Well, it's not Terrace Bagels, but then again, what is? Except Terrace Bagels, naturally. Bagels are okay here. Last time I had mine toasted and it was a little overdone (see picture) but it was tasty. However, it was so toasty, the veggie cream cheese got very melty and fell out of the bagel. Coffee is fine. If it's empty, it's fine but when there are a lot of people, it's set up poorly and it's hard to get to the back to order and then get back up to pay...especially if numbskulls think that a double-wide stroller doesn't block the entire narrow space. Here's a hint....it does. It's not awful and it's close so while I'm staying temporarily in the part of the Slope, I'll probably return. read more

Ordered an everything bagel lightly toasted with lox and tofu scallion cream cheese. A really well seasoned and filled bagel however, I would not recommend toasting it. It became a bit tough and rubbery when toasted. Nevertheless, they provided a generously filled bagel with fresh lox and the creamiest, smoothest tofu cream cheese I've ever had! By far one of the best bagel store cream cheeses! Not sure if it's made in house or store bought but either way, it was excellent. Also ordered an iced coffee with almond milk and sugar free vanilla. Very sweet so if you like it a little more subtle, be sure to ask for lite syrup. Either way a delicious and filling meal that I'll be sure to try again! read more

I proceeded to watch as the line of people who ordered after me got their food (many ordered items waaay more involved than my 2 bagels). I kept inquiring where my order was and was told "they're working on it". Two bagels, for 15 minutes???!!! Finally I asked to cancel my order only to be told I can only receive store credit. My go-to bagel is a garlic bagel with strawberry cream cheese and it just never fails here. My other half enjoys the lox bagel and although it is pricier compared to other places (not in New York haha), you pay for the quality. Highly recommend this place for your bagel experience. I love Bagel Pub. The food is always great and amazing quality. However the staff needs to be retrained in COVID safety. There was a staff member behind the counter without a mask on. He was talking with other employees and no one seemed to notice or care that he wasn't wearing a mask. There was a customer who was not wearing a mask correctly. I love, love, love bagel pub! There are multiple reasons this place is simply awesome. Lets start by saying the bagels are really good, I've been there multiple times and there bagels with cream cheese never fail me. The staff is very efficient! There always seems to be a long line when I go there but, they keep the line moving fast. One thing that differentiates Bagel Pub from the competition Is there HUGE selection of smoothies and fresh juices. I really love the fact that the juices are FRESH. I mean you can see the fruits and vegetables staring at you! Its great to have places in the community that bring the fresh, preservative free aspect to enjoying smoothies and fresh juices. Last time I was there I paid $5 for a small shake but it was worth it, and I order one of them every time I go there. I highly recommend the nutella banana smoothie, but all there smoothies are fresh and taste pretty amazing. There is such a large selection of fresh juices and smoothies you can't go wrong. Very cute environment, they have an inside seating are, an enclosed patio like seating near the entrance, as well as outside seating in the back. Two bagels with cream cheese, and two smoothies will cost around $15.. but the quality is there, the cleanliness is on point, and I will continue to be a returning customer. Bagel Pub is by far the best bagel in park slope! They have a huge variety of bagels. I usually get the pumpernickel everything. There is also a huge selection of cream cheese flavors as well and they're all good. My personal favorites include the bacon cheddar and bacon scallion. Their ABC special comes with avocado, bacon, cheddar, and eggs on a bagel with a coffee and hash browns. The lunch wraps are good as well but it is a bit of a wait for them but the wait is for them to freshly grilling the chicken versus have pre-cooked chicken which is nice. After trying many bagel stores around Brooklyn (at least 7 other bagel stores that only make bagels) I still enjoy Bagel Pub the most in Brooklyn. They have almost perfected the balance between a thick crust that is easy to bite into and a bread structure that has been kneaded to perfection. They also put a lavish amount of cream cheese on your bagel which I always appreciate. I'm a big fan of plain bagels (got to have a control to test at each bagel shop!) but honestly they excel at every bagel flavor despite