salad and yummy cream cheese. Unbelievable filth!!!! I was using the coffee milk, 1/2n1/2 dispenser next to the soda dispenser and I just started laughing at the total filth. I was in utter shock that they would allow this condition. The main counter was covered in crumbs and who knows what. I canceled my order and they demanded to know why, I was more than happy to point out the neglected cleaning and sanitation of the place. Then the battle really started, trying to make me look like the bad guy because for pointing out the unsanitary conditions. However, the bagel could have been more toasted but that's probably on me for not specifying to have a toasty bagel. Big call out from me is that the bagel was very small which made for a smaller sandwich which isn't always fun. The place was decently big inside but not that great to sit in. The Bagel Bistro catered our annual family Channukah party. Placing the order was very easy and Amanda was most helpful in suggesting items and quantities we would need. But the best was the reaction of our guests. Everyone loved the whitefish and lox platter, sandwich tray and we all devoured the tasty , fresh, assorted bagels. Just moved to the area and was hoping to make this my daily breakfast spot...boy was I disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was a 5/10 at best, overcooked dry eggs, cooked bacon that had been sitting in a warming tray for hours, and a dry tasteless bagel. I made the mistake of adding avocado to my sandwich and was horrified when I opened it up. The avocado I got was rotten and black. I eat a lot of avocados, so I know how they look when they're exposed to air, this was not that. This avocado was so clearly rotten that it was black, certainly not fresh by any means. I don't know how you could possibly serve this to customers in good faith. I also ordered a hash brown that I didn't receive, but still paid for. Icing on the cake! $10 down the drain, next time I'll just got to wawa and get 4 sizzlis for the same price. At least the quality will be better! read more

Hadn't been to BB for a few years, so I was excited to revisit them. Unfortunately, prices seem to have gone way up from what I remember. It was $17.17 for two chicken salad sandwiches, that's it. No drinks, no cookies, no chips, nothing else, just bagel sandwiches that came with a pickle slice and a little shot of coleslaw. They were very light on the meat too. And I am confused as to why they used broken toothpicks / skewers, with splinters on the end, to hold the sandwich together? Super disappointing. The taste was fine, but not as good as other bagel places, especially for the money. I tried to access their menu in multiple places online beforehand, but couldn't find one anywhere. Now I know why. We'd have passed them up for another lunch spot if we had found the menu with current prices. Very bummed to have gone back to a place I used to really like, for super-overpriced food. We liked this place so much we came twice. The bagels are amazing. I asked for a suggestion and the woman behind the counter suggested garlic and cream cheese... great suggestion. I was skeptical, but it qwas delicious. So was the cream cheese brownie btw. And I'm really picky about my brownies. Also got an egg and cheese sandwich on a bagel and it was really good. They're coffee and hot chocolate is great, and they have various smoothies (I think I'm going to try tree chocolate one with nutella and peanut butter next time). Yes, I can agree with the other reviewers that the service doesn't always cone with an overly cheerful smile. But they're still very friendly and will offer up suggestions. Pricing isn't bad either. We stopped in here this morning for breakfast on our way to SAP. We usually run through the drive through at the Burger King in the same parking lot since it's quick and we really love seeing wonderful Joe that works there, but we had some extra time so decided to give this place a try. Nice, seemingly family owned little gem stuck in the middle of a construction riddled older shopping center. This is a nice little deli / sandwich shoppe / cafe` type place. They do cook-to-order breakfasts, salads and sandwiches and have amazing fresh bakery items. They also carry a variety of groceries and beverages, including specialty coffees and smoothies that you can have made-to-order. (Their muffins come in so many unique and interesting flavors that you would not find many other places, are huge, and were only $1 if adding to any sandwich purchase.) I had french toast... very fluffy and flavorful! My son had a breakfast bagel, which was also very fresh and tasty. Worth navigating the construction in the parking lot. We will definitely be back. My one suggestion for staff: Be more in tune w/customers; make sure to look up once in a while and acknowledge them when they are standing there trying to ask a question, and when they leave. (I tried approaching a few times and had to speak up to get them to look up. Once they did, they were helpful, but I would prefer they acknowledge me without me having to get their attention when I'm standing right in front of them.) PS: If you do a YELP check-in here, they give you $1 off any salad. I have been to the Bagel bistro on numerous occasions. I have been coming back for the Cinnamon Rolls! It's my favorite one I've ever had, and they're even BETTER when they're fresh/warm, like the one I had today! Better get there early if you want to get one! I also grabbed a pretzel-shaped salt bagel and I had fun tearing it apart and scraping the excessive amount of salt off of it. The bagels are great and have plenty of taste/flavor. Plus, they're heavy on the seeds, which I like. They make their own flavored cream cheese( chive, vegetable, lox, strawberry, etc.), all of which are delicious! The bagels make a perfect base for the easily spread cream cheese, or the egg sandwiches they make as well. There is a variety of muffins, cookies, cupcakes, and biscotti. Located in a strip mall across from Wawa on Rt 3, the BB is a small spot with some tables. They seem to have a good number of Bagel choices and I heard they are good but we wanted sandwiches. We both had the bacon,egg and American cheese. The egg is fried - I like scrambled or omelette style better. My girlfriend had hers on wheat, I had challah bread. Overall they were good. They hit the spot. I looked at the coffee but wasn't impressed with my choices so I stopped at Dunkins to get java. Stopped in a few weeks ago to bring In bagels to work. The regular guy was not there, there was a handful of bagels in the display. The guy that was working said that they had a leak in the bagel machine and were backed up. Stopped in again today, same thing, no bagels in the display, just a couple bins stacked on top of each other with a scant amount of bagels. Was never acknowledged by the guy behind the counter, so I left.
