This is a fantastic bagel. Baked the right way. I am so glad that, after I walked the entire 108th St. area looking to see if there was a bagel store, I searched on Yelp and found that the closest one was right where I was standing. Had I not done that I would have driven elsewhere. Not too many customers for a Sunday morning but the main guy is working hard to take care of his customers. And it was well worth the wait. I have not had a super crispy crunchy fresh bagel in a long time. Bravo. Wish I had found this place the two weekends prior when I went to substandard places. read more

Awesome bagels, we got the flat everything, with egg salad and a tuna salad. The egg salad was great! The tuna was a bit fishy. The orange juice was fresh but tart, if you like that! My parents got the coffee. The 4 of us split the 2 bagels and it was filling! The service was good, ambiance is OK. Total about $5 per person. read more

Really good bagels, rarely but occasionally get a stale one. Cinnamon walnut cream cheese bland. Everything bagels need a bit of kosher salt to make them perfect. Excellent iced coffee. Did lose the restroom with the remodel though. Attentive staff. read more

Decent bagels. I ordered a half dozen and definitely preferred the plain over the everything bagels. Plain was soft but the everything bagel it was hard to chew through. I used it to make my own BLT and peanut butter sandwiches. The store was spacious and clean. read more

My wife and I ordered from Jerusalem bagels yesterday. This was the first time using them, and we were most impressed by the quality of both the bagels ( we ordered a week's supply), and their marvelous cheese danish. Horrible service. The establishment has signs saying line forms here. After I get to the counter tells me I'm on the wrong line. The line was long just left. Didn't even apologize stated "At least someone pays attention here." Then tell me that's the line. read more

Bagels the way bagels are supposed to be! The first bite of their bagels brought me back to my youth; crispy on the outside light and airy on the inside. With so many bagel places in Queens, this is now my new favorite. What makes these bagels different is that they are prepared in the old school style: hand rolled and kettle boiled then baked at a high heat in a traditional bagel oven. The restaurant on the inside looks like my grandmothers formal dining room with crystal chandeliers elegant wallpaper and comfortable seating. This is also a deli serving traditional spreads omelettes wraps Panini's soup pastries juices and of course coffee and tea. I purchase my lox from Carmel, a day traditional European deli, just across the street and order an everything bagel with cream cheese to go. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Keep in mind that this is a kosher restaurant so it is closed on Saturdays. read more

You can get the perfect bialy here, light and fluffy... toasted - but please don't ask for butter - tastes like Margarine! I'll go with a different spread. How difficult is it for a fancy looking bagel place to get quality butter??? They should upgrade the staffs knowledge on the art of coffee....espresso/cappuccino and take orders at the register- it would feel a bit more organized and appropriate for the style of the bagel shop to do more. read more

I'm a Bagel Lover! I'm a LOX LOVER!!! I'm a New Yorker! There are 3 Bagel shops on 108th Street in Forest Hills, but really only ONE worth eating at and this one at this point, is not it. If you grew up in NY or lived in NY for any long period of time, you probably know what a good bagel is. I've been to this establishment 3 times and all 3 times the same things happened; poor quality food and poor quality service. The first two times I visited, I ordered a bagel with baked salmon spread and sliced lox. Each time the baked salmon spread tasted as if it was going bad and each time the lox had large brown markings on it. When I asked the counter help to pick slices without the brown markings he just stared at me and grabbed the brown marked slices anyway as if I was asking too much. To be honest, I probably was asking too much as I could not see any slices of Lox that didn't have the large brown markings on them and he knew it! Listen! Lox doesn't have Brown Markings on it. I've never met a salmon that does. Check your fish!! This tastes like cheap quality frozen burned lox. Real Lox has a nice light buttery and smoked taste to it that's not over powering and that melts in your mouth because of how fresh it is and how well it's cut. The last time I visited I asked for a plain bagel with lox spread this time (twice was enough with the baked salmon spread) and sliced lox with onion. Guess what? The lox was browned again?!?!? The lox spread was practically tasteless and I had to remind the counter help to put onions on the bagel 4 times....4 times? Yes, I was amazed too. The help here isn't very well trained and the owner is very short and curt with his staff and customers. He doesn't ever smile or engage with his customers. On my 3 visits he's always too focused on ringing up and yelling at this staff (not a good look.) Not sure why since this is a customer service business where half of the business formula requires positive engagement with customers (the other half requires quality food.). I tried to talk to him twice with a friendly smile, but got nothing other then asking me if I needed my receipt and then seeming annoyed when I said yes. Unfortunately, 3 visits was enough and I'm going back to the only Bagel Shop on 108th Street that deserves my hard earned money; Bagelicious! Here they are nice to you, are exacting with your order, have handmade spreads that are so tasty and fresh and Lox that drips of quality and I really mean quality, sans special brown markings of course. I tried, Jerusalem.... I wanted it to work, but you've got a lot to learn about being in the NY bagel and customer service industry. You're not doing anything to set yourself apart. 3 tries was enough and certainly more then most New Yorkers will give. Good luck read more

These guys are amazing! I stopped by back when they just opened up and I was amazed instantly; unfortunately they didn't have a yelp account at that time. The bagels are on point and most importantly very consistent.
