We always have a great experience at bagel king. Whether going there for a quick breakfast bite or buying a dozen bagels for an event, we have never had a negative experience. The line always moves fast. They have every variety of water bagel you want plus all the schmears. If you are there for a bagel sandwich, do not expect real eggs- all they have is the microwaved mix. Bagels at your party could be served with the choice of adding smoked salmon, chicken salad, tuna salad or egg salad. You can buy some veggies (lettuce, tomato and onion) and you'll have something for everyone. If looking for a dessert bagel, their cinnamon sugar with amaretto schmear is heavenly. Bagel King is tucked away in a strip mall and a bit nondescript. You'll have to make sure to pay attention if it's your first visit. On Tuesday, you can get 18 bagels for $8.99. Not a bad deal! You can tell these bagels are homemade but there's something missing for me. They do cut the bagels in half and then grill the inside. I like the crunch that adds but I would prefer my bagel to toasted. The dough itself is a little bland, but the raisins in my cinnamon raisin bagel were very sweet. You should try and come early because around 11:30 Saturday morning there was an extremely limited selection. The only early work gets the bagel! You truly can't beat bagel kings bagels. They are large and give you an amazing amount of their home made cream cheese. The prices are great for the quality and amount of food. I love this place !! Their vegetable cream cheese has big chunks of broccoli and carrots, I get on an everything bagel, which only costs about 3.00 and fills me up. Definitely a place to try and I recommend all of the cream cheeses. You can take anything to go or sit down and eat. I also recommend Annie's special on any kind of bagel you want. My new favorite bagel spot! This location is a bigger sit down spot, which you help yourself to your own seat/table if you prefer to dine in. If not, you can order over the counter. Which of course, you can see the display of all the different bagel flavor choices, spreads, and baked goods. I have to come back and try the baked goods! The go to bagel for me is the sesame, toasted, with the veggie cream cheese spread. Oh my gosh, the veggie cream cheese is by far the best I've ever had! You can actually see cut up pieces of the vegetables, not just diced pieces. It's sooooo good. They have a big menu selection of breakfast and lunch items, so I'm definitely coming back to check it out. My real go to try is the matza ball soup. Been wanting to try it but i guess my timing has been off cause it's either not ready to be served or something. Sigh. One day i will!! Staff here is friendly and service is quick! read more

Found this cozy little spot on Yelp - I drive by here all the time, but have never noticed the bagel shop. The inside is cute and nice and clean and really reminded me of a cleaner NY deli. There are a few tables inside and a deli case with all their different kinds of cream cheese on sale. We did arrive a bit later in the day (about an hour before close) and there was a limited selection of bagels - not a big deal because they had my go-to sesame bagel. There were plenty of customers in and out, mostly with to-go orders. We ordered egg bagels with bacon for me and Pastrami for hubby. They do have a light meat version which I really liked -- sometimes you just need a small amount of bacon to fill that craving, but not go overboard. Portions were big and definitely well priced (4.99/5.99). The downfall were the bagels themselves - we may have high standards since we both grew up in NYC and frequently go back and carb-load on NYC bagels every other year. I love fresh boiled bagels with that thick chewy crust and fresh baked soft inside. These bagels did not have that defined crust and were not chewy - more on the crumbly side. Egg was typical deli egg (the liquid microwave kind that I actually like) - lots of it which was a plus. Bacon was just ok - a bit thicker and a bit more jerky-like than typical. The pastrami was not that great either -- not fresh, just heated up a bit too much to dry it to that jerky-like state of the bacon. There is a Yelp check in offer that we did not use (I didn't check in until after we paid). I will be back to try the main location next time -- I hope they have bialys which I have not seen in Florida quite yet. Maybe stopping in earlier will be the key! read more

They do NOT cheap out on the fillings, it is a HUGE sandwich that I usually split in half and save the second half for the next day. I'm so glad I gave Bagel King a try for a quick breakfast grab and go. I enjoyed the power protein bagel sandwich on multigrain. Everything can be customized as well. The location is small but still offers a few tables for inside seating. Be sure to use the offer when you check in on yelp, because the desserts are to die for! I absolutely love the bagels from bagel king. I grew up in NJ, land of delicious food like pizza and bagels and these bagels taste just like they did growing up. The shop itself is small, but we very rarely want to eat in the bagel shop so that's not a big deal. While a place like Panera and Einstein may have more variety, there is more quality here. It is also less expensive than the chain restaurants you get a dozen (plus 1) bagels and cream cheese for about $12-13. If you've been longing for quality bagels, I highly recommend this establishment. read more