the difficulties that adding in fruits or flavors may bring. From their egg bagel to their blueberry bagel they are very consistent. The same goes for their flavored cream cheese. Additionally, the staff is always quick and I'm never waiting more than a few minutes. Their prices are worth it, especially since all of their ingredients are fresh! During my weeklong visit, I came here for bagels twice. I have a favorite bagel spot in Manhattan, but this was my first time staying in Brooklyn. The bagels are a bit doughier than other bagels, but in a good way. The flavor of the dough is spot on, and they are toasted just right. My favorites are the everything and the poppy seed bagels, with the salmon and scallion cream cheese spread. Although I didn't try any pastries, their muffins and huge croissants looked absolutely heavenly in the pastry case. Also, their simple small coffee is delicious. Coffee is always great, bagels are awsome and they offer different soups which always taste yummy. As much as I love to give this place 3 stars i will be generous and give them 4 stars. This is the very first business i stepped inside during my very first trip to NYC and i was greeted by a couple very rude employees who "assumed" i knew the flow of the restaurant and where i should order what i needed. So after being told to "go order over there" by two separate employees it had to the point of walking out but i stayed because i told my wife I was going to bring her something to eat. After finally finding the right counter to place my order i did so all to run right back into the same rude lady from earlier. This second encounter was a bit mild but she should 0 intrest in helping me just had her hand out wanting my ticket and payment method so i said I'll never step another pinky toe in this joint. Like a pain freak i found myself in here the very next day and this time around i was ready for conflict but to my surprise EVERYTHING went smoothly and the bagel sandwich was awesome. Needless to say for the duration of my stay in Brooklyn (7days) i was here everyday and yea I still saw plenty of rudeness by the same two or three young ladies i dis catch thier names but choose not to post them in this review. So many great options to choose from here! They have all sorts of baked goods and a ton of things on the menu. My one piece of advice for them is you dont need that many options!!! Made my head spin! Nevertheless, i had a bagel sandwich. Turkey, cheese, lettuce tomato mayo. Simple and delicious. Bagel was good as expected and the sandwich worked. The three stars are simply and only because the bagels taste really good. If you're willing to deal with a very poorly operating restaurant that has a staff with bad attitudes, then you'll be fine. In a borough with so many bagel options, I will be taking my business elsewhere because I don't have the patience to deal with repetitive issues and excuses. To summarize, here are multiple experiences: - "we have no everything bagels of any variety" (who runs out of everything bagels entirely before 10am on a Saturday?) - 15 minutes to prepare two bagels with cream cheese. - "please wait five minutes to place your order because we are really backed up." (This happened in person-not on seamless) - please only add a half pump syrup to my coffee. (Drink is so sweet it tastes like coffee ice cream melted) I would have stopped going to this place 6 months ago if the bagels weren't so good. Homey & nice bagel spot. Nice to come here on a Sunday or any morning really. It's all bustling and filled with people which is cool, except when it comes to seating. This place offers so many options for food and drinks. It was quite overwhelming I forgot how to read and think while looking up at their Great Wall menu. I was standing on line and it was almost my turn to order, which was nerve racking since I still didn't know what I was going to order. I finally ended up getting one of my usual choices, a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and a regular coffee. Everyone has a pleasant disposition and are eager to take your order and check you out! They also have some of the most delicious smoothies! My mom got one every morning and said they were so yummy!! I ordered the veggie omelette on a bagel! We are doing the tourist thing & absolutely needed to try a New York bagel. We were having lunch down the street & I asked the server if the bagel two doors down were any good & they recommended bagel pub instead. First when I walked in I wonder where the heck the bagels were! It looks more like an ordinary deli/smoothie place when I first enter in. After walking all the way to the back I thought I was in the gelato section only to realize those were cream cheese flavors.
