This is by far the best bagel shop I've been to!! The bagels combined with the customer service top it all! Right off the bat, you're greeted by such wonderful employees. They are very sweet and caring. This location is next to a lot of companies and has a cute little courtyard you can sit at outside. It's pretty quiet in the area. The bagel are absolutely delicious! They run out quickly, so I haven't been able to try as many bagels as I'd like to. I've tried their salt bagel and sourdough bagel, both of which are delicious! I want to make it over early one day so I can try the onion and garlic bagels. I also get their turkey bagel sandwiches for lunch and they are so tasty and so fresh! A perfect lunch!! I envoy those that work at one of the companies that is nearby this bagel shop. I'd be here every single day if that were the case! I was in North San Jose a few days ago for errands. I left home really early to beat the traffic, and I found Bagel Street Cafe on a Google search as something close to where I was in San Jose. The service and employees were really good and friendly. After ordering, I had to use the bathroom, and they watched over my bagel, which was really nice of them. Keep in mind that this place was pretty pricey. I bought the lox, and even though I usually like onions in my lox, I didn't want it that particular day. They prepare your food quite fast and with a smile. As another Yelper mentioned, the servers will greet you as 'young man' or 'young lady'. I think that's pretty nice of them and shows they are quite hospitable. A bagel here with flavored cream cheese will cost you around $2.60 with tax. They have a really good selection of bagel types and spreads. My personal favorite flavored cream cheese spreads are the Sundried Tomato and the Vegetable. For bagels, I like the Everything and the Onion. The bagels themselves are reasonably sized and fill me up for breakfast. This place also serves sandwiches for lunch and I really liked the Tuna Melt. It's served open face with Tuna salad and melted cheddar cheese on top. The only problem with the sandwiches are the size. I find them pretty tiny and I needed a bag of chips to get full. I recommend coming for breakfast because I feel the bagels are a lot more reasonably priced compared to the sandwiches. == A MUST TRY! == read more
