This place is great and has all the bagel options along with spreads and sandwiches. The bagels are so fresh and the service was pretty quick. The French toast bagel with cream cheese was 5/5 and i would easily go back and get a number of items from the menu. Ambiance is more of a grab and go though you could probably post up at a small counter. They have a multitude of beverages and coffee options as well. read more

Thieves. They increased the price AFTER I put in my online order. When I told them to keep the items that they adjusted the price on, they told me they couldn't help me. So they can adjust the price up but not down? DO NOT trust this place. It's very dishonest and scummy to treat your customers like this. read more

The bagel was very good, but the cream cheese and salmon spread was incredibly salty. Service was fast and friendly that the space is a bit cramped. I decided to stop in this cute bagel shop located downtown Brooklyn after my appointment it's not the first time I've been there. This is the spot to order your food grab it and go. They have amazing fresh bagels, and a nice selection of breakfast food to choose from. I've been seeing this rainbow bagel for quite some time and have yet to try it until today so I decided to get that toasted with scallion cream cheese and share it with my son. It was delicious as expected. Nothing out of the ordinary it's just pretty to the eyes. This place was a quick walk from our hotel and my boyfriend discovered it after he ordered a BLT sandwich on a bagel. It is so good! We moved their BLT sandwich that we went back a second day. Pio Bagel Flatbush has earned my loyalty for bagel sandwiches, unseating my nearly decade long run with another. The bagels are perfect: soft chewy interior, snappy exterior, not too tall, just salty enough plain. They also make a fantastic gluten free version. They open early, they have an online ordering system that enables me to put in big orders all at once. The options here are overwhelming for the uninitiated, with over 25 bagel types and another 25 choices in cream cheese. They offer lox, bacon, sausage, turkey sausage, tofu cream cheese, and the very delightful rainbow bagel. My order is always ready when it should be and the staff call me if there is a problem. They also offer pancakes, muffins, omelettes, wraps, and heftier sandwiches. Prices are on par for the neighborhood. read more

Just opened up this Monday! It's in my locale so obviously I had to stop in for breakfast. They're occupying a small space but it's good for the quick pick up of a bagel, coffee, drink, and snack. So far I've ordered a bagel with scallion cream cheese, BLT avocado, coffee, and BEC. All have come out nicely hot, take around 5-10 minutes max, and are well done. The servers are nice and sometimes have some difficulties ringing up custom items but it really just seems like growing pains. Even from Tuesday to Friday, they are much faster and are running a tight ship. So how do their bagels compare to other places? They're not super large, they have an appropriate amount of seasoning (for the everything bagels), and have a nice chew. It's a good standard new york bagel right at Brooklyns doorstep. So why only 4 stars? I like trying more items on the menu like normal and like seeing consistency over time. Stop in for a quick bagel sammy and maybe I'll see you there! read more

Stopped in for a carry out order. I got the turkey bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. It was decent! I also ordered a muffin, which was so stale I couldn't eat it. It was rock hard and clearly old, I had to pitch it. I was excited to try the coffee cake too, it was prepackaged, not made in house or fresh, it was edible but I won't be back for that. 3 stars for the decent bagel and friendly staff, but everything else was disappointing. read more

Super impressed by this place. Have ordered pickup for both breakfast sandwiches and coffee. They always pay attention to special requests (type of cheese, adding condiments), the rolls are incredibly fresh, and the serve is quick, friendly and attentive. Prices are very affordable. There are only a handful of tables, but we were still able to find a spot easily (we went around 2pm). We ordered Cuban sandwiches and guava pastelitos. I hadn't had a Cuban sandwich in years, and these absolutely did not disappoint. The sandwiches had the perfect balance of bread, meat, cheese, and sauce. They were rich and flavorful without being greasy or dry. They also came with plantain chips and a garlic sauce on the side, which was a nice touch. I also really enjoyed the guava pastry.
