We order the Sichuan Street and the Little Red Lox along with a Strawberry Matcha Cookie and got it in less than 10 minutes. The Sichuan Street was the perfect sandwich. The bagel had a nice chewiness to it and the Chinese sausage and hot honey gave it a little spiciness and sweetness. The Matcha Strawberry Cookie was very good, never really had a cookie like that. Almost like a scone but great flavor from the strawberry. We came back a second time on the weekend and a bunch of bagels were sold out but the two bagels we did get (chocolate) with a tub of ube cream cheese and it was still great! Well, it was time for me to give this place a try. I ordered my standard Bacon, Egg, and Cheese and selected the sesame bagel. The food came out fast and I was ready to dig in. One problem. Only 3 tables in the whole place and they were all taken. Not happy about that. But maybe this place caters to more take out business. That's possible, but that's not my thing. I like to come in and eat in the restaurant. So, I went and grabbed a table outside in the sweltering heat. The sandwich was really good. Definitely worth a repeat visit. But again ... this place needs to find a way to add more seating. There is room in the front to place more tables or possibly counter seating. This needs to be addressed. Saw reviews on instagram and know I have to try it. Not a bit disappointed. Get there 7:05am and already busy. Ordered the Sichuan St, Ruben Roundabout and Dominicano. The Sichuan St is the best, a little kick with some sweetness. Bagels smaller than NY bagels but is so far best we found in NV. Owner and people are so nice and friendly. The bagels were quite good. I do wish the everything bagel was a little less hard. It had a good flavor but a little harder than the I hoped. I asked for chive cream cheese and the cashier said they didn't carry it. They did have scallion cream cheese and that was a great alternative. My nephew got the special Sichuan bagel sandwich and he thought it was excellent. Bagel street has a small eating area which was nice for a quick meal. Overall good experience. The line was long but it moves quickly. It is a bit of a wait until you actually get the food but you can watch them make the bagels! Pretty tasty bagel spot! I enjoyed the Szechuan street bagel with its Chinese sausages. I did like the peppered bagel too, although a little messy. I just discovered this spot this past week and wasn't sure if it was new or I had simply missed it before. I stopped by on a Friday morning and it had a steady flow of customers, but nothing overwhelming. The menu offers a great mix of classic bagels with flavored cream cheese or more unique bagel sandwiches with Chinese and Dominican-inspired flavors. I went with the Sichuan Street bagel, and it was excellent. The bagel itself was light and fluffy, and the sandwich had a nice kick of heat. The standout was definitely the Chinese sausage. You can order ahead, and the in-store wait time was reasonable when I visited. While places like Call Your Mother tend to get a lot of popularity for their bagel sandwiches, this spot holds its own and at a slightly lower price point. My friends and I got the horrible idea of walking/running to Bagel Street from Arlington last Saturday morning. Two of us woke up at 7:30 AM to get ready for our long 10 mile journey that would take about three hours and 44 minutes according to Google Maps. Fortunately, it took us a bit shorter than that, but we were famished upon arrival. We waited for our other friend who decided to run here under the scorching sun. There was a decently sized line at around 11:30 AM and an even larger clump of eager people waiting for their orders. Most of their bagels were out except their scallion pancake, smoked cheddar, and blueberry. The employees were nice and friendly and told us the wait for food would be around 25-30 minutes. SICHUAN STREET - 11.95 All three of us got the Sichuan Street bagel sandwich because it's definitely one of their most unique offering. Normally, this comes with a Sichuan bagel, but since they were out, we substituted it with the scallion pancake. We devoured the sandwich -- partially because we were quite hungry after the trek, but also because it was delicious. It's a great fusion of ingredients containing Chinese sausage, American cheese, kewpie mayo, egg, and hot honey. Truly a flavor bomb of creamy, savory, sweet, and light amount of spice. The bagel was crispier than expected, unlike the fluffy, slightly chewy bagels I'm used to. But I loved that it was different since it reminded me of the crisp of a scallion pancake. I also got a few bagels (2.60 each) and a scallion cream cheese (6 per 8oz tub) to enjoy for the next few days. Despite freezing them, they all tasted amazing and fresh once I air-fried them. I enjoyed both the scallion pancake and smoked cheddar with the scallion cream cheese (incredibly aromatic and fresh) and some smoked salmon that I already had at home. Dare I say, the best (maybe the only good) bagel in NOVA! I saw Bagel Street all over Instagram so I just had to check it out and I was honestly blown away! I got the Captain's Catch (smoked tuna) and the Sichuan Bagel on an everything bagel. The bagel is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. What a cute addition to the Vienna area a local bagel spot versus the franchised ones. I love the bagel artwork it's fun and zany. A very cozy spot that fits into the locality that is Vienna. I really hope bagel street stays true to humble roots and continues to grow as a buisness because the quality with some places tend to change once they are established. Wishing them all the best right now with their soft opening. They seem organized even for a morning rush. Quality takes time and I'm glad they aren't rushing things. However it does take awhile since they weren't anticipating a rush. Be prepared that due to soft opening they man run out of items but they are constantly baking. If you get the right bagels, this place is fantastic. Best bagel store in the area by far. If you get the wrong bagels, this place is fine but not worth the price. I've gotten the Zatar bagel which is excellent and pairs well with cream cheese or butter. I've gotten the smoked cheddar, which is also excellent. Anything with a lot of seasoning on it is great (sesame seed was great). Unfortunately, my wife does not share my glowing opinion of this bagel shop because both times she has gotten bagels there, she's been extremely underwhelmed by the lack of flavor. Her blueberry bagel was blueberry in name only. There was absolutely no blueberry scent or taste. We thought the rosemary bagel would be different, but there was but a lone dash of rosemary on top, a few grains of sea salt, and absolutely no rosemary flavor to be found. They would be very good bagels if they actually tasted like blueberry or rosemary. But as it stands, they are nothing special. For the price of one of these, you could drive down the road to Bobby's bagel café and get six day olds. Nothing special, but you get a lot more bagels for the price. 10/10 highly recommend. I'm a bagel connoisseur and have tried almost every spot in the DMV--this is easily my new go-to. I was excited and drove far for this special sichuan bagel, I drove home expecting everything to be made correctly. When I got home I realized it did not come with kewpie mayo or scallions, both of which I don't just have laying at home. This is disappointing, while they refunded it to me after I called, it was still a waste of time, effort, and gas on my part to get this sandwich. It was completely dry. I dislike when they mess up my order because all they can do is refund it, I won't be driving all the way back for another one.
