It's a little further out of the way for me, but I appreciate the fact that this is a full-service deli that offers carnivorous options, as well as vegetarian. Walked right in and up to the counter (no lines!), stumbled through my order while trying to navigate the menu with its nearly overwhelming number of options available. The guy at the counter was a bit gruff and impersonal, or maybe that's just the way his voice is on a normal day. I had the BTLA on a cheese and garlic bagel, while my wife had the lox special on a jalapeno bagel with swiss. For the kids, three cinnamon raisin bagels with raisin honey marionberry schmear. Needless to say, the entire house was pretty happy with what they got. Bagels were toasted just right, and were chewy and just crisp enough to sorta scrape the roof of your mouth (but in a good way)! Received my entire order, which consisted of five bagels, two of which were full sandwiches, in less than five minutes. That's a good 10 to 20 minutes faster than a certain other bagel shop up the street on Sandy, and without added attitude and a side of smug. I think we just found our new favorite go-to bagel place!

Solid neighborhood bagel shop. It's not my favorite in Portland, but when I'm in the area I will stop in for a poppyseed bagel and with one of their amazing schmears. I particularly like their cinnamon walnuit raisin schmear and the veggie. I'll often buy some to bring home. I'm from NJ where great bagels shops are on every corner, like Portland has coffee shops. A good bagel is boiled and baked, has crispy outside with a soft interior and does not have to be toasted to taste good! Bagel Land bagels hit this mark.

Love the mom and pa bagel shop. It bring out the character and individuality. If you are in Portland and decided to go for a water fall hike, you better pack yourself some bagel. The hike will burn your energy faster then you think. What better place to stock up some food then bagel land? Bagel bake fresh and it have all the ingredients to make your mouth go.... WOW!!! 1) Location: right in the center of people traffic and the place was pack with customer starting early in the morning. Great location with much street parking 2) Server: Friendly, funny and kind. Make all the customer feel every special. 3) Price: the price is reasonable, and it won't hurt your wallet. Estimated per person is $5 to $10. 4) Taste: the taste just like your grandmom's baking from home. 5) Decor: simple, clean and easy on the eyes. Love the simple way of presenting to the customer If you love bagel like I do, then check out this place. It's awesome. Go Foodies

Solid bagel shop in the area. The bagel is super fluffy. The cream cheese is tasty too. Ordered the lox with egg sandwich. I would order them separately next time. The hot egg and cold lox didn't mix well for me. But the cheese bagel and cream cheese was fire. Overall: solid breakfast option in the area

New York is known for bagels but north Portland should be. Omg, this bagel was seasoned to perfection! Egg sandwich are your typical standard but add the S&P: it makes a difference :) A bunch of bagel options, coffee bar & great smear selection! Less salty than any bagel I've had before (yum) & they offer day old bagels (expect a little firmness) for less than $5!

looks like they tried to scrape all the cream cheese off, but that's the amount they give you on purpose

ok man, if you love this place, good on you. i see a bunch of great reviews. do your thing. however, if you like cream cheese this probably aint your jam. my search for a decent bagel in portland continues.

Crispy, airy, buttery and oh, so delicate, my raspberry cruffin was the dessert dreams are made of! If you've never had a cruffin... what are you waiting for?! It's croissant dough baked into a muffin shape. And the particular version I ordered today was filled with sweet and creamy vanilla custard and raspberry jelly. My mouth is watering describing this now, a true sign I'll be returning to experience this delicacy time and time again. There are three locations of Twisted Croissant in Portland, and this is the only one I've visited. The interior has a classic Parisian bakery vibe, clad in white subway tile from floor to ceiling. The bakery case in front of the store is beautifully stocked with fresh pastries, perfect for enjoying with a cup of coffee or tea. However, be advised, there are only two tables in the back of their public space, so it's not particularly inviting space to sit and enjoy your breakfast. Given the location, I assume there is outdoor seating in the summer months, but don't quote me on that. Regardless, run here if you haven't been. These baked goods are worth the visit!

Easiest 5 star review!…read more It's all about the goods, baked goods. Breads. Treats. Sammies. Coffee and all the drinks are fine but everything in display was made by hand with quality ingredients. People line up until it's gone. Some days we've waited thirty people deep but in this day it was about a dozen. Service is quick and although there is seating, it's often full. We always go with the intention of eating somewhere else. The jamon sandwich, French pastries and especially the perfectly crunchy carmelly palmier are my faves. The Annex next door has a paired down list of options that often keeps the line from getting too long at the main store. We love both. It's always part of our Portland itinerary and sometimes multiple mornings in a row.

The quiche was rich, flaky, and packed with flavor, while the chocolate croissant had beautifully laminated layers with just the right balance of buttery pastry and chocolate. You can taste the quality and craftsmanship in every bite. Service was swift and easy, making the experience seamless from start to finish. There was also a decent amount of seating available, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing something on the go or catching up with a friend over coffee and pastries.
