I cannot believe I've never written a review for the Bagel Pub! This little shop is beyond amazing. They make fresh Brooklyn bagels every day. There's also over 10+ cream cheese flavors you could choose from to smear the bagel of your liking. You could also even add lox or get a bacon, egg, and cheese! Bagels are soft in the middle with the perfect crust. FYI, my mouth is watering while I write this review. Staff works hard and are attentive. They get super busy here, so there might be a wait, but trust me you will not regret it. One bite into a bagel and you will never go to another shop again. I love these bagels so much that I have to buy a few dozen to bring to family and friends in Massachusetts (as per their request). TIP: Seats are limited, so arrive early or take your bagel(s) to go! read more

I definitely recommend stopping by on your way to work or even school. Spring is around the corner and the ice coffees will be the first on my list. They have a backyard that is so nice and peaceful. Don't know about their food in general, but I can tell you that they infuse their everything egg bagels with orange food coloring. Go figure. That crunchy outside and soft chewy inside will be playing on repeat in my dreams. If a toasted bagel with cream cheese is more your scene then Bagel Pub has you covered. One of my go-to locations when it comes to grabbing some breakfast. Most of the staff there are friendly and the service is fast. I haven't had anything bad from there. The bagels are good and fresh. Great spot in Park Slope! I went there for the second time a couple of days ago and loved it again. For breakfast they offer bagels, a variety of cream cheeses, omelette a, juices, coffee, and more. Everything I ordered was delicious. This is the kind of spot that is so good you want to order way more food than you need. Case in point I got a bagel, a green drink, and a latte. Definitely didn't need two beverages at breakfast, but boy did I enjoy them! Last time I was there I ordered a veggie omelette on an everything bagel, however this time I ordered hummus and veggies on my bagel. Both were great. To drink I ordered a banana latte with almond milk and a delightful green juice. I am a bit of a juice connoisseur, and this juice blew my mind! The service was good, the space clean, and the aesthetic cute. The only negative I'd say was the tightness of the area you order, pay, pick up from. Bagels and cream cheese selections are great. Service is lacking. Pancakes always take forever to be made and if ordered with other items, such as toasted bagels, bagels get cold while waiting for the griddle orders. A good suggestion would be to either not offer food from the griddle or actually make food when the customer orders. Customers behind me always get their items and I'm the last to leave every time I order. Also the people working the cash register should try to be less rude. read more

It's a bit hidden, next to the McDonalds and with a black window in the front.. it's possible to miss it. Once you come inside, you'll fell this cozy feeling of a well attended place, with proper decor. If you arrive before 8 AM, you'll be the first in line and food will come out quickly. At about 8:15 AM, you're a bit late: The line is up to 10 people and food obviously takes a bit longer to be ready, since it's all cooked to order. The smoothies are good, I ordered "The Hulk" ($4.95) with spinach, banana, kale, coconut water and some other vegetables that made it tasty! The food is decent, fair price for what you pay. I ordered the LEO bagel ($10 USD, stands for Lux, Egg, Onions) and asked for avocado instead of the onions. My colleague ordered the French Toast with bacon and sausage and it disappointed him, as the toast was not cooked thoroughly... According to him, the bacon was also undercooked. read more