I love me some local carbs! I had been to the Casselberry location when I lived out that way and immediately fell in love. It reminded me of the bagels I had in NYC plus they had other incredible breakfast options. Not many places offer egg or salt bagels which is huge. This location near Baldwin definitely is home-in-the-wall with a limited offering but it's still a-mazing. Both locations do the leftover bagel deal: by 2 bags get 1 free (unreal). I've driven by this place a hundred times and never stopped. Today I had a pet sit near this location so I thought I'd try it. It is in a small space, but that was okay because it wasn't too crowded. I ordered a bacon, egg & cheese on an Asiago cheese bagel. The staff was very friendly, the food was prepared quickly and the cost was reasonable. So, why the 3 star rating? I'm not sure if it was my taste buds or what I ordered, but the whole thing had no flavor. McDonald's BEC bagel has more flavor (probably from all the grease - LOL). I am going to go back again and order a different bagel in hopes that I was either having an off day or maybe that particular bagel is bland. read more

I could not believe it was around $2 for that kind of big bagel with the right amount of crispiness and flavour! I ordered their bagels every day during my visit there in Orlando! My girlfriend has always talked about how her and her family have been going to the same breakfast place every Sunday for years now. Well, when we were back visiting in Orlando a few weeks back, I was honored to be invited to Sunday breakfast at Bagel King. This place was packed! Reminded me of a traditional New York deli, which I think was the point. I was told that I had to get a bagel. The bagels were delicious. They tasted extremely fresh. Almost as good as a fresh H&H bagel. We also got some kind of breakfast plate, it included eggs and breakfast potato's. Can't go wrong there. Everything was extremely fresh and tasty. Oh, and I almost forgot about the coffee. They have about eight different brews, that are all self-serve. Hopefully I will be invited back as an honorary Sunday morning bagel king guest again. read more

I like to consider myself the Carb Queen, so it is fitting that I would love Bagel King. I have been going to the smaller Winter Park location for years, but you can't go wrong hitting up their bigger Casselberry shop either for a sit-down meal. This location has a couple tables inside and out, but I usually just prefer to take it to go. I like this location, since it is closer to home, and not usually too busy. However, if you go too late, you are out of luck on the bagel selection. I prefer my Andy sandwich (2 eggs which is really like a dozen eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat- I usually go with bacon, which seems like a whole pig) on an Everything bagel, but sometimes I have to settle for a Sesame. Which really isn't the worst thing in the world, as all of their bagels are so delish and fresh. They are seasoned on both sides, so you if you decide to split one with somebody there is no fighting over who gets the seasoned side. For lunch, a huge heaping scoop of their egg salad or chicken salad goes nicely with a bagel. I sometimes grab a tub to go, along with some extra bagels for lunch for the week. If you slice the bagels before freezing, it makes things a lot easier- I learned this the hard way! read more

It's a hidden gem I drove by for months before, one morning, noticing that I had made excellent time and yes, a bagel DID sound good before work. Of course the bagels are good and the toppings are luscious - the thing to write home about is the coffee! The brewed coffee you serve yourself out of those pump top thermos vats. I can't believe how good it is. Usually that kind of coffee is bitter or weak. Well done Bagel King! The people at the counter have always been very kind and efficient if not all that speedy. They like to say hello and ask about your day and that kind of thing - you know MANNERS! Though I grew up in Daytona and grew used to the only kinds of bagels available in that town - the spongy, white, Wonder-Bread-with-a-hole-in-it type of bagels that are available from the grocer's freezer section or Dunkin Donuts - I did spend 8 years in NJ/NY, and in that time, grew very spoilt by the amazingly delicious, traditional bagels that were readily available on every street corner in that area. Since moving back to FL, Winter Park to be exact, I had yet to find a bagel comparable to the kinds that one grows used to in NY. A really nice rich dough flavour, a lovely, crusty outside, and a not-too-dense/not-too-fluffy, perfectly chewy interior. This is exactly what I found at Bagel King. I daresay that they are almost even better! I always order the same thing: a lightly toasted everything bagel with a "schmear" of the chunky nova spread. It is always, consistently delicious; the seed/seasoning mixture on the bagel is perfectly balanced (not too much caraway, if it is there at all), the bagel is warmed up enough so that the cream cheese with its generous chunks of smoked, salted salmon begins to soften slightly, and nothing is ever burnt or blistered or too crisp. I usually skip their coffee because I feel it is a little pricey for the quality (sure I will pay $5 for a bagel, but a $2+ coffee, no way! Ha.) We usually go on a Sunday, so the place is always packed and bustling, but there's usually not a very long wait for a table for two. Five minutes at most. Service is prompt and friendly. Clientele is sometimes...strange. But everyone loves great bagels...even kooky characters...so you have to figure sometimes you are just going to run into the occasional oddball there. My problem is that I am somehow a weirdo-magnet and they always zero in on me, commence to plop down next to me and tell me their life's story. Sorry pal, I just want to stuff a magnificent bagel down my throat - I have neither the time, inclination, nor mouth-space to converse with you. read more
