Placed an order on door dash and in the special instructions put "salt pepper ketchup" on each of the 4 bagels. They then proceeded to charge me $2.50 PER BAGEL FOR SALT PEPPER AND KETCHUP?!?! So my 4 bagels went from $20 to $30 because I asked for SALT PEPPER AND KETCHUP......plus the order was wrong when it arrived. Employee was not helpful when I called to see if it was a mistake. Separate note, the owner has been rude and dismissive to staff and customers on multiple separate occasions. Go elsewhere in town for a better bagel. read more

Delicious find!! Service was quick especially during a Sunday morning rush. The family got several items. I personally got the poppy with plain cream cheese and Taylor Ham, and boy, were they generous with the ham and it was very flavorful overall. I went here a few times because it is conveniently located to my home and work. The first time was great. Then they started running out of product whenever I ordered and it was not daily, maybe once every other month. It would vary, one day they had no rolls, no roast beef, certain bagel types. Ok no big deal. But I stopped ordering because of this. I decided to give it another try and ordered yesterday. Roast beef on a salt bagel with lettuce and Turkey on a round roll with lettuce tomato Mayo. Was told they have no salt bagels. Ok fine I'll take a plain. Got there and was told they also didn't have round rolls so they put it on half a hero roll. Ok fine...not my preference but it's bread. Then.....I was watching her ring it up and they charged me 80 cents for each sandwich as a "vegetable" charge. I asked what that was and she told me it's for lettuce and tomato because everything is expensive these days. 80 cents for lettuce and tomato per sandwich? I told her I have never been charged for lettuce and tomato in my life! Meanwhile it wasn't even a whole leaf...it was chopped like maybe a quarter of a romaine leaf! The total was 19.26 and I was never even given my change back from the $20 I gave her! Normally I tip generously but they already got me for $1.60! If you have to charge for lettuce and tomato on a cold sandwich that is basically standard, maybe you shouldn't be in business! Will not be back! read more

Service is good. Bagels weren't bad but they don't use gloves. Saw one person walking through kitchen by the sink and coughed without covering her mouth. It was a phlegm filled cough too. They touched the food before and after taking it off the grill as well. Definitely won't be back. read more

We have stopped in many times since Covid and always had great egg sandwiches and coffee. We have found there bagels as good as any in the area. I usually follow yelp reviews but find it hard to believe that they only had 2.5 stars. They at least have some seating where others don't and are strictly takeout. Surprising, my new favorite bagel shop. I order: Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese on a Plain Bagel with Salt, Pepper, Ketchup Delicious! I have gone here multiple time, but today they didn't have my plain bagel so i went with a egg bagel. It was packed, and they accidentally gave us the wrong bagel order. So, we went back and they didn't have any other bagel I liked, so I sadly went for a muffin. They felt so bad and they were so kind and lovely they gave us two free chocolate chip muffins. We go here at least once a week: my personal favorite is the egg everything bagel with scallion cream cheese but their egg Taylor ham/bacon/turkey bacon cheese sandwich is also a winner. It gets busy on weekends so I'd suggest ordering ahead especially if you're getting a sandwich or something requiring them grill. Also, they run out of popular bagels as the day goes on so get there early-ish if you want the best selection. The inside is pretty small and sometimes it's confusing to know if the people inside have ordered or not but ask around and get cozy. The bagels are worth it. read more

The staff is very quick to help you when you walk in. On my first trip there, I had a bagel sandwich. Very delicious. The next day, I had a croissant. For a non-French place, it was good. There are stools to sit at, but it is more for while you wait. It is more a carry out type of place. read more

I think people were nervous when they saw the Tasty Bagel sign come down -- it was the end of an era for the kids who enjoyed it walking home, families who visited on weekends etc. But Bagel Run, also a family owned and operated business, has filled those shoes and quickly become a town favorite. Huge fluffy bagels with tons of variety (everything, onion, barley, french toast), creative cream cheese add-ons, and even healthy alternatives like a parfait or fruit. The owner is also very present and friendly. I went in today looking for some iced coffee, which they don't have on the menu, and he was able to innovate so I could have what I wanted. !!!!! Don't order the lox and cream cheese!!!!! I was close to rating this place 5 stars based on the staff. My concern is the cream cheese and "sliced lox" for $5.99. I'm used to eating lox bagel all over the Tristate area and always had some good hefty sliced lox bagels. So I thought this was going to be another episode of some great lox bagel session. Welp! I received a non toasted Bagel filled with 95 percent cream cheese and 5 percent "lox Bits". The owners need to change the name of this bagel from cream cheese and sliced lox to cream cheese and lox Bits. Matter of fact "Micro lox and cream cheese". Long story short I will describe this bagel as an overpriced cream cheese bagel for $5.99. If you use the word "Slice" to describe the lox, make sure the customer sees slices of lox instead of microscopic lox hiding inside cream cheese. I'll ask the owner of this bagel shop to fix this lox disaster ASAP. read more

I booked Bagel Run for catering for the morning-after brunch at the Marriott Saddle Brook following my wedding. The only reason I booked them was because the hotel let me know last minute that their kitchen would not be open to serve our brunch per our original agreement, and that we would need to cater from an outside company. Bagel Run came recommended by the hotel, and I did not have time a week before my wedding to research and book another catering company. I contacted the owner, Fagi, who immediately came off very shady, and told me he wanted me to pay via Venmo. I had to ask him 3 times to send me a printed invoice before I would do so, so that I would know what I was paying for. After he sent the invoice, he asked me how much I was going to be tipping (this was well before the services were rendered). I was immediately turned off, but still booked him, because again I did not have time due to the hotel's negligence. The morning of the brunch, they had 1 employee drop off the trays of food. There were no servers included in the agreement - all they did was drop off the trays. . They did not even set up the brunch - the hotel staff took care of that. They also forgot the trays of French toast, which I had to leave brunch to call and remind them about, and they came back to drop it off over an hour into the brunch. The food was only ok, nothing special. When everything was over, I sent Fagi a separate Venmo with $150 for the tip. He actually had the nerve to text me , not even thanking me, and ask why I did not tip a full 20%. This guy actually expected me to tip him 20% of the total bill ($290!) just for dropping trays of food off, and not even serving anything. Completely unreasonable and unprofessional, and I will never recommend them to anyone. read more

Passing by and saw this location had a new name and was under new ownership and I figured I'd stop in and give it a shot. This place did not disappoint in the slightest, nailed my order to a tee, crispy bacon, melted cheese and the bagel itself was good enough to just have alone, I got the everything bagel but they look like they have anything your heart could desire. Have been there twice more since this place opened not even a week ago and had a salad for lunch there which was delicious. Believe the owners are middle eastern and you definitely get those flavors in the chicken and see the influence on the menu. Midland bagels has been the status quo in this area and that place has quickly become an after thought for me. Bagel run is my go to spot right now and I suggest anyone local or passing through go in and check it out !! Ps.