Wow! I didn't get the NY bagel hype until I had one. That NY tap water magic! We've had 2 bagel visits during our latest trip to the City and the bagel spreads looked like gelato displays- mounds of cream cheese spreads beautifully arrayed and decorated. I ordered the everything bagel toasted with lox and scallions spread. It was yummy! A generous spread of creamy lox provided the balance of salty, sweet, and silky texture. The scallions were a refreshing fresh herb that provided the peppery and somewhat spicy flavor notes. There were whimsical cream cheese spreads, like Oreo and tofu... a flavor suitable for every taste buds and diet. The store was busy when we came. Ordered pick-up from Bagel Pub on Saturday morning. The bagels were good, but it was a bit pricey and actually getting my food was a mess. Quality: Ordered several bagels, and I had a few bites of each. I started with an Everything Bagel With Sausage, Egg, & Cheese, which was the best of the bunch. It was toasted, so even sitting out for a while, it stayed warm. The melty cheese and smoky sausage were perfection. A close second best goes to a Cinnamon Raisin Bagel With Cream Cheese & Jelly. A nice amount of sweetness and the jelly proved a good compliment. I was less excited about the Bagel With Regular Cream Cheese, a little tough and seemed less fresh than the Cinnamon Raisin Bagel. However, the only real disappointment was the Everything Bagel With Nova Scotia Lox & Cream Cheese. It was very heavy on salt, which was certainly not helped by my choices of Everything Bagel or the Scallion Cream Cheese. But the fatal flaw was the fish, which was simply too overpowering. Quantity: Standard size bagels, the sandwiches are quite large. Value: $4 for a Bagel With Regular Cream Cheese. $8 for a Bagel With Sausage, Egg, & Cheese. $12 for a Bagel With Nova Scotia Lox & Cream Cheese. Ambiance: Bagel Pub is a shop located in Park Slope, along 9th Street. It looks like it is going to be a larger space from the outside, but it was a tight squeeze. For new orders, they have you head all the way to the back of the shop and slowly loop around. There is a pick-up area near the front by the register, but it is a disorganized mess. In a small cove they had two tables, which was definitely not sufficient for a busy weekend. The real problem was there was no comfortable space to wait and bodies just piled up. Crowd: It was extremely crowded on Saturday morning. I thought I was smart to order online, but that just led me to be stuck at the location longer and ignored. Service: Absolute chaos. The ordering system makes no sense, and they only call out some names on orders. I ordered online, and when I arrived and asked about it I was told it would be a few more minutes. Fifteen minutes later I learn my food had been sitting there the whole time. This was not the case for only me, as many other guests were frustrated by the process. I'm not even sure where to start this review, given that bagel pub and I are in a serious, long-term relationship. I have been living in Brooklyn for 7 years and ever since the first time I stepped foot into BP, I was hooked. I am a sucker for fresh, doughy bagels and Bagel Pub makes these guys perfectly. What I love about this place is that it doesn't just nail breakfast, it is a solid spot for lunch too. Their tuna is so good, their sandwiches are great, and everything is made fresh and to order. I mean you seriously cannot go wrong. They have an ABC bagel: avocado, bacon, cheddar. You can also get this as an egg platter. Just. So. Good! Their coffee is amazing too! I love their cold brew. I loved this place! The area is really nice too. The space is a little tight if you're expecting to be able to sit down. The menu is crazy they have something for everyone. I love this place. I've been to other Bagel Pub locations but this spot is my favorite. They have the best iced coffee. Everyone says "good morning" the minute you walk in. The counter person starts preparing my drink as soon as she sees me. I usually get a grilled cheese on whole wheat, but I've tried there bagels, croissants, oatmeal, French toast, wraps and sandwiches. Everything is really fresh. Today I picked up a sandwich for lunch. I got a roll with fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, basil and a little balsamic glaze. It was absolutely delicious!! I also grabbed an oatmeal raisin cookie and that too was fresh & delish. The place is super clean and when I come in the morning the staff is usually preparing fresh fruit for their juices & smoothies, or creating yogurt parfaits. The bagels are perfect, soft and crispy never doughy or tough. They have a million Sandwich combos to choose from and they come with fries or a salad. The prices are perfect for the amount of food you get. (Hearty Portions) This is my breakfast, and now lunch go to spot! I don't think the management is aware that a cashier here regularly tries to keep customers from being able to use the loyalty points system. She has said that "it's not working today" when nothing seemed different about the point of sale. She typically tries to put in your order faster than you can type your phone number in so that you can't get the points added. It's wild. Why wouldn't you want people to come back regularly? The bagels here are amazing, so it's worth coming for that. This is a part of the hospitality industry, and management's seemingly tacit approval of this hostile customer service encourages the community to settle for other bagel places that value their customers. read more

Ate it within 20 minutes but it was already a bit soggy =\ Totally not their fault, but I wasn't that into the omelette either. Was just sort of bland and a bit of a struggle to get though, even when I was hungry later. If I found myself in the same situation (in park slope and in need of food for later) I'd probably still come here, but maybe I'd just get a bagel with cream cheese instead. A slightly safer option! It was probably the best bagel sandwich I've had in NYC or NJ (I have had many, many bagels). Bagel was dense but fluffy and all ingredients were quality. When I'm in a rush and don't have time to have a sit down brunch on the weekend, you'll often find me here. Options at Bagel Pub are endless. There are dozens of choices for coffee, tea, smoothies, juices, sandwiches, breakfast/lunch plates, packaged foods and desserts. You could probably stock up for the week in one trip to this place. Though they're often very busy with people in and out in the morning and afternoon, you can usually find a seat in the front of the restaurant or in the quaint little backyard. Wait times are sometimes a bit long, but this place is catering to so many people that you can't really fault them. Their sandwiches are prepared well and are always full of delicious ingredients. My only complaint is their gluten free bagels. Like many other bagel places, they use Udi's plain, everything and cinnamon raisin bagels. Even when toasted and covered in whatever suits your fancy, these bagels always taste like recycled cardboard. I'm not asking you to bake them yourselves (though that would be ideal). We came here twice for bagels. The first time -- my everything bagel was PERFECT. Salty, crunchy exterior with a chewy, soft and dense interior. The light scallion cream cheese was delicious and didn't overpower the bagel. This was truly the best bagel I've eaten to date. Yesterday, we ordered 2 dozen bagels for the long car ride back to the midwest (to give as gifts and eat as snacks). We told the employees this, and inquired about possibly wrapping the goods in plastic to keep them fresher. They obliged and though I'm sure the bagels started out fresh, the next day upon getting home, the bagels were no longer crunchy/chewy. Bummer. Oh well.
