This was always my go-to spot for bagels since I grew up in this community. They're open 24/7 even on holidays and in bad weather. This photo was taking during a snowstorm when just got off a plane, jet lagged in the early hours of the morning, and had nothing to eat at home. Prices have expectingly gone up since I used to come here, but not necessarily unreasonable. Quality is decent, very typical nyc bagel type spot.

An absolute staple of a deli in Queens!! My father used to come to this spot back in the 70s and they have only gotten better! Their bagels are delicious and their sandwiches are even better! They have a great upbeat atmosphere and service. Also they keep everything clean and tidy!! Hit up this hidden gem if you are in the area 10/10

Was easy location off the freeway (and across from hotel stayed at). And the perfect place to grab bagel to take to the airport for the flight back home (after a final meal at awesome Brothers pizza near by, lol). Basic looking shop, but bagels were huge and they were delicious with the cream cheese even after long time! Half eaten on the plane after hours. Other half eaten in the car after arriving back in LAX for the final enjoyment of a NY bagel!

One of the worst Bagels I have ever had. I walked in and noticed the bagels did look a little flat but I saw them in the back making fresh bagels, and maintain hope that they would still be decent. This was worse than airport quality. This was the type of bagel you can get anywhere in the United States and not what a true New York bagel is. The bagel was flat, dense with very little difference in the texture between the inside and outside. A waste of calories and money!

We were headed to an early movie at Fresh Meadows on a Sunday morning and Bagel Oasis is right there. We stopped on our way and smuggled bagels into the movie. I ordered 2 Everything Bagels scooped out with scallion cream cheese and 1 salt stick. These bagels were fair and totally fine but not my favorite NY bagels ever. I'd go back next time I was going to the nearby movie theater.

Their bagels are soooo good and you can tell they are fresh. Good spot to takeout they do have a small sitting area but it's best just to pick up. Good customer service and food gets cooked in a timely manner. Would be 5 stars if they were a little less expensive but other then that I love this place!

I read about Bagel Oasis somewhere, maybe the NY Times. It was on our route, so we decided to a drive by. I stayed in the car. There were a bunch of cars double and triple parked for customers scratching their bagel itches. The store was quite busy. My wife got some everything bagels and some everything bagel flats (the term "flagels" makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up). These are the platonic ideal of bagel flats. A crisp crust and light. The flavor was amazing. Many bagel shops have dialed back on the amount of salt on their everything bagels. There was a good amount of salt on the mix here, which amped up the flavor. The seasoning was generously applied. The round bagels are almost comically asymmetric, as if to emphasize that they are hand rolled. I'm a self admitted bagel snob. These bagels are right up there among the best that I have ever eaten. I may start exporting them whenever I'm passing through. Can't speak to anything besides the bagels, but man oh man!

Bagel Oasis is my go-to late-night spot -- not just for sandwiches but even the occasional lottery ticket. My favorite is the honey turkey on a toasted roll with lettuce, red onion, light mayo, and vinegar. The sandwich always hits the spot, with fresh veggies and great flavor every time. Super delicious, consistently well-made, and open 24/7 -- and at $8.87, you can't beat it!

Egg bagel with Vegetable Cream cheese. Picture doesn't do it justice. This was incredible!!!

Heard about this bagel spot so we had to try. It's a very small shop. When we got there we waited in line outside for about 5 minutes then we waited inside for another 5 minutes. They move pretty fast. There are only 3 tables inside with seating for 6 people. We grabbed a table as we had a toddler with us. The staff is so friendly and agile. Our orders were made quickly. The bagels are so fresh and soft! The texture is amazing. The outside isn't as hard as other bagels. I got vegetable cream cheese on mine. I have never had such fresh cream cheese in my life. It was also a creamier texture than most. I wish this place was closer to me. I'd be a regular!

One of the (scallion) cream cheeses we bought had pink mold :(
    Lizabeth S.

We bought bagels and cream cheese separately. Bagels were good but cream cheese had pink mold on it!! Good thing I checked before using. And $8 for a cream cheese that size is slightly overpriced.

I observed a lot of staff behind the counter and they were moving and shaking with great customer service. The store had a little bit of everything that a corner store/deli would sell. I noticed a vegan menu, waffles and pancakes, chips, fresh baked items, assorted cream cheese and hot and cold drinks. They also had a lunch menu with a variety of sandwiches. I ordered a toasted French toast bagel with peanut butter. I also ordered a strawberry bagel for the next day. I also purchased a cranberry and coconut butter cookie. Everything was fresh and delicious. I never had a strawberry bagel and it wasn't sweet. It tasted like a plain bagel with color, lol. Overall, I would check this spot out again and try some different menu items.

Lots to choose off the menu- sandwiches, bagels and there is even fresh baked pastries and goodies on the other end of counter and a wall of cold drinks to choose from. We ate in the car while we head to the train station- everything was delicious - the eggs were bit over cooked but overall everything hit. Nothing like starting our NY trip with a NY bagel!

Not sure if they couldn't hear me well (they had loud customers) - they gave me a regular everything bagel. I didn't realize until I left already but it's ok, I didn't mind. It's a decent bagel but nothing ground breaking. The cream cheese was the standout imo. It was tangy and quite rich. I really liked it! There was a lot of food traffic while we were there, all different types of people: an elderly group, families with their young kids, a young couple. Canaan bread really has something for everyone! Friends brought me to Spin Bagel, and for that I am gastronomically thankful, for as good as New York bagels in general taste to me, the bagels at Spin Bagel have a "spin" on them that cannot be beat: clean, high-quality ingredients that enhance the taste as well as nourish the body, and a lightness to them that allows you to eat the whole bagel without feeling that heavy lump in the stomach one can get from the standard, doughier bagel. When I asked the owners what their secret is, I was told that it's the fermentation process that's unique. They also offer an array of meats and others bagel toppings that don't contain any nitrates/nitrites, artificial flavors, or preservatives. No seed oils are used. The atmosphere is super nice too - décor is charming, but it's the service that stands out. Our server was Angelina, who is charming and friendly, and moves like the wind. She served our food quickly, but no one rushed us out. I enjoyed all of it - the bagel and toppings, the service, the atmosphere. Going back again, for sure, next time I get to Bayside!
