I am from the Bronx so I can honestly say that I had a delicious New York tasting poppy seed bagel with bacon, eggs and cheese. The owner was very friendly and the waitress made coffee suggestion. The venue played great music while I ate. it was so worth the drive from Greensboro.

BIG BOSS MAN w/ GARLIC & HERB CREAM CHEESE

First off, the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming from the minute I walked in. They walked me through all the cream cheese options and explained all the salads they had (the chicken salad looked divine!!!). I ordered the big boss man on an everything bagel with garlic and herb cream cheese. The bagel itself was fantastic. Great cream cheese to bagel ratio. Heavy on the egg but still wonderful. I am only eating 4 stars because the price was a bit outrageous. My total was around $14 but again, it was delicious and loved the experience.

We have been here a few times in the past few months. A good bagel is not easy to find in this area.... biscuits yes....bagels not so much. The staff here is mostly young people but friendly. The inside has a number of tables but is not huge. It seems most people pick up to go orders. It's clean and I usually get an everything bagel toasted with jalapeno spread.....mmmmm. I got one this morning and saw I had not reviewed the place so here you go. Nice little places are going in here in King.

One of my favorite breakfast foods are bagels and they seem to be sooo much more delicious if they're NY bagels! Bagel Boss is a small NY bagel shop chain that seems to be quickly growing. This Bagel Boss is located in King, NC which is a small town northwest of Winston-Salem. We were quickly greeted with a smile and an employee with a NY accent (I wonder if that was part of why she was hired? ). Since it was my first visit, she was extremely helpful with offering suggestions and answering questions. I decided on the Everything bagel with Lox Scallion Schmear. It was delicious! The coffee and Cheese Danish was for my husband. He said the coffee and the Cheese Danish were okay. If you're a pastry lover, they have lots of options - almond croissants, chocolate croissants, black & white cookies, and much more! PRO TIP: Use cash for a discount!

Very happy to have a bagel place open up near us in King. The owner was there and was very attentive, making sure everyone was happy. He was in the middle of training new people but he still kept up the great service. Lots of bagels to choose from and schmear's. The bagel was thick and soft, a little on the small end but it was fine. I got the low calorie egg white salad bagel sandwich. The salad kind of fell apart and didn't stay in my sandwich. I mean, It's on me for ordering something super healthy, but I was hoping it would bind better to the bagel. I'll definitely come back and order something else. Great coffee here.

Super excited to find a bagel spot that not only has delicious bagels , with a great assortment of bagels, but a great assortment of spreads as well, but nothing like being able to get a Bacon, egg & cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup on a roll like I used to back home. No need for me to wait to visit NY anymore, I can get it here & it was delicious! The bagels we got were fresh & delicious, & the vegetable spread & garlic & chive spread went so well with the everything bagel, we also got the cinnamon raisin bagel & brownie spread was absolutely delicious! My boys and I are super ready to go back for bagels & to try some of the sandwiches that they have as well, can't wait to go back!!

Finally Open!! Nice, bright, clean! Very friendly staff happy to help with the many choices! Big menu!! They don't just do bagels and cream cheeses; they have other breads to choose from as well as omelets and pastries. We tried bagels this morning and a chocolate chip muffin. All the bagels had generous amounts of cream cheese- that are made in house! My husband had bacon, egg and cheese on his bagel and he was very pleased with the size, taste and that there was crispy bacon. So happy to have this option OPEN in King!

Decided to try this place out since a friend of mine that lives in King recommended it. It's the best of both worlds-deli treats and bagels! The hardest part was picking the bagel for my sandwich! I went with a safe choice of whole wheat. I ordered one of their signature sandwiches called the Oliver. It was a super sized sandwich-so yummy!!! The staff was very friendly and even though the wait was a little longer than I expected, it was worth it! They also had a section for coffees and sweet treats! Inside was also well kept with a nice seating area that had already filled up for lunch when I went. Definitely will keep this place in mind when I come out to King!

I was told about the awesomeness of Bagel Boss by my New York family members. I have been looking forward to try their bagels and other northern treats. The owners and staff are really sweet and they really give great customer service. I over ordered because so many things looked really good. We had a variety of their bagels tuna salad, white fish, salad, macaroni, salad, and desserts. The bagels were perfect. For me the perfect bagel is not too large and has a nice chew which these have. Their tuna salad was delicious and high-quality as well as their white fish salad. The macaroni salad was great because it was not drowning in mayonnaise. The desserts were really good. The standouts were the ruggelah and brownie. I thought the black-and-white cookies were a little dry, but they tasted good. My son had a grilled cheese Kaiser roll for lunch while we were making our to go order. He loved the sandwich and the roll was definitely exceptional. We will definitely be back to try more of their delicious food and enjoy their wonderful service.

Half the cheese was already melted off when I opened it up. Stop using wax paper that melts into the cheese.

$2.50 for a 12oz can of Coca-Cola?! No fountain drinks? No ice water? Desperately need outdoor seating. Cheese was syrup and completely melted off the bagel and made the wax paper disintegrate. Pros? It's across from Parry + Pearl. Save your money... go to King Kitchen.

Joe has the BEST bagels around! My go-to is the bacon, egg & pepper jack cheese on an everything bagel with a hash brown on top. SO good!

My…read moreprevious experience was underwhelming, but I decided to give the restaurant another opportunity in hopes that it had improved. Unfortunately, this visit fell even shorter of expectations. The food quality was particularly disappointing. The Cajun shrimp Alfredo was excessively heavy and resulted in immediate discomfort, lacking the balance and flavor one would expect from such a dish. The addition of bacon to the dish was a clear misstep, overwhelming the other flavors and contributing to an already overly rich and unbalanced meal. The croissants were equally unsatisfactory--dense, chewy, and overbaked, with a texture and taste suggesting they had not risen properly. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal was the side salad, which, while fresh, should not have been the most enjoyable component of the dining experience. Overall, I left feeling quite disappointed. Given that both of my visits have resulted in similarly negative experiences, I find it difficult to justify returning.

The food tasted great, although most of the food on the buffet was cold. The issue is the service! You have to seat yourself and despite it being a breakfast buffet, you have to wait for a server to serve you. That took forever--only come when you're not in a rush and have at least 1.5 hours. It wasn't crowded; there were empty tables the entire time I was there. At the buffet, you can't serve yourself. So finally when the server came to take our drink order and buffet details (you can do made-to-order omelets, eggs, pancakes as part of the buffet), you have to stand at the small buffet and wait for a server to put the food you ask for on a plate. This took a ridiculous amount of time. They had plenty of employees, but instead of taking our order or serving the buffet, they were filling ketchup bottles, talking, or doing other tasks that had nothing to do with serving the customers standing there waiting. There was a man walking around (appeared to be the owner, as he would occasionally instruct his staff) who was drinking a sweet tea. He rounded the corner to the buffet and I thought that he would finally help us. No, he was just refilling his sweet tea behind the counter. The kitchen knew what they were doing, but the wait staff is just plain awful. They were friendly, but inept. If they train their employees better, I will be back. For now, I won't return.

When the food arrived, I immediately noticed the sausage looked off and had a strange smell. It wasn't up to my standards, so I decided to skip it. Thankfully, the rest of the meal was better. The eggs were good, and the French toast was absolutely delicious--the highlight of the meal, for sure. Overall, while there's definitely room for improvement in both service and food quality, it wasn't a bad experience.
