    Bagels and cream cheese

Saw reviews on instagram and know I have to try it. Not a bit disappointed. Get there 7:05am and already busy. Ordered the Sichuan St, Ruben Roundabout and Dominicano. The Sichuan St is the best, a little kick with some sweetness. Bagels smaller than NY bagels but is so far best we found in NV. Owner and people are so nice and friendly. Bought extra half dozen with cream cheese to go. Highly recommended and will definitely come back.

The bagels were quite good. I do wish the everything bagel was a little less hard. It had a good flavor but a little harder than the I hoped. I asked for chive cream cheese and the cashier said they didn't carry it. They did have scallion cream cheese and that was a great alternative. My nephew got the special Sichuan bagel sandwich and he thought it was excellent. Bagel street has a small eating area which was nice for a quick meal. Overall good experience. Next time I'm in Northern VA I'll be back to try something else.

The line was long but it moves quickly. It is a bit of a wait until you actually get the food but you can watch them make the bagels! The bagels are softer than what I would normally expect but I think that made it a bit easier to eat the messy sandwiches. The combinations are unique and they are very good!

Pretty tasty bagel spot! I enjoyed the Szechuan street bagel with its Chinese sausages. I did like the peppered bagel too, although a little messy. The parking and seating here are a little unfortunate, but nice to take your bagel and eat elsewhere. I'd probably wait for things to die down to visit again; can be crowded.

tl;dr: A new family-run bagel shop offering up unique, delicious bagels. It feels like there's a new bagel shop opening every week in the DMV. While some of those might be big corporate franchises, Bagel Street Cafe is a family-run shop infusing their heritage into their bagels. You'll find special flavors like the spicy Sichuan, and the subtle, but distinct scallion pancake. This shop is so popular, you'll probably wait a little on the weekend, but the line moves quickly and it's worth it. Food: - The Early Bird (Sausage, Egg, and Cheese) - I ordered mine on a smoked cheddar bagel, and it was the best decision, adding even more flavor. This sandwich comes with a dijonnaise, which I enjoyed, but you can ask to leave it off if you prefer. - Sichuan Street - A Sichuan bagel (not too spicy!) with Chinese sausage, Kewpie mayo, American cheese, and an egg. This was different, and not a menu item that you'd find anywhere else (that I know of at least.) A stand-out menu item. - Scallion Pancake - It looks like a plain bagel, but it does have a scallion flavor! Parking: On the weekends, parking can get tight here. There's additional parking in the back.

I just discovered this spot this past week and wasn't sure if it was new or I had simply missed it before. I stopped by on a Friday morning and it had a steady flow of customers, but nothing overwhelming. The menu offers a great mix of classic bagels with flavored cream cheese or more unique bagel sandwiches with Chinese and Dominican-inspired flavors. I went with the Sichuan Street bagel, and it was excellent. The bagel itself was light and fluffy, and the sandwich had a nice kick of heat. The standout was definitely the Chinese sausage. You can order ahead, and the in-store wait time was reasonable when I visited. While places like Call Your Mother tend to get a lot of popularity for their bagel sandwiches, this spot holds its own and at a slightly lower price point. Looking forward to coming back and working through more of the menu.

My friends and I got the horrible idea of walking/running to Bagel Street from Arlington last Saturday morning. Two of us woke up at 7:30 AM to get ready for our long 10 mile journey that would take about three hours and 44 minutes according to Google Maps. Fortunately, it took us a bit shorter than that, but we were famished upon arrival. We waited for our other friend who decided to run here under the scorching sun. There was a decently sized line at around 11:30 AM and an even larger clump of eager people waiting for their orders. Most of their bagels were out except their scallion pancake, smoked cheddar, and blueberry. The employees were nice and friendly and told us the wait for food would be around 25-30 minutes. SICHUAN STREET - 11.95 All three of us got the Sichuan Street bagel sandwich because it's definitely one of their most unique offering. Normally, this comes with a Sichuan bagel, but since they were out, we substituted it with the scallion pancake. We devoured the sandwich -- partially because we were quite hungry after the trek, but also because it was delicious. It's a great fusion of ingredients containing Chinese sausage, American cheese, kewpie mayo, egg, and hot honey. Truly a flavor bomb of creamy, savory, sweet, and light amount of spice. The bagel was crispier than expected, unlike the fluffy, slightly chewy bagels I'm used to. But I loved that it was different since it reminded me of the crisp of a scallion pancake. I also got a few bagels (2.60 each) and a scallion cream cheese (6 per 8oz tub) to enjoy for the next few days. Despite freezing them, they all tasted amazing and fresh once I air-fried them. I enjoyed both the scallion pancake and smoked cheddar with the scallion cream cheese (incredibly aromatic and fresh) and some smoked salmon that I already had at home. Bagel Street is the best bagel spot in the DMV. The couple who runs the cafe are really nice and sweet, and I'm excited to come back for more bagels and cream cheese!

I see why this place is so highly rated! I love the unique speciality bagels they have like the Sichuan bagel with Chinese sausage and the red lox lane! The bagels taste so fresh and airy and seasoned perfectly with a generous amount of filling. The workers are also really nice and the food came out fast. There are a few tables and chairs to sit at which is nice. I want to come back and try their lunch road bagels!

