I was so disappointed this summer. I was in New Jersey and I had been waiting to have my customary bagel and it turns out the business was on vacation and I went to get my bagel in the morning and they were closed! So this time I was very excited that they were open and I got my favorite toasted sesame bagel with lox cream cheese spread. Their lox spread is so good. It makes my eyes roll to the back of my head and there is nothing like a North Jersey/New York bagel. There is just no comparison here in PA that I have found. This place also has great iced coffee. You just order the cup size you want and they fill your cup with ice and hand you the cup and then you go to the iced coffee dispenser and fill up your cup and they have four different types of syrup you can put in along with skim milk, 2% and cream. Their coffee is very smooth and not bitter at all. They make bagel breakfast sandwiches and you can of course get the local Taylor pork roll sandwich too. I noticed that this time they now have touchscreens for credit card orders. But you can still order from a cashier because if you pay cash, you don't have to pay a 3% credit card charge. The parking lot out front is very small, but if you turn into Kenny Place where the Crowne Plaza hotel is, you can actually park behind the bagel place and then just walk around the front. They get quite busy but they are quite efficient in their service. And I enjoyed my bagel eating it bite bite bite on my long six hour journey home.

Bagel was fresh and so tasty. Eggs cooked to perfection and cheese melted enough to bring everything together. Service was fast and ambiance was homey. Will def come back!

Visited Midland Bagels as it was located adjacent to our hotel. I am not a big fan of bagels, but my everything bagel with two eggs, sausage, and cheese was tasty. I only ate half of it though because it was Thanksgiving and I didn't want to ruin my appetite. The service is top notch. These people bend over backwards to get your order taken and to make your order fast. They pumped through a line of customers in no time. And the orders were correct. The bagel was hot and fresh and if bagels are your thing, I'd definitely recommend this establishment. Fast service!

Stopped by Midland Bagel for a quick bite while in Jersey. I couldn't miss the place ... there was a line out the door! When that's the first thing I see, I'm thinking, 'this is a place I gotta try'. Parking up front was all taken and the side street was also out of the question so I parked in a lot in the back. Now let's get to the good part .. the food. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese on a roll and my son ordered a garlic bagel with scallion cream cheese. I throughly enjoyed my sausage, egg and cheese. I was quite happy (not gonna lie) when I saw that Midland wasn't cheap with the sausage as they put 2 sausage pattys in the breakfast sandwich. My son's only complaint was that there wasn't enough scallion cream cheese in the bagel ... but I'm not going to take a star away knowing that the amount of cream cheese given was enough for a regular person, not a growing 14 year old who loves scallion cream cheese. Would I come back? Absolutely!! Wishing Midland Bagels and Grill continued success!!!

Half of a Bacon, Egg, & Cheese on a Croissant

My boyfriend and I have been eyeing this spot since we moved to the area almost 2 years ago and finally made our way over. Our order included a Toasted Sesame Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese, a Plain Bagel with Cinnamon Raisin Cream Cheese, and a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a Croissant. I had the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese on a Croissant and I personally loved it. The eggs weren't too runny or too overcooked and the bacon was crunchy. Pretty straightforward. 1000x better than a Dunkin or Starbucks sandwich. I love how you can order online and pick up your order in a device that keeps the orders warm. I'll update my review when I try that! The only downside is that parking is a bit tricky. We saw a bunch of people park on the side street and that seems like the way to go if you don't want to deal with the exiting on the main road. We will be back!

Came before noon and picked up some bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwiches and two plain bagels and honey walnut cream cheese to go. The breakfast bagels were great, really flavorful and good portions/ratio. The honey walnut cream cheese for the plain bagel was ok imo, could've been a tad sweeter in taste but still pretty good. Will def be back again!

I LOVE this place. You cannot get a bad breakfast sandwich here. They make the bagels fresh and it smells so good inside. Super fast and so reasonable.

Now I hate cheating on The Bagel House in Kearny but we were in the area and my boyfriend drools every time he thinks about Midland Bagels. This is his favorite breakfast spot. We'll just have to learn to live with our differences! Lol. I'll admit, their bagels themselves are delicious. They're fluffy but dense and huge, all signs of great bagels. Where mine fell short was the veggie cream cheese. I love a tangy delicious cream cheese chock filled with tiny minced veggies. This one was just lacking, so skip it. A plain cream cheese will still be great on their delicious bagels. We also got a tuna wrap, it was fresh and tasty. My boyfriend got a Taylor ham egg and cheese bagel and it looked great too. He was in his glory. We also splurged and got some chili cheese fries. These were great, how can you go wrong with cheesy chili fries? Yum. Give them a chance if you're in the area. Best to call and pick up.

So incredibly disappointed when I came in this morning to splurge on a birthday breakfast but the girl was very insistent that they will not make runny eggs or even lightly fry them. I've never had this issue there and I didn't even bother getting anything.

So I try to go to different bagel Places. I think this was one of the best in NJ. I got the lox sandwich with scallion cream cheese on a toasted sesame. I usually don't toast my bagels, and I didn't ask for it toasted, but it was a pleasant accident. The toast makes the sesame seeds pop.

I hadn't realized before visiting that it's a chain with locations in several states, including Florida. There's plenty of parking outside, and the restaurant itself is bright and nicely decorated with a modern farmhouse feel. When we arrived, we went to the front to ask for a table but had to wait behind a line of people who were paying their bills. Apparently, you can either pay at your table using a QR code or pay at the front before leaving. We used the QR code, which was convenient, but the setup at the front felt inefficient. We had to wait quite a while just to speak to the hostess even though the restaurant was about half empty and didn't seem particularly busy. Once seated, we noticed that the coffee cups already on our table were dirty. Our waiter, Nicholas, immediately offered to replace them with clean ones. Nicholas was pleasant, professional, and very accommodating throughout our meal and was definitely the highlight of our experience. He offered us coffee and left the pitcher at the table. It was around $4 and includes the pitcher, which I wish had been explained since we hadn't had a chance to look at the menu yet. The coffee itself was good, basic diner-style coffee. I would have preferred refrigerated cream or half-and-half to pour into it rather than the small individual creamers you typically get at a fast-food restaurant. For food, we ordered one of the summer special, an omelet, carrot cake pancakes, and the loaded potatoes. Everything was seasoned well. The summer special was mostly potatoes, and I would have preferred less potato and more steak and vegetables. When we mentioned it, Nicholas and the chef were very accommodating and brought us an extra side of steak, which we really appreciated. The carrot cake pancakes were good, but not particularly memorable. Surprisingly, the loaded potatoes with bacon and Parmesan cheese sauce were probably the most flavorful thing we ordered, although they're more of a side dish than a meal. Overall, the prices were lower than many other brunch spots in the area, and the location next to the outlets is very convenient. There were some things I liked, especially the service from Nicholas, but I don't think I would go out of my way to come back specifically for breakfast or brunch. It served its purpose that day, and Nicholas's kindness and attentiveness definitely made the experience better.

My husband was drinking the coffee, they took away the saucer. I think they need to train the staff for better service especially your price is on the higher side for breakfast. The place is small but acceptable, they open the doors but wish they have better air circulating system if they decide not to use the ceiling fans or AC.