So MF gas holy shiiii. I tried going on Friday after my run around 12pm & it was all sold out. So I went after solidcore today around 8am & they had everything. I got my siblings bagels what i think they'd like bc they were asleep. The service was very kind and had a welcoming feeling inside. Home-y vibes. I highly recommend going but go early!!!!! (Or else its all sold out and u need that Sichuan bagel fr) 2x sichuan street (Sichuan bagel, Chinese sausage, kewpie mayo, egg, cheese, & hot honey) 10/10. Gd it was the perfect amount of everything with a little spice kick. Holy shi The block burger bagel - (onion bagel, burger patty, cheese, red onion, Dijon, & pickles) can't rate bc its my brothers and he's not up

Dare I say, the best (maybe the only good) bagel in NOVA! I saw Bagel Street all over Instagram so I just had to check it out and I was honestly blown away! I got the Captain's Catch (smoked tuna) and the Sichuan Bagel on an everything bagel. The bagel is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. A lot of the bagel places in the area just toast up stale bagels, but you can definitely taste the difference in quality here because they hand roll their bagels fresh every day!! The plus is that the owners are also SO SO friendly and nice. I'll definitely be back.

Best bagel sandwich I've had in a long time! Kept seeing Bagel St promoted on socials and needed to try it! I got the Sichuan sandwich and was NOT disappointed. The bagel was a bit spicy, so I may try a different bagel next time, but the rest of the sandwich was perfection. The combo of egg, Chinese sausage, cheese, kewpie mayo and hot honey made for the perfect balance of sweet and savory making for the perfect bite. The staff were very kind and helpful. They get a bit busy, so try to go at off hours or be prepared to wait a little bit. It's worth the wait!

By far... I mean by far... the best bagels in NOVA! But it could also be that it was soooo busy... that I had a scallion bagel right out of the oven... man... I am a bagel fanatic and only think about bagels from NYC and certain Jersey places... This was the closest I've ever had... this place gets slammed and there is only a few seats and the parking is insane... So I'd make sure you have enough time and maybe even order ahead online and pick it up! But you still have to wait even if you order ahead... Good things come to those who wait!

Great bagels with fun Asian flavors like scallion and szechuan peppers. Our favorite was the scallion cream cheese and the rosemary/seasalt bagel. Staff is friendly and helpful. There are 3 tables if you want to eat inside.

I stopped by about an hour before closing, which may have impacted my experience. By that time, a lot of the bagels were already sold out. That said, the menu was very extensive with tons of bagel sandwich options and other items. There's also some indoor seating, and they sell a variety of snacks, drinks, and bottled waters--almost like a small convenience store. This definitely seems like a great spot for a quick breakfast on the go. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. One suggestion I'd make is to invest in paper menus or QR code menus--the menu was a bit hard to read, especially with so many options. I ordered three onion bagels to go, along with a container of plain cream cheese and a smaller chive cream cheese. Unfortunately, the bagels were disappointing. They were pretty hard and didn't have much onion flavor at all. On the bright side, the cream cheese was amazing--both the plain and chive were super creamy and flavorful, easily the highlight of my visit. I'd be willing to give this place another try, but probably closer to opening hours in hopes of getting fresher bagels. I can see why people like it, and I think timing really matters here.

Since we were back in the area for a DMV for a brief visit we knew exactly where we were stopping before heading to the airport. Hubs ordered his usual sausage, egg and cheese sandwich , and I ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich along with an iced mocha. I had completely forgotten they have a Starbucks on-site with a limited menu. Of course, I couldn't leave without grabbing a cookie and a chocolate croissant for later. The food arrived fresh, hot, and exactly as expected. The staff is always friendly and personable. You see professionals, students and the locals coming in and out, but there is seating available. Conversations are at a minimum and despite the attached restaurant you can still hear yourself and the other person without yelling. One thing I appreciate about Best Buns is the consistency. Whether it's been months or years between visits, the quality never seems to change. The sandwiches are flavorful, the ingredients taste fresh, and nothing feels like it was sitting around waiting to be reheated. Everything is prepared to order, and you can taste the difference. My sandwich disappeared one bite at a time, and Hubs completely demolished his croissant sandwich without hesitation. That's usually all the confirmation I need. Some restaurants are good. Some are memorable, but there are the places that become part of your routine whenever you're back in town. Best Buns has earned that status for us. Five stars earned! Consistently fresh. Consistently delicious. We'll be dropping in on another turn and burn later this month...

We decided to go to get a little snack and coffee to start the day before some errands. I got a vanilla latte, while he got a mocha latte. Both iced. I got almond milk and hubby got oat milk. I enjoyed the blend of coffee and flavor - not either one overpowering each other. I personally like a little more syrup but it wasn't undrinkable. The almond milk was a teeny bit woody. I'll get oat milk next time. The cashier helped us decided on what pastries to get (there wasn't any signage). I ended up getting a strawberry croissant that was so pretty - it even had some gold glitter on top! Perfect for cherry blossom season. It was flaky and not too sweet. Hubby got a cinnamon roll and they warmed it up for it so it was nice and gooey. It was a cute urban feeling cafe with great AC and comfy seating.
